Attention all Artists!
Persephone, Webkinz World’s most fashionable Host, is throwing a special event in honor of Webkinz Day!
You’re invited to participate in Persephone’s Design A Dog Contest! There’s a black and white Webkinz puppy that needs a makeover! Submit your own design and, if you get chosen by Persephone and her Webkinz team, your design will be turned into a virtual Webkinz Pet!
It’s easy to participate! Just follow these five easy steps…

2.Color in the Puppy.
3. Scan or photograph your drawing.
4. Upload it to the Design A Dog Contest Gallery on the on the GanzWorld Share Center any time between Monday March 24th and Friday April 25th!
5. Cross your fingers until Webkinz Day (April 29th) to see if your design won!
The grand prize winner will receive a 1-Year Deluxe Membership AND their Design will be turned into a real Webkinz virtual pet, which the Winner will have added to his or her Webkinz World account!
Remember,
- You can enter as many designs as you want- the more submissions the merrier!
- Contestants HAVE to upload their work to the Design A Dog Gallery on the GanzWorld Share Center. Never uploaded to the ShareCenter before? Don’t worry! It’s easy. Just watch this video to see how it’s done!
- You can use any kind of art supplies that you want! Want to use markers, pencil crayons, crayons, it doesn’t matter- this contest’s Fabulous Level? Unlimited!
- You don’t NEED to include ideas for this pet’s adoption gifts (PSI & PSF), but feel free to draw them out if you want!
- We can’t accept submissions with company logos, or sports team emblems.
- Please make sure you save your images as a jpg, gif, or png.
Rumor has it that Persephone will announce the winner on Webkinz Day!

once they choose the winners, is Ganz going to make all 6 designs virtual or just the top design?
I just read the comments all the way back to March 26th and I think I got my answer to the question regarding “moderation” and why my image isn’t showing up in my share center. Hope my continuous re-entries will not cause any problem. Sorry bout dat!!!
once Ganz chooses the winner,will they redesign it to be like the other pets? because what if they choose one that is printed out and coloured?
The submissions will be treated like concept art (listen to Podkinz Episode 2 to hear how we do concept art!). So basically, we will take the design and make the final art based of it to fit the existing style of Webkinz!

The file size for one of my puppies is too large! How can I reduce it so it qualifies? Thanks!
If you’re doing a digital version, make sure you’re saving at the lowest default quality (DPI:72). If you’re taking a photo of a drawing, make sure your camera is set to do smaller photo sizes and then, when you put it on your computer, it might be worth resaving it at a lower quality if it’s still to high. :)

Ok, so i am horrible at drawing so i might not even enter, but i colored this dog that I would totally adore! Its called the Cheezy Puppy. And its Psi would be a Cheese Head Hat (Which if you do not know what that is, you REALLY need to look it up.) I designed this dog because my nickname is Cheese Head and i play with a Mocha Pup right now, but if there ever was a Cheezy pup i would TOTALLY BUY 1 !!! Cause all my friends on Webkinz call me Cheese Head or Cheese for short and I know they would love that pet as well! The dog is yellow and looks like it has holes in it like the real Cheese Heads do! If anyone likes my idea they could draw a picture of it cause i know mine would totally not win since i am horrible at drawing! XD And plus if the design did win, then whoever drew it would get the prize! thats a bonus right? XD ok, thats all for now! I hope you like my idea! Cheese
Hi all! I was wondering, if we win, will we get a copy of our pet without having to pay for it? Because if you design something, i dont think its fair if you then have to buy it :( Please answer! :)
