It’s me, Cowoline. Molly mentioned that she had been trying to get Booger to go outside more so I thought I’d invite him to come out with me.
I started this leaf collection a few years ago. I just love how the leaves turn color in the fall. There are so many beautiful shades of red and gold and orange. So every autumn, I look for the most perfect samples to add to my collection.
I thought that might be a perfect excuse for Booger to get out. I know how he loves science and I figured he could tell me all about the chemical composition of a leaf and why they change from green to other colors. I mean, is that a perfect assignment for Booger, or what?
But he just said no. I pointed out that it was all in the name of science but he said he was busy working on some other projects right now.
Hmph. The thing is – I could see the screen in the living room behind him with a video game on it. Do you think THAT’s the project he’s working on?
Here I was, offering him a chance to share his scientific expertise with me and he would rather play video games.
HAVE YOU SEEN GOLDEN LEAVES?
poor booger
Wow, Booger is really missing out on so many fun things to do. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. I just love watching the trees turn color. I would do what Cowabell is doing and save my finds by ironing the most beautiful ones between two sheets of wax paper, cutting out different shapes around each leaf to save the colors, and show them to my friends.
You know what? I feel bad for Booger because one day he WILL finish this video game and will come out looking for friends. He probably will expect his friends to accept his apology (if he has one) and not be mad at him. But everyone will probably ignore him and do something else. Then he will be alone all because of his selfishness and not wanting to play with his friends every once and a while.
I think you’re totally right.
I would love to see some pictures of your leaf collection!
I thought that Booger likes math??? And yes, he should go do something else instead of playing too many video games.
He better not be addicted to it…
That is soooo MEAN of booger. i think mrs. Cowiline deservs a huge hug. i feel so sorry for her. i hope next time he will say yes. she is sooooo nice. who would say no to here. i know i wouldn’t.
i didnt know he played videogames. why the heck would he be so mean to a girl. i thought he was better than that.
Um, why does the first sentence say “It’s me, Cowoline.”? Her name is Cowabelle and her last name is Cowoline. Anyway… C’mon Booger! Stop with all of the video game stuff! A little is OK, and turning down your friends sometimes is OK, but always turning them down and playing non-stop is taking it too far.
Video games are okay, as long as they don’t run your life. If a friend wants you to collect leaves or play tag or ride bikes or something with you, don’t turn them down just so you can beat the game as quickly as possible. At least an “after this level” would be fine so you could save your game…but turning them down altogether means that you are too addicted.
yep i agree

go out side with cowline he needs to go see nature when its fall you can rake leafs and jump in them
and when its winter you can make a snow man
OMG Booger! Stop not talking to your friends and being with your video games all the time! Seriously! This is going too far…….

Poor Cowabelle. I feel for her but, not for Booger.
*Garden Girl*
Yes, I do think that. Booger needs to get his self kicked in high gear. I think webkinz is going to far on this booger thing! ;-)
i should know. i just lost my 4 friends last night.
