Wow! We had over 750 entries in our Companion Pet design contest! We invited you to design pets who would make as good a companion to an existing pet as the new Tiger Lily Kitten is to the fan-designed Tiger Lily Pup!
We had a hard time narrowing down the list but after much discussion we are pleased to announce the following 10 finalists.
While the Creative Team will have the final decision on which of these finalists will go on to be made into a virtual Webkinz pet that will be available at Ganz eStore later this year, we need your input to help us decide!

I made like 12 designs and unfortunately none were finalists!!! Time wasted… Anyway I like the caracal, the calf, or the cosmic wolf.
I don’t know how you can call it time wasted. I think I entered 15. It made me think, create, draw, plan. It exercised my brain, it made me excited. When I came up with designs I was proud of and I could share and envision as pets, I was having a Good time. I want to keep doing it, so I’m going to be submitting to Fan Art. Some of these artists have been submitting their work for a while, now. I’ve even seen some of them go from rudimentary to almost professional. It’s never time wasted, just because your design didn’t win. Especially against 750+ other entries. Just keep submitting your work to Fan Art and watch your audience grow. You’ll be amazed at the reward of self-accomplishment and how many new friends you’ll make. Don’t let not-winning deny you from sharing.

I would really like to see the Caracal and Monarch Butterfly become pets in webkinz world. This air fawn is too blue, I liked the one from the medallion contest more, it complemented the trio of elemental deer better.

I have been so amazed with all the entries submitted for the contest. There are so many adorable and winning designs. Out of these though, I would have to chose the Air Fawn because I was going to design pets with this theme for another contest. But I do like the idea of more cows, goats and dogs too.
