We are happy to announce that early access for the browser-based version of Webkinz Classic is now available! Now you can play with your account on either the browser version or on the Desktop App – all of your data is the same, and you can go back and forth. While this is early access, most of your favorite features are already up and running. We are continuing to work on the features that are not yet available, as well as fixing bugs. We are happy to report that both TVs and the coloring book are working again on the browser version!
To use the early access browser version, visit www.webkinz.com and scroll to the bottom to click the link to the early access site.

In Treasures of the Crystal Sea, there is a bug that prevents you from winning the trophy, and it’s been that way for years. Has that bug finally been fixed on the Browser version?
Thank you for all you do! Hopefully people understand this is early access. Bugs are inevitable, and it’s our job to politely report them (while also making sure they haven’t already been reported) to help the devs!

I’m hoping this is only because it’s my first time logging in but HOLY beast to load – it makes old Next look like the speed of lightning. And just a quick check to the map and all the buttons are overlapping each other (screen sizing needs to be adaptable). I know it’s still in the works, but I will say I sure hope the desktop version is always going to be available even if all the bugs are worked out. I was so hopeful, but I’ll be patient.
Very excited for this. I’m hoping that the processing requirements won’t cause my devices to overheat (sometimes happens with Next). Will the Haunted Reading Room be available with the Early Access version?
No, the clubhouse events are not currently working on the browser version. If you follow the link, it includes a list of known issues.
Hello, please tell me what OS I need on my Mac to access this. I can not access the early access login. I’m wondering if my computer is too old.
Does it give you an error message? Does it not log in? Please let us know what OS you’re using and what happens when you click the link.
I have version 10.12.6 when I go to webkinz.com and scroll down it has Find a store, one world two games, find a store, latest news. No link to early access site
Sounds like you might have a cached version of the homepage then. We don’t restrict the link based on operating system or device. You can try opening a private or incognito mode browser, or try clearing your cache and refreshing the homepage a few times.
