When you take your family on a fishing trip in Webkinz Next, there is a chance that you will catch gorgeous fish!
There are six categories of fish to collect. Each category has rare, common and uncommon fish species and each of them looks incredible. Since the game doesn’t give users a detailed view of the fish, we thought it would be fun to post some close ups.
Here’s a look at the fish in the Mysterious Seas category:
If you collect all six of these fish you will have the opportunity to trade in the entire category for one Seahorse Playground Rider.

TY TY Ty for this place. You have done a phenominal job. When I have a down day, it’s great to escape to the ocean. Even if I can’t physically be there. The fish are beautiful and very realistic. Thank for a mini escape.
Since I fill 7 pets hearts everyday I have accumulated over 3600 points. Unfortunately I can only use 100 a day. I would like that to change.(-: I have learned the trick of clicking no faster than 2-3 clicks per second. I haven’t lost a fish since . I discovered I can click different parts of the ocean to catch different fish. I have lots of repeats but I have completed two collections. I wonder if fishing at different times of the day affects the fish? I did switch to my rechargeable mouse since this activity is pretty hard on batteries.
After fishing, I take an occasional sail around the island. I was surprised by seeing where the airplane is parked.
In this grouping, I love “Nemo” the best. The polka back fish and the seahorse are also cute. Boy do those spiny dogfish sharks put up a fight! Thanks to @100dogs for sharing that the lionfish is the rare one in this grouping. DorothyLou, could you please let us know which one is the rare fish in the future articles that you do on the other groupings? Thank you for taking the time to show us the detailed design of each of these fish!
While we are on the subject of fishing on Next vacations, there are a couple of things that I wanted to bring up. First, why didn’t you tell us that if you click on the yacht a second time after you have already gone fishing, your family will go on a lovely peaceful boat ride around the entire island? I had no idea, but it was really cool! I hope that other players try this. Second, just this week I have noticed a glitch where my family stays behind on the dock, while my active pet and my baby go out fishing. The weird thing is that I can hear them casting lines, and they even catch fish, even though their seats are empty. “Ghost fishing”?? Just thought I would mention it. I don’t know if it’s just me, and if so, how I fix it.
Sorry! I was looking at the “Extraordinary Oceans” picture in the article above when I picked the clown fish. I usually go for the cute and colorful fish in each category, so it’s the polka back fish, hands down.
How do you win the fishing boat? If we claim the prize at any of the levels do we have to start over to win the boat? We would appreciate any help on this. Thanks.

They fixed the Banggai Cardinal Fish Aquarium. I do not know of any others that are not working. Also how do you go fishing 2 times a day i thought you can only go once a day?
