UPDATE: While we will not accept images that have computer generated patterns or graphics copied and added to them, participants may use programs like Paint or Photoshop to color and draw freehand. We appreciate that not everyone has a printer and a scanner and we want to make sure the contest is open to everyone.
Halloween in June??? That’s right – because this is your chance to design a Halloween Pet which will be sold in Ganz eStore in the fall. To enter first choose one of six templates provided below: Cat, Snake, Bat, Owl, Rat/Mouse or Frog. Then let your imagination run wild as you create your ghostly masterpiece. When you’re done you upload your final product to the Share Center.
The winner will receive a virtual version of their winning entry, a brand new Pet Design Trophy plus a 1 Year Deluxe Membership. The nine runners-up will receive a 1 Month Deluxe Membership.
The contest runs from June 1-30, 2016 and the winner will be announced on July 15.
A few things to remember…
- You can enter as many designs as you want!
- Contestants MUST upload their work to the Design A Halloween Pet Gallery on the GanzWorld Share Center. Never uploaded to the ShareCenter before? Don’t worry! It’s easy. Just watch this video to see how it’s done!
- You can use any kind of art supplies that you want. Feel free to use markers, pencil crayons, crayons, or other art materials. Go for it!
- Please use the templates provided. Only entries with the 6 different pets will be accepted.
- You don’t NEED to include ideas for this pet’s adoption gifts (PSI & PSF), but you can draw them if you want.
- We can’t accept submissions with company logos or sports team emblems.
- Please make sure you save your images as a jpg, gif, or png.

It says the winner will receive a virtual version of there pet,dose that mean it will be just virtual or will there be a plush also?
While it’s not impossible, it’s highly unlikely that it will become a plush pet.
i have a question. can i mail the picture to you guys? cause the share center hates me. i followed the instructions, watched the video, emailed ganz world lots of times and what they said didnt work, so whats the adress i can send it to? if i can that is
Unfortunately, it would likely not arrive in time. Sometimes creating a new GanzWorld account can help.
about the account… im logged in with my webkinz world account. i have tried making several ganzworld accounts. i have been waiting almost 2 years for my first email to arrive. i emailed ganzworld about it and i did what they told me to do but still i have to confirmation email. same goes for the share center. and if you are confused on how i am logged in, click the login button at the top right page and then the pop up will show. the middle part is where you login with ganzworld. if you look to the left however there it says ” or login with your account” then it lists various games. i clicked Webkinz then a pop up showed, i entered in my password and username. thats how im logged in.
It’s possible that your email provider is blocking emails sent from GanzWorld. Have you tried using a Gmail account?
also im in FL. it would be mailing to NY i think. or wherever you mail the fan mail. anyway, that should only take a week. 2 tops. and isnt this contest open from Jun 1-30? that would be plenty of time for it to arrive
The judges are based in Toronto, so it would have to be forwarded to that office. Plus, residents of Florida are not eligible to enter this contest.
another quick question, can you give me a link to the official rules for The Pink Dalmation contest from 2015 December? cause if FL contestants werent allowed to enter in the competition then how did i, a Floridian, wound up being one of the winners?
That particular contest did not have an additional release form, so unless you volunteered that information, it would not have been known, as we do not have geo-location attached to Webkinz Newz accounts. If your location was known, you would not have been selected as one of the winners, as your entry would have been invalidated. Every single one of our contests exclude New York, Florida and Quebec.
why cant Floridians and New Yorkers enter? thats so unfair
Florida, New York and Quebec have restrictive laws regarding contests. We’d prefer to have them open to everyone.
Yay!! Another Design-a-Pet contest! Except it’s for Non-Reformation Day. Gr. I don’t celebrate halloween at all, but I guess I could design fall-themed pets. That is, if I can figure out how to improve my drawing skills! XD

Oh, by the by, I remember the winner of the last “Design a Pet” contest– the Decade Dragon– had minor changes to the template. Are we allowed to do that here as well? Say, with white out, and then drawing over it a bit. I was just wondering, because I was thinking I might want to add or change a few things here and there (e.g. notches in some of the pets’ ears, maybe give the snake a rattle, the cat a fluffier tail, etc.). Thanks! :D
