I’ve asked a couple of times and so have other players, but every time it comes up Fiona and the other WKN staff always dodge the question and avoid giving a good answer: How do I get a job working for Webkinz? Is there an application I can fill out? – LeoGrimm
Well, LeoGrimm, most jobs in Webkinz World require that you reside in Kinzville… but if you’d like to get a job working for Ganz Studios (the creators of Webkinz World), you’ll have to watch the job boards for job postings and submit your resume and cover letter when you find a position that’s related to your skills. We are based out of Woodbridge, Ontario (just north of Toronto), so you’ll need to be based nearby, too. Good luck!

Hi, bagelbites660… I’m sorry to say that there will not be any way to switch back to the old version of Webkinz World, especially not now. The old version of Webkinz World used very old code, which is not compatible with the technology being used to put Webkinz World on mobile devices. With Flash being discontinued, there would be nothing to keep that site going, even if it still existed somewhere.

Will we ever be able to rename our webkinz?
YES SugarP, I sure hope one day we can, I have used the same name 2x by mistake and would love to change one of them, plus I have tons of small rooms that I would love to get rid of!! PLEASE PLEASE Webkinz if it can be done!!

Hi Fiona having trouble with winning some badges. The stadium don’t sweat badge keep getting more than 10 1st places I day and still badge. The foreman builder badge don’t seem to come up either. Also your doing a great job!
Hey Fiona, is the share center not accepting any more rooms? I’ve tried entering the underwater room contest at least five times (each on a different day, somewhat spaced out; also tried sending it resized to 284kb) since one of the first days the contest started, but I still haven’t even gotten an email back saying that the image has been received to be moderated (no, it’s not in the junk folder), and the room has yet to be added to the gallery or my share center. Does anyone know why this is? Room designing is by far my favorite thing to do in webkinz world, and it’s rather discouraging that there isn’t a way to even enter the contest.
Hey, Fiona! Will the Clubhouse for KinzChar Plus ever be available for mobile users? This is a question many of us have with the transition away from Flash. The social aspect of Webkinz is very important to many of the active users. Also, will we ever be able to invite friends over to share our fabulous rooms? That function doesn’t even work for web-based users now.
Yes! I want to know the answer to both of these questions. I’ll be really sad if they don’t have the KinzChat+ Park or Clubhouse when they transition over to mobile only. =(
Yes, same here! Being able to chat with friends in KinzChat Plus is one of my favorite parts of Webkinz World, so I’d really like to know if they plan on keeping the KinzChat Plus park and clubhouse when they transition to mobile only…I’d be very upset, if they didn’t! D:
Good question, kitterztoo! Being someone who really enjoys chatting with friends in the Clubhouse and Kinzville Park, I would be absolutely devastated if the feature doesn’t get transferred over to mobile! >.< I don't know what I'd do! XP However, back when AW was still around, Ganz did have a fully-functioning chat system on its mobile app, which does give me hope that they’ll be able to eventually put it on the Webkinz app, too. The AW graphics were a lot more complicated than the ones on Webkinz… if they could figure out how to add it on that game, I’m sure they could do so on this one! I have faith that the Ganz team will find a way ;)
Bagelbites660, your question was what was on a lot of our minds, I can say that much. Fiona, thank you for answering it. It is sad when we have to say goodbye to something as wonderful as our original Webkinz World. I recall so many things about it, but also at this point, I would rather move forward. I recall when Webkinz World would shut down at night and we had to wait till 10 am to get back on and how Arte would let you buy as many Curios as you could afford (and believe me, that wasn’t very many). I recall when Flush Toilets and working sinks were introduced, when we got our first Christmas themed furniture and when they retired the hockey theme. I recall the introductions of many animals, Music Starz, and the ExtravaGanza’s Nationwide. Standing in line at the local Shop that had Free Webkinz for kids and games to play for other items. Then there was the Ganz Touring Van and Webkinz Jr and ‘Mazin’ Hamsters. So many things have happened because of Ganz and Webkinz and it was sad to see these things stop, but exciting to see new things take their place, like the eStore and Webkinz Newz. Sure we lost some stuff along the way, but there is so much ahead of us! I keep watching because I want to be there when they do the switch. I hope most of the people I have come to know will be here, too. But if they aren’t, there will always be a friend I haven’t met, yet ;)
