Hi Webkinz Newz readers! It’s Ella McWoof, Kinzville’s resident blogger, and I’m here again with another EXCLUSIVE interview! Today we stopped by the Curio Shop and had a chat with one of Kinzville’s most fascinating citizens – Arte Fact!
Arte: Welcome to the Curio Shop, Ella.
Ella: Thanks for having me. Wow, you really do have some amazing things in here! Why did you decide to open the Curio Shop?
Arte: Well, I’ve always been interested in history and artifacts. I’ve been on a number of archaeological expeditions over the years and collected many treasures. Opening the Curio Shop was my way of sharing these exciting discoveries with the other citizens of Kinzville.
Ella: Some have said it is just too hard to find one of your special rare items in stock. What advice would you give those people?
Arte: Don’t be a stranger! Look, this isn’t the WShop, although I do offer some of the same stuff, sometimes for a much better price. It wouldn’t be a RARE item if it was easy to find, now would it? I have limited stock of those items, so you gotta be here at the right time. But I’m not gonna just tell anybody who walks through the door when that’s gonna be. I’d rather see my best customers get first crack at getting something special.
Ella: Although I understand that anyone can come here and go on a Gem Hunt in one of your mines?
Arte: That’s right. Everyone gets one visit a day. I get dibs on buying anything they find, or they can collect the gems for later. If someone gets a complete collection, I’ll make them a Crown of Wonder with those gems! You’re not gonna get that at the WShop.
Ella: I’ve heard that some people are also trading gems with Doug the Dog in the Clubhouse. Any chance of you and Doug finding a way to be friends again?
Arte: Well, that’d be up to Doug. He knows where to find me and my door is always open. He’s the one that’s made himself hard to find.
