How do you decide how to make all the Webkinz? Do you still make Lil Kinz?

Great question, Abri! We’ve talked about this before but I love talking about the creative process! So I asked Gennelle Webkinz, a member of the Webkinz Creative Department, for an answer. She replied: “There are two types of Webkinz that we create throughout the year. The first is plush, which is decided by our wonderful Plush Department. They take great care to design pets that have interesting patterns and fabric and that add something fresh and new to Webkinz World. The second type of Webkinz is virtual-only. You’ll find these at the eStore. The Webkinz creative team (led by Michael Webkinz, our Creative Lead, and Karl, our Creative Director) takes a LOT into consideration when we design new pets: have we made one before? Is it a much-requested fan idea? Is it unique and interesting? We have much more freedom creating virtual pets because they can look so different from the plush designs!”
It’s Fiona again! As for Lil Kinz, we stopped creating those a few years ago. If you see a Lil Kinz out in the wild, be sure to pick it up because it’s now a collectible! And sometimes the eStore will release a virtual-only Lil Kinz, like their Easter pets.

Why does Webkinz have expiring account dates?

Hi Isabella,
Thanks for your question! I have a two-part answer for you:
1) Technically the only accounts that “expire” are Deluxe Membership and Full Membership accounts, but all that means is that if you don’t renew, you become a Free member. Your account and all your items still exist. If you want to become a Full Member for another year, simply adopt another pet (other than the Dog or Cat that Free members have) or if you want to become a Deluxe Member again, head to the eStore to renew!
2) By “expire”, do you mean, “Why do accounts become archived?” That’s a different story. If a Webkinz account is left for a year or more without being logged into, then we archive it (for technical reasons, I’m told by our computer-savvy Webkinz World wizards!). If you want to use it again, simply contact our Customer Support team and they’ll revive your archived account. All your items will still be there.
How do you earn Wish Tokens?

Great question, cutiepie! There are a few ways to find Wish Tokens, which you can save up and deposit in the Wish Factory for an Exclusive item. Here are some ways to earn Tokens: receive them as a special gift, like on Christmas Day; from particular achievements; by adopting a Pet of the Month; by playing the Log Out Carnival games; and as bonus gifts, like on the Wheel of Wishes!

I’ve gotten floating objects before and I don’t know why. It wasn’t the things they have now I got it a few years ago. Just wondering has that happened to anyone else before? (It was exclusive things that came with the webkinz when you adopt) :)
I think this may have happened to me… They have random floating items all the time though. Maybe you’re just one of the lucky ones who gets really awesome exclusive items!
Why do estore items cost so many points?

hi; why did webkinz change the dock. I can’t find my new items now. don’t like it at all. and why did we (deluxe members) lose all of our rooms that we visited with our friends in. it’s not to much fun any more. I know somethings have to change, but not important ones. would really like these changes reversed please.
I figured out the dock. It’s sorted alphabetically. I personally like this way better but it is kind of hard to figure out/ get used to. I just figured it out today! (July 5, 2014)
yeah I’m not deluxe but I understand how anoying it is it’s hard to find my stuff but I’m just trying to get used to it :(
i think the ants psf should be a picnic lunch and for the psi a GIANT picnic basket!! I also think they should make a webkinz sting ray!!!

I hope they would write back. Once I finish drawing it, I’m uploading my Webkinz White Wolf to the share center. The only problem is drawing it from the side. AAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!! WHY IS IT SO HAAARD?!?!? I hope Mike and Gennelle’s idea for the Webkinz Artists to show us how to draw Webkinz makes it.
to answer your questions u can send questions to Fiona or kinz by sending your letter to the adress on the bottom of the articl but sadly kinz won’t respond but your letter might be in Fiona’s next article but if not keep trying hope this helps! PS: kinda random but if u will send me something nice back I can send anyone a deluxe watermelon swimsuit or sailors dress or butterfly hat! I’m not deluxe myself but some of my friends have kindly sent me extra deluxe clothes! if so my username is playnowpuppy

NO MORE LITTLE KINZ WEBKINZ!!!!!!!! aww I love littel kinz so much cuter then big kinz because they’re so tiny :) I was hoping u would make more little kinz but guess not :( At least now I know but it still dosen’t make me feel any better I love little kinz! I mean u can still find them but no new ones :( by the way kinz when did u anounce that kinz would make no more little kinz? or did u even anounce it? so sad :(
NOOOOOOOO!!!! Farewell, Lil’ Kinz! It’s a good thing I finished the ENTIRE lil’ kinz bird collection at age 8! I love birds! ‘>’ chirp chirp!!!
I told my friend and they FREAKED OUT because of it. But I think it’s kind of confusing with the lil kinz and the big kinz sometimes. Me and my friend used to share an account and we each got different sizes of the same type of webkinz. For example, they would get a lil kinz white poodle and a few years later i would get a big kinz white poodle. This can get VERY confusing because sometimes we forgot what size of each type of webkinz we had. That said, I am both happy (no more confusion), and sad (they were SOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!) that they don’t make lil kinz anymore.
I’m freaking out I loved little kinz and because I have so many it’s really hard to just suddenly say good bye forever :( and just so u know thewebkinzgroup little kinz are much smaller than big kinz in your house and I accepted ur friend request! well anyway here is the list of little kinz I have :( this is my list: 1 st.bernard 2 chickadee 3 cardinal 4 black poodle 5 frog 6 bullfrog 7 monkey 8 cocker spaniel 9 golden retriver 10 bulldog 11 elaphant 12 hippo 13 gold and white cat 14 koala 15 lion 16 pig 17 polar bear 18 pug 19 rabbit 20 white terrier 21 black and white cat I have 67 webkinz so sad to know my little kinz won’t be getting any more new little kinz webkinz :( u can still find them at stores just no new ones :(
I know right!!!! Lil’ Kinz are so cute. They’re still being sold everywhere where I live, so I thought they still made them and just didn’t come out with new kinds. Most of my Webkinz are Lil’ Kinz because in my opinion, they’re the cutest kind. I guess my account has more rare items than I thought! Lol :D
