Based on feedback from our Deluxe members, and statistics about how KinzChat is used, we determined that the Deluxe gold color zone wasn’t receiving significant usage – in fact, we heard from our Deluxe members that they often felt it was getting in the way of reaching the other color zones. For these reasons, we’ve removed the gold zone from the KinzChat cell phone.
I want my Deluxe Membership money refunded. Having the Gold Zone was part of the “contract”. We paid for it. Bring it back.
Oh boy do i have a lot i could say about this! FIRST , there are NO deluxe members or anyone else from what i’ve heard who was informed about this “so called” survey you speak of. SECOND, i decided to become deluxe less than a WEEK AGO, and i read through all the benefits it comes with, and was interested in the GOLD ZONE as part of the package for buying deluxe. now after being deluxe for less than a week, i am EXTREMELY angered that you just delete the gold zone without anyones knowledge and if that wasn’t bad enough, you then put yellow first on the color zone lists to try and make it seem like it is gold! How DISHONEST is that?? Is this where ganz is going with their company, to be dishonest and rip their customers off? This is just another aweful practice they have done that makes me not want to purchase anything of theirs. and when my deluxe expires i am NOT renewing EVER….you have lost my trust as a customer GANZ.
I am a Deluxe member and I was not a part of any survey. I use the Gold zone on a daily basis and consider it a part of the package I paid for when purchasing my Deluxe membership. If we had been given advance notice that the feature might be removed, and given the option for a refund of our remaining months of Deluxe membership, then it would be a different thing. However, removing it without notice, when it was part of the advertised package when we purchased our Deluxe memberships, is just wrong. How much server space could this feature have taken? Why not fix some of the glitches, Ganz? My donut seeds never show when they’ve been raked or harvested – and have been that way for well over a year now. Yet you remove something that WAS working rather than fix something that wasn’t. Great business sense – What happened to “The customer is always right”? That’s definitely NOT Ganz’s point of view.
I think the ‘survey’ is just an excuse for the real reason…which is that it was easier to delete Gold than it was to fix the issues associated with the phones. Sad that you are deleting something that has already been prepaid for a year for many of us…can you ‘breach of contract”….!!! I bought a service and you have deleted part of the service…what do I and all the other deluxe members get as compensation? Perhaps you should rethink this…it may be a short term ‘fix’ for a problem you don’t want to fix, but 3 zones with millions of users equals far bigger problems in the future. HELLO…is anybody thinking long term at GANZ??? Bandaids don’t work for big gashes…stitch the real problem…
NOt sure where you get your information form Deluxe members… I am a deluxe member and nobody asked me if I used teh Gold Zone…. BUT since you have removed it, let me express my DISAPPOINTMENT Ganz. I used Gold every single day… on several Deluxe accounts…. it was less busy and loaded more quickly… I believe that the Deluxe memberships should come as advertised when I pulled out my credit card and made my purchase. SHAME ON YOU GANZ!!
I understand gold may have been underused, but have your techs come up with a solution for the logjam in the clubhouse during Ghost Hunt, Christmas SantaKinz visits, and Leprechaun hunt? Many people couldn’t get in the clubhouse before, and now you are offering HALF of the zones?! I foresee more server crashes in Ganz’s future. I’m glad you all were thinking long term.
I was seriuouly considering going bact to being a duluxe member in the two accounts i had let it expire in. Now that is not going to happen, i my own deluxe account the only zone i ever used was the gold zone and i also was not asked about how often i used it (try every single day).
With ony 3 zones it is harder to catch Doug the Dog & trade gems. They should have Doug appear in each zone more than just once per day. (At the very least, stop having him appear during the school / work day!)
I see so many comments from ACTUAL deluxe members on here. ARE YOU LISTENING???? I hope so. I know I won’t be buying anymore deluxe memberships until you 1. bring back the Gold Zone. or 2. make this right by giving us a substitute perk that we ALREADY PAID FOR!!!
one reason i bought deluxe was for the gold zone. it was offered to us as a perk, and now it is taken away with out notice. how unfair webkinz.
