**UPDATE (Feb. 3, 4:25PM EST)** If you have fewer than 650 pets, it’s now safe to adopt your pet at the Adoption Center.
Recently some players have reported not being able to adopt new pets at the Adoption Center. When an error occurs, one of the following will happen:
1) After you enter the pet’s name, you get a server error.
2) After you fail to adopt a pet, you also can’t log into your account.
3) If a bad word is attempted as a pet name, the adoption process stops but you don’t receive an error message.
It appears that these issues are only affecting accounts with a very large number (200+) of pets. If you do run into one of these issues, please don’t adopt any new pets just yet and contact Customer Service to allow access to your accounts.
Ganz is actively working on fixing these issues. We’ll post another announcement when the issues are resolved.

We have two that have over 100 in them and because of loading problems, we decided to start new accounts. Sounds like that is the better plan!
If you have 200 plus pets how can you get rooms for them? I think you should make another account to adopt
my friend had trouble adopting her 3rd pet
so dumb of me adopted the pet of the month hoping it would be okay now so i am locked out now!! Please fix this fast.

This is true on my account. I just got a new pet from the estore today and the code won’t go in. It freezes when you hit the next button during the adoption. Kinda makes it so people aren’t going to trust buying products that aren’t working anyway. Especially with virtual only items that you get no physical real world item with. If you get no pet in webkinz world, you pretty much get nothing at all with a virtual item :(
Yes, this problem is real and feels just awful when it happens to you!…This am I adopted a new pet and now cannot access my account at all!! I have reported the problem via email and am currently awaiting a reply/fix. I agree this is a terrible time to not have access….the really unnerving thing is that I first tried reporting it via Customer Service link and it cannot even recognize my correct user info to allow that message to go through (that is when I called the eStore and then sent the email). But anyway, YIKES!! Major!! Hopefully they will find a way to help us make up for whatever happens while we cannot access our accounts….and hopefully they can get us each back on quickly until the overall problem is resolved. Also, I have had the problem with room names–good for you flutterfre as I have not been able to use the word studio no matter how many times I try…(luckily I had an old room with the word in it, so I do have one studio!)…Also the name thing is odd as well–just does not like some words (clean words) and the first time I encountered this my pet who was supposed to be named Lana Lang is now named “man.” I cannot even tell you how it happened as that was not my doing. And as others have commented, the names seem permanent…I pled for Customer Service to please change this since it was not my choice or fault, to no avail…well good luck friends… ;)
I was given two tawny pet gift boxes for no reason and they are still there.
This is an old known issue as well. There was an article regarding the Tawny Puppy gift boxes awhile ago. Maybe check the “Newz/Archives” for more or do a google search with that question. I also have a few of those boxes in my dock as well.
i’m thinking of making a new ganzworld account. my sis really wants the prizes you can get on here, so i would hook it up to my sisters webkinz account. the username would be… (drumroll please) bluebox! the reason? well, think of blue boxes… my sister is a doctor who fanatic. she is OBSESSED with doctor who. so, bluebox seems good. plus, if she went on here and saw a post by somone called bluebox, she wouldn’t know who is was (i want her account to be a secret, LOL). if you ever see a post by bluebox, it might be me! just mabye. i’ll tell you if i do make an account. oh, and awsomedragonswagirl1, tell snow i said hi! >~pop~<
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to link accounts in a way that would let you transfer items back and forth from one overloaded account to another? I mean without having to pay the kinzpost fee or be restricted to 3 items a day? Just a dream, but wish it was so!!
I’m a long time player and offer this advice for room/ dock and adoption issues: There is a KNOWN inherent issue will accounts that have 200+ rooms and 200+ pets. Not well publicized until the POTM and Retiree adoptions meant that more and more accounts were beginning to reach the “breaking point”. That said, in your standard furnished rooms have no more that 8 pets. Visit the rooms you notice most new pets end up in when adopting a pet to ensure they still load effectively. If not, relocate pets from that room. For rooms used as storage – do not block any space where a door exists or may exist in the future to avoid access issues. Use refrigerators for food items, storage cabinets for small objects and clothing and room storage for the rest. BE CAREFUL what you sell, tomorrow it may be retired!!! (IMO, Deluxe Members should get advanced notice of retirements of all kinds!) As far as docks, 100 items or less is not realistic. Why offer so many items and pets if one cannot enjoy them ALL in one account? However, do work day by day to reduce the items you have in your dock. I always open my dock BEFORE I do an adoption and clear what I can. Hope all is well with my ‘kinz palz out there! All the best from Kinzmaven, Coolector, Poleabear and Masronamia.
