We’re back in school and you know what that means: an apple for the teacher! In fact there are lots of apples for everyone in Webkinz Next! From August 14 to August 27 look for apples around Kinzville and walk over them to collect them.
When you’ve collected 20 apples or more, you can trade in 20 for a random prize. Collect up to 50 apples per day.
There are 9 prizes to collect:

- Lime Green Lunchbag
- Orange Lunchbag
- Class Cork Board
- Blue Lunchbag
- Kinzville Academy Grey Skirt
- Kinzville Academy Blouse
- Wall Pencil Sharpener
And remember, there’s now trading in Webkinz Next! That means that if you miss a prize, or get multiples, or just want to collect more of a certain item, you can always ask your friends for a trade!

The game yesterday was just generally glitched. I spoke with a lot of people and the people who joined the cake bake-off event at 4 pm were locked out of the one that started at 7 pm. I was able to get enough apples yesterday, but the game for the cake bake-off also just causes me to feel really nauseated. I do experience motion sickness a lot, but it doesn’t usually approach the point where I am on the verge of vomiting.
It made me dizzy and nauseous too.
Same here. Makes me feel very dizzy and nauseous. Please allow us to change the camera view for this event.
West Coast woes! “Next” won’t load for any of our computers this morning. keeps saying connection issues when everything else is working. Help!!!

Sally Webkinz I am not seeing any apples falling on all of my accounts today. I was able to collect 20 only yesterday did not see any more. There was an update August 9th I was not prompted to update the App I am wondering if this has anything to do with me not seeing any apples today I have been looking for hours, I know others see them I asked. Tried logging out several times no luck finding. I would really like to get the NEW prizes. Any Suggestions.
Seems like you need to cash in 20 apples at a time for the next round to fall.
I think it is wonderful the apples stay so you can get them.
Reminder for everyone and notify for those who don’t know: The first day of any event on Webkinz News normally does not start until after 9:30am EST/EDT North American time. This is how it has been for years and according to recent updates will remain this way. They do not have the capability to activate them at Midnight your time. It is set to activate when Webkinz employees are actively at work.
I tried joining the cake bake-off event at exactly 7 pm Kinzville Time today and it said that I had limited plays even though I have not done the event yet. I tried clearing the cache and everything, and it still didn’t work. I have attended all of the cake bake-off events and this has never happened before. Has the cake bake-off events changed to a once a day event?

Unlike past events in this style, you can’t hold onto more than 20 apples at a time. Once you get 20, you must spend them before any more will fall. You can also continuously do this, beyond 50… Based on this post, I think that’s a bug and it’s meant to be capped at 50 so maybe a hotfix will change it. But for anyone else who can’t find more past 20, just a tip that you have to spend them to get more (for now anyway).

That’s if you can get to 20. I just don’t understand – I saw some people not seeing any while others were claiming getting 100 up to yes TWO HUNDRED in one day! I love that the apples are big but how many of these events do we have to have where they just don’t work properly? And if we DO have to use the first 20 (if you get them – I still haven’t) before we get more apples that will be the end of me doing this event. Just as bad as this baking event thing is vomit inducing being forced into camera view. If the animals moved and rotated like any other game it would be lovely but we seem to be in the early 2000′s in Ganz and just can’t get out of them.
