BIG NEWS! Our popular Webkinz arcade game GOOBER’S LAB can now be played on your Apple or Android mobile device!
But instead of releasing it as part as the Webkinz mobile app arcade, we’re making it the first in an upcoming series of standalone games! This means you can download the game from the App Store or the Google Play Store and then play it without ever having to log in to your Webkinz account.
You can still earn KinzCash by playing the game, and at the end of each game, you can then choose to log in and send the KinzCash you earned during that single play to any account!
*PLEASE NOTE: Your mobile device will need to have an internet connection in order to send KinzCash to an account, and you have to send it at the end of each game, otherwise it won’t be saved.
*PLEASE ALSO NOTE: The Goober’s Lab Trophy cannot be won in this standalone version of the game.
The mobile version looks just like the classic web game, with some minor layout updates for mobile screens, along with many major technical upgrades to make it work faster and better than ever before!
Goober has spent so many years in his lab that he no longer remembers what formula he’s looking for. You can help!
Make lines of three or more atoms to help Goober with his formula. Longer lines are worth more points. Four in a row creates an unstable atom. Five in a row creates a bonus atom.
Fill Goober’s beaker to complete a level. If you run out of time, it’s game over!
This new version of Goober’s Lab will be coming to Webkinz.com and the Webkinz mobile app sometime in the near future, but if you’ve ever wanted to play the game without having to log into your account, or you just want to earn KinzCash for someone, then you’ll love to play this way!
Want even MORE of your Webkinz arcade favorites as standalone mobile games? Stay tuned to Webkinz Newz to learn about which games we’ll be releasing next!
Download the standalone version of Goober’s Lab for 99 cents (USD) from the App Store or the Google Play Store.
GO SCIENCE!

YAY!!! If they’re spending time & resources on making new stand alone games, that must mean the new Webkinz computer app must be all done & ready for when Flashplayer ends in 2020. Right?
Wanted to comment on this post again to say, are our high scores transferred to our Webkinz Accounts as well? Thanks!
PLEASE GANZ, re-release Mazin’ hamsters as a stand-alone PC game, I’d love to play it again.
Yes! And tail tow friends and webkinz friends!
I got really excited that we could send our points to our friends. That way if one of our friends was really low in KC a group of people could all play and send the points to that person. But then I read and saw the problem with that…. you have to have the password for the account you are sending it to. Most people don’t want to share their password… and it is against the rules for safety sake. Quite frankly I used to but I would no longer do so (except with immediate family .. I have 9 accounts and if they asked to play I would let them) Is there a way to make it so that we can send the points without needing the password and all it does is allow us to send the points… it won’t give us access to that account? Is that something that one of the Ganz geniuses could do for us?? PLEASE!!!!
Aw, but being able to collect a thousand kinzcash before deciding who needed it the most (especially if a rare item was for sale right then) was the best part about the standalone app :(
