I’m afraid your best bet would be the Trading Room or maybe the Trading Forum on Webkinz Newz, Emilygirl0422. The Hockey Bed (actually, the whole original Hockey theme) is retired, so you won’t find it in the W Shop or the Curio Shop.

Ive heard that once you reach around 100 webkinz, your account starts to really slow down, so usually webkinz staff might advise you to get a side account after that. you can still use your main account, though!

It used to be true, maybe 10 or more years ago. The way pets are loaded was changed, though, so that’s not an issue anymore.

Help! Every time I log into my webkinz account I get a piece of birthday cake. It’s not any of my pets birthdays. I want to know whats happening. Please help

That happened to me for a few weeks, but it seems to have stopped. I just thought it as free food for my pets. :-)
It just happened again! Earlier I had 6 pieces of birthday cake in my dock even though there are no birthdays today, and when I logged back on there were 8 pieces. I just now logged on again, and there were at least 12 pieces! This is happening on my Ginny868 account. If it helps, there are 7 pets with birthdays between April 20 and 29 (I keep a list). I checked my other accounts, and right now none have any unexpected birthday cake.
There are now over 30 pieces of birthday cake in my dock, and that is after each of the birthday pets got their snack.

Dear Fiona, Could you find out WHY retired items can’t be brought back? These are virtual items and should not be “retired/got rid of/etc”. Webkinz can see that many many players want some of these “retired” items, so why CAN’T they be brought back? This is not the real world. This is a game. ALL room themes should be available to all players. I hate going to the trading room. It’s stressful and disappointing most of the time.
Retired = having left one’s job and ceased to work (no longer available). There’s plenty of other things besides retired things that are cool you can get. They’ve brought back SOO many “retired/got rid of/etc” it’s not even funny, I am an old Webkinz player (1/7/8), and I’m sick of the things they’ve “retired” only to be brought back as a click-to-win prizes and whatnot, this is why I’m not an avid player anymore, I used to LOVE collecting and trading, but they’ve brought back so much I can’t keep up with whats rare and what is not.
Rainelda, I understand how you feel, but it isn’t fair that the only way newer players can get some of the “retired” items is through the Trading Room at the Club House. I’ve never had a good experience in the Trading Room. Maybe Ganz/Webkinz could think of a way to allow new players, who didn’t get a chance to get dearly wanted “retired” items, to buy them in the WShop or win them in a new challenge. I don’t begrudge any player the chance to get any item they want. After all, this is suppose to be fun for everyone.
I dislike the trading room as well at times, for the longest time before the desktop app came out i could not ask others to trade i had to be asked if i wanted to trade. I also have a lot of stuff in my dock that takes forever to filter through in each sections, so many of the traders get impatient and leave after either not getting shown what they want, they don’t want to compromise, or they are not willing to wait for me to find an item that they are wanting. It frustrates me so. When Build-A-Bear (R) virtual world was a thing they had it where you can hide and show stuff in your inventory and each player will get a chance to see what each person has and is able to select, if a player doesn’t want to trade it all they had to do was click it off the screen. This might be a think Webkinz can look into because it would make trading easier.

Dear Fiona, when will we be getting new prizes in the Spree bags? Maybe you could include retired clothing from the seasonal lines for a large prize pool! I already have tons of mall clothing but I love getting the retired clothing during Spree events!

I think lilstinky is referring to Persephone’s Shop – I agree, the inventory has not changed in a very long time – at least some of the older/retired stuff could be brought back.

Yes, BeezKneez, I am referring to Persephone’s Shop. It’s one of the perks of being a deluxe member, but I think it has been years now since anything was updated in there. Like you said, at least rotate the stock if they’re not adding anything new.
I like the idea of them rotating the stock there! it has a nice selection, but it’d also be nice to see some old items reappear there too
