Dorothy Lou’s Top 5 Tips for the Arcade

One of my favorite ways to earn KinzCash by achieving high scores at the arcade. High scores means high piles of KinzCash! But, I haven’t always been high-earning in the arcade. It took some practice. If you’re still trying to figure out how to earn KinzCash at the arcade, here are my top 5 tips:

Arte’s Adventure in the Giant Jungle

This game is my favorite now but I haven’t always been in love with it. Even though it’s super fun, it’s easy to get stuck at the extreme long jumps that show up 2/3s of the way through the first level.

Here’s the trick:

Inch your way to the very edge of the lily pad by taking short, vertical jumps forward. Aim your cursor directly upwards in a straight line and click quickly. Arte will hop a tiny bit ahead of himself, inching his way forward until he’s balancing on the edge.

Nudge your way as far as possible with tiny jumps and then you’ll be able to land safely on the other side.

Cake It Up

This game is simple but tricky. If you don’t take a second to think about it, you might even think it’s impossible! Here’s the trick: Focus on the front corner and take your time.

If you keep your eye on the front corner and tap just as the two platforms line up, you’ll develop a rhythm. But, once that top piece of cake breaks, take a second to re-focus on the new front corner. Have some patience and after some practice you’ll see the KinzCash pile up!

Smoothie Moves

I love Smoothies Moves but this game can get stressful QUICKLY! To succeed at Smoothie Moves, practice the art of, what I call, “snapping back.”

Here’s how it works:

When you eliminate a section of ingredients, the front of the line freezes while the back of the line catches up, right? Well, don’t wait for the back to catch up! Force the front to snap backwards by shooting at it with an ingredient that matches the very end of the back line.

Once the end of the front line matches the back, your lines will snap BACKWARDS, giving you more space. It sounds a little complicated but try it out. It will make the game a lot more fun and a lot less stressful.

Home Before Dark

This game is all about making connections. The more connections you make while creating the path home, the more points you’ll earn. So, instead of trying my hardest to create paths quickly, I’ve started using my time in this game to connect as many pieces as possible, creating bulky paths, even if I don’t need those them to find home. That way, after my pets get home, I’ll earn extra points.

Extra points means extra KinzCash so try creating bulky, long paths even if it takes some extra time.

Wacky Zingoz

Saved the best for last! Who doesn’t LOVE this game?? But, it used to drive me a little nuts because I couldn’t find the Wacky sweet spot. Now, I think I’ve found it.

The trick is to line up Wacky with the vine on the tree. There’s a spot where the bottom vine winds around the tree and makes a “J” shape. When Wacky is in line with that part of the vine, take a swing!

Sound wacky? Give it a shot!

I would love to make KC with Home Before Dark, but 90% of the time, I’m waiting for the pets to stop running back and forth on the 4-way squares (up to 10-15 mins at times), and then sometimes the pet goes up to the house, but stays on the porch, they never go inside, so the game basically freezes. I have no option but to click the “X” and end the game. I’m lucky if I get to the second level. I sent in a feedback about this, but I don’t know what good that did. I’ve played it since, and same problem(s). The running around is annoying, but I can wait that out. If they don’t go in the house, they aren’t going to. I waited an hour one time, having to click the “continue” button multiple times, because the game thought I wasn’t playing. Please fix this!!!

Oddly enough, the glitches you mentioned only seem to happen on computers (at least on PCs, I’m not sure if this affects Macs). I can play Home Before Dark just fine on my iPad. This is strange to me, because I thought one of the major advantages of Next was that the computer and mobile versions are almost the exact same… Either way, I hope Home Before Dark works properly on computers soon! It’s one of my favorite games on Classic, as well!

Here are two tips I use for getting more KinzCash on Webkinz Next: For Jumbleberry Blast, choose the hardest difficulty option. (These options don’t affect the gameplay, they just involve which level you start on- and the highest difficulty puts you over halfway through the game). Not only do the later levels award more KinzCash at once, but if you make it to Level 26, don’t try and win the level. Instead, try and ALMOST beat the level, but not quite. If you have three lives by level 26, and lose all three on that same level, you’ll earn far more KinzCash than by going on to levels 27-30. My other tip is for Tile Towers. “Target Mode” awards far more points than “Classic Mode”, since the golden tiles award double points, and you only HAVE to clear the gold tiles, not any of the others, which makes “No More Moves!” harder to achieve. The Tile Towers tip works on Webkinz Classic, too!

I have something I want to add to the Next suggestion box. Could the tech team make it easier to fill each pet’s care heart on Next? Since care hearts are something that the game creators decided to continue on Next, could they work the same way as on Classic? What I mean is, on Classic I can fill my pet hearts simply by exercising them, bathing them, feeding them, playing games with them, etc. If I miss a day, I do all those things for my pet and then wait for a pet request, and then the heart is full again and I put the pet back to bed. On Next, all the care tasks don’t raise the care score, and I often have to wait a very long time to get a pet request to try to refill the care heart. Today my Next pets on my one account were all at zero because I didn’t have tons of computer time this weekend. I tried for a long time to wait for requests to come, but I don’t think I was able to get over 50 for each of 6 pets. I will try again tomorrow. I think that I can fill the care hearts of over 50 pets on my main Classic account in 1/4 the time that it would take to maybe fill 6 pets on Next. I hope that you read this comment and consider my request. Thank you for your time.

I 100% support this suggestion! Filling the hearts on Next takes so annoyingly long… Most of us players, especially kids, don’t have THAT much computer time! Not even me :p

Thanks Dorothy Lou. I was really frustrated with Wacky Zingoz, but your tip helped a lot.

Same! Dorothy Lou, your tip has finally helped me to really get somewhere in this game on Next. When my pet requested it, I dreaded it figuring that I would miss half the time as usual, but I remembered your tip, gave it a try, and it worked! Not half bad! Thank you so much!

Thank you Dorothy Lou! I was avoiding Wacky Zingoz because I missed a lot, but with your tip I got as far as 329. Still missed a few, but huge improvement. Bonus that it is game of day today.

This is unrelated to games but it is related to earning money. I cover an entire room with seeds purchased at the W shop and check when they are ready to harvest. Then I sell all the fresh vegetables back to the w shop. I earn a lot of kinzcash this way.

    • gingerdare says:

You should try selling some of them at the farmer’s market. The farmer man(?) will pay more than the W-Shop.

      • GoGanz24 says:

The farmer is a pig; I think his name is Farmer Will.

        • Beckinz8 says:

On Next, Farmer Will has been a game changer for me! I struggle to make enough KC to support the appetites of my growing webbie family, and my ongoing furniture addiction. LOL! Now, I stop by the Farmer’s Market, give Farmer Will the veggies that he is asking for, and often walk away with over 1000 KC in my pocket. Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday are my favorite days in Next just because of Farmer Will!
