As reported in an earlier post on October 25, v.49 had a known Flash issue causing slowness and visual errors.
Mozilla has now released Firefox v.50 which has resolved these issues. If your version of Firefox has not already updated automatically, here is how to update it manually:
- Click the menu button
, click help 
and select About Firefox. - The About Firefox window will open and Firefox will begin checking for updates and downloading them automatically.
- When the updates are ready to be installed, click Restart Firefox to Update.
Good to know! I use chrome so I haven’t been experiencing problems.
So….. question – are you going to let us know when the incompatibility has been resolved? I love my firefox. :(
Interesting note, I use Chrome and still have issues with slowness and visual errors while playing Webkinz. Anyone know what might be the problem?
This is what I use for Webkinz because Google Chrome doesn’t work on my computer and Internet explore is worse than Firefox. Thank you for realizing the issue and telling us about it, Ganz. I’ll probably do this for my computer next time I play Webkinz. :)
help! my webkinz account won’t let me spin the heel of deluxe and I am a deluxe member too it also freezes a lot and I cant open the things to do bar
If you are using Edge, please try Chrome. If you aren’t using Edge, try hiding your dock
If I hide my dock my dock gets frozen and then I can’t open it

Aha! That makes sense! I haven’t played on Firefox for a while due to lag issues on Webkinz X, but every time I log on when Chrome isn’t cooperating, it says the 3D something-or-other isn’t working and won’t let me play. At least I know that Firefox’s acting up isn’t unusual. Thank you for the head’s up! :) I’ll be sure to pass the message along to MY Firefox…although I don’t know what browser he uses on his laptop. XD
Hey! Do YOU have a Webkinz Fox? Or any kinds of foxes in that matter? I have 2. My Rockerz Fox, Hey Ocean, and my Moon Fox, Echo.
I have two Webkinz foxes! I have a Sun Fox (named Firefox) and a Fennec Fox (named Erwin). And hopefully, I’ll be able to add a Sweetheart Fox to my pet list! (I’ve missed her two years in a row) You have a Rockerz Fox AND a Moon Fox? Lucky! I think the Moon Fox is awesome! :D

Hmm, that’s odd…well, I guess it’s a good thing I use Safari, then. (Oh, and by the way, the Firefox logo thing is SO cute!! ^_^ For the longest time I didn’t know it was a fox. :P)
It’s a fox?! I just thought it was a blur slapped on the blue coloring. :P
Same here about the logo ilovemoonie! Hah. Well, I think I might try to get an earlier version of Firefox, hopefully then Webkinz will be quicker for me.
Yeah I think I figured out that it was a fox too a little bit before I began my fox obsession XD
Interesting…I updated Flash on my Safari and now it won’t let me play. I can ONLY play it on Firefox!
Check your plug-ins on Safari — Apple has been turning off the Flash plug-in by default, so you may need to manually enable it.
