To be honest, ALL the ads on Webkinz are driving me nuts…it wasn’t this bad a few years ago. It is so tacky to me to see ads for every other compnay under the sun on Webkinz, Webkinz Newz… there are 5-10 ads PER PAGE. This is like holding my kids hostage, don’t we all have a fit how much advertising is poured into their eyes on TV and how they are marketed to overly much? Webkinz shuld make enough money selling Webkinz, and if you do a search on Ganz they have a whole home-decor department..this is NOT all they do. We have a Deluxe account and even that didn’t get rid of these nonstop ads…most sites do that if you ‘pay’ to have a better access. The site has gone downhill…it’s as if Webkinz just uses the site as a marketing venue now..it’s one long informercial to buy buy buy. I am sick of it
When I first started using Webkinz, they said that they had no third party (not Ganz) ads on the site. Now, they are promoting a movie not only on WKN, but INSIDE Webkinz! Even though I turned off third party ads, these still show up! Yes, the prizes are cool, but Ganz is teaching kids to click on internet ads and rewarding them for doing so! When I first started going online, one of the most important rules was ‘Don’t Click Internet Ads.’ This is probably going against the internet ruels of many famalies. Now the ‘Hop before dark’ game is too much. Please, Ganz; don’t promote anymore movies. Kids see enough commercials on T.V. and other sites. Don’t add to it.

I think that ganz should re-open the hop bunny pet contest so that Canadians (and everyone else that wasn’t included in the american contest) can have a bunny too. Who’s with me on this?!
