Crafty Critterz – Webkinz Organizing Box

Got lots of codes, Trading Cards and other Webkinz-related knick-knacks? Make yourself one of these boxes — another craft from our archive.

What you need:

  • A box with a flip-open lid (see picture)
  • Poster paint (others paints will do)
  • Markers
  • White printer paper
  • Foam or thick cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Glue

What you do:

  1. Paint the box with a fun pattern.
  2. Let the box dry overnight.
  3. Write “Webkinz” on the lid.
  4. Measure a white piece of paper to fit the inside of the lid (trim if necessary).
  5. Write “Webkinz Information” at the top of the paper. Below that, write your user name, password, secret code, and pet name(s).
  6. Glue the paper to the inside of the lid.
  7. Make two dividers from the foam or cardboard and fit them snugly in the box. If necessary, trim the foam or cardboard so the lid closes properly.
  8. Put in all your cool Webkinz items like Trading Cards, Secret Codes, Webkinz Clothes, Lip Gloss, Body Spritz, Charms, and much more!

This is a great way to keep your Webkinz items neat and tidy!

Do you have a great idea for a craft, recipe or party game? We’d love to hear them!

This is a cool idea–I just use a binder; I put my codes into a page protector, and I have some of my pets’ adoption certificates in there. It’s pretty simple; I think I’ll have to decorate it up. I’ve been inspired! Lol.

This is a cool idea! Of course, all my codes couldn’t fit in the box. Currently, I keep them in a plastic bag, and I’ll need a bigger one soon, eheheh. :P And I definitely couldn’t fit all my pets’ names on those two lines! I’d be like, “Blue, Bluebell, Prancer, Snowy, Plady…oh, I’m out of room…and I still have 149 more names to write.” But anyway, I still think the box is pretty neat! :)

Yep, this is a cool craft! :D Haha, yeah, same here, all my codes are currently scattered throughout my house in random plastic bags :P I uh, should probably find a better place for those, eheh. Haha, me neither, I’d probably only be able to write, like, 5 or 6 pet names on the two lines, and there’s no way I could fit my 300+ pet names on two lines :P But nonetheless, like you, I still think this craft is pretty cool! :D I’d probably need a gigantic box if I were to do it, though XD

      • ilovemoonie says:

Yeah, it is! :D Haha, yeah, I can relate. Most of my pet codes are in a bag in my room, but some of them are…well, I honestly have no idea where they are. :P I lost them awhile ago, thus I can’t adopt those certain pets. :/ Anyway, yeah, me too! I’d only be able to write a few names, and then I’d have to put ‘etc’ or something, heheh. I have a list of all my pets’ names on my iPad, and it’s quite long! But, yes, this is still a pretty cool craft! XD Me too, I’d need a big box if I were to fit all my little Webkinz items and codes in it!

Lol! Wow, you guys must of been collecting them a long time. I have a bag of plushies in my corner of my room with my webkinz in it too. I have my tsum tsums on my desk (plushies and figures) and my Mabel, waddles, and bill plush in my green circle chair next to my desk. Above the chair I have a several times poster and my certificate of mystery. Above my desk I have my poster of the inventions of mcgucket and white Christmas lights. My theme of my room is mostly gravity falls. XD It is my favorite show.

Me too, ILoveMoonie! How many accounts are we allowed to have, anybody know? I wouldn’t want the makers of Ganz to get mad at me for having toooooo many : (

    • bubbashuka says:

WOW. You have so many webkinz! Is that true?!

  3. greenmagic77 says:

Hey everyone! My webkinz mobile has been saying “nuts and bolts is tinkering try again later” for a really long time. Has this been happening to anyone else? I am just making sure it is just webkinz and not my tablet not working. XD

    • TaffyKitty12 says:

Aw, that must stink >.< Hm, I don't believe that's been happening to me….. I haven't gone on Webkinz mobile for a few days, but when I last went on, it worked for me, though occasionally, that message will pop up….. I hope whatever it is gets fixed for you soon!

      • greenmagic77 says:

Ty taffykity. :) I hope it will be fixed too.

        • dixiecup says:

There is nothing that needs to be fixed, greenmagic77. You maybe having a wifi issue. If your wifi signal isn’t very strong Nuts’n'Bolts will show up on your mobile as tinkering. Move to a place in your house where the signal is stronger Or switch to data for a bit. I find when my signal is weak I’ll swap out to data (just remember that if you don’t have an unlimited data plan this could get costly) and I can get on just fine.

          • greenmagic77 says:

Thanks for the help Dixie but I believe it was from the webkinz updates for the mobile. :)

If you’re still having problems – try turning off your phone (power it off totally – don’t just restart it. People forget to do this at least once a week because we use it nonstop and forget phones need to be shut off just like computers). This clears out all the old files and garbage that collects on the phone. Then try again. If it’s still not working – wait for it – uninstall the Webkinz app and then reinstall it. You won’t lose anything! Your account info and all your stuff is on the Webkinz servers, not on your phone. Then power off, and try again. This will fix almost anything, ever, no matter what. Like magic! Give it a try at least. Good luck!

this happens to me too! I just keep clicking “Ok” and then it loads anyway if I keep taping “Ok”

  4. bubbashuka says:

Uhh, I know I’m supposed to keep the codes, but I don’t! I should from now on. :/ Anyway, cut craft! I <3 crafty critterz!

    • bubbashuka says:

OMG! I meant cute! Not cut!!

    • dixiecup says:

Bubbashuka, you should keep at least one code per account (make sure you know which account the pet is on if you are running more than one account) This way if you have an issue you can contact Ganz Customer Support and the tech wizards can get into your account through the ‘backdoor’ and fix whatever needs to be repaired. This also proves that you are the owner of the account.

      • bubbashuka says:

Yeah, I should. :/ I want to get a 60th webkinz soon, (yay, then I’ll get a super bed!) And I’ll keep that so maybe I’ll make this craft.

What is a “secret code”? Like, an item code, or is it something else?

  6. dune456 says:

I would need a closet to fit All my Webkinz items!!!

  7. kittymade10 says:

I love this! The idea was cool, but I have so many codes it would not fit in the box. :p

  8. 13carrotpoppy says:

Cool! Thanks Ganz for these great ideas! :D

  9. greenmagic77 says:

That is a really good idea! Perfect for organizing!

  10. Alphaowlbear says:

LOL – if I had made a box like this, maybe I would not have lost my secret codes for four years. Then, out of the blue I found them again.
