A Preview of our Upcoming Feature
For the last couple of months we’ve teased images of pets running on the beach, swimming in the ocean and catching rays in the tropics. Well no more teasing, we’re ready to announce that Vacations are coming to Webkinz Next!
Why Vacations? For your family! Our Webkinz Next players have created wonderful families, by sparking new babies and raising them to kids, then to full grown and by adding new pets such as our popular River Otter. Players have earned great amounts of Family Score, showing their dedication to caring for their family of pets. Yet Webkinz features outside of the home have always been for one pet at a time. Your family lives together, now it’s time to play together!
When Vacations arrive, you’ll be able to go to the Travel Agency in Kinzville and take up to four pets plus one baby pet to our first vacation destination… the Seaside Resort!
You’ll be in full control of your family. Your current pet will lead the others around, and you can switch who is the lead at anytime. Want to catch some rays? Hop onto a lounge chair on the beach and your family will hop onto the chairs beside you, for some relaxing family time.
And what would a tropical vacation be without swimming? Head into the ocean or resort pool and your whole family will swim together, even your baby, pushed on an inflatable floatie!
The Seaside Resort is big enough for lots of families! Yes, vacations are fully social. Chat, trade, even swim together. It’s a perfect place to head to with friends and their families.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be previewing more of the great features that will be available at the Seaside Resort in preparation for the launch of this exciting new feature.

Wow!! I had my suspicions they were going to add Vacation Island when I saw the unique graphics of the pets swimming!! Now I know! =^^=
Whoa. A family of 4, plus a baby swimming together in the ocean, with the baby on a floatie!?! My jaw literally dropped! AND we will be able to socialize with other pet families?!? I am excited to see how this works!
