Having Trouble Logging In? Try These Solutions!

 

If you’re having problems logging into Webkinz.com, there are two important things to try that can help you successfully log in.

 

1) Clearing your cache.

 

You’ve probably heard other Webkinz players mention this! “Clearing your cache” means to clear your browser history of “cookies”, which are tiny pieces of information that your browser automatically stores from websites you visit, as well as “temporary internet files”. By clearing your cache, you can properly see updates we’ve made to the site–and it can help you successfully log in. Here’s how to clear your cache on the 3 most common browsers.

 

Chrome

 

a) Open Chrome and click the Options button (3 horizontal lines at top right of browser). Choose “History”.

 

 

b) Once opened, click “Clear browsing data”.

 

 

c) Once opened, select “Cookies and other site and plugin data” and “Cached images and files”, and click “Clear browsing data”.

 

 

d) Open Webkinz.com and try logging in again!

 

Firefox

 

a)  Open Firefox and click the Options button (3 horizontal lines at top right of browser). Choose “History” (see below) and then “Clear Recent History” (not pictured).

 

 

b) Select “Cache” from the list and then click “Clear now”.

 

 

c) Open Webkinz.com and try logging in again!

 

Internet Explorer

 

a) Open Internet Explorer and choose “Tools”, then “Delete Browsing History”.

 

 

b) Select “Temporary Internet Files” and “Cookies” from the list and click “Delete”.

 

c) Open Webkinz.com and try logging in again!

 

 

If you’re using any other browser, the process to clear your cache should be similar.

 

 

2) Deleting your old Webkinz.com bookmarks.

 

Even if you’re able to clear your cache and log in, accessing Webkinz.com from a bookmark that predates Webkinz X (for example, before July 8, 2015), may cause login problems because it’s pulling up an old version of Webkinz.com. We recommend deleting that bookmark and creating a new one.

 

Another tip? Please make sure your Flash Player is updated to the latest version. Flash releases frequent updates and having the latest version will improve your Webkinz playing experience.

    Is anyone else experiencing the wishing well draining the energy level 10 points a spin, or is it just me and my sister?

    Other then the furniture glitches they are working on. My sister and I can neither play the Star Challenge in the magic forest. The only other issue I have is that it logs me out if I try to put 3 of any alike berry in Jumble Berry and I get logged out. Is this unique to my computer or log in. Or Webkinz wide

    i don’t have chrom i have a apple computer and the new webkinz is annoying looks like webkinz x stands for xtreamly annoying :-(

    For some months I have not been able to log into the iphone apps – CashCow 2 and Goober’s Lab. (Webkinz app works fine). I upgraded to the new IOS yesterday but that didn’t make a difference; I still cannot log in to upload Wcash earned on those apps. Have they been discontinued?

    I have been having trouble logging on, missing parts of my furniture in my room & from my dock, been getting logged out in the arcade, & missing my clothes from both accounts, & alot of things missing from my dock. I am seriously considering leaving Webkinz World, it’s not fun anymore & too much work! You really messed up a good thing!

      I haven’t lost anything, but I have been struggling to keep up with everything they added. I just wish my pet wasn’t hungry all the time.. Is this what it’s like to have real children? lol

      I totally agree with you. I’m having the same issues. I have trouble logging in, then when I get on it freezes, logs me out, or is really slow. Missing items. I don’t know why they had to mess it up for. I like it better the other way. Its really confusing now. I was thinking about giving webkinz because of it.

      I agree I Iost a pet! Many of the furniture items are just grey squares so you don’t you what they are to use them

    There should also be a ”Having trouble getting into the clubhouse” one. Like seriously, every. single. time. it doesn’t work the first time! Always says not connected or whatever. Sometimes it even makes me try 3 times to get in the clubhouse. Would um, appreciate it if you guys FINALLY fixed the issue. Its been there for over a year I think.

      Okay I have my glitches to name here too..: My energy bars go way down all the way when I wish on the Wishing Well 2, I can’t use Kinzchat nor KinzchatPlus anywhere, my Signature White Bengal Tiger has four eyes when it looks at me (lol), and I don’t know.. other stuff with the bars. I’m also wondering when Pet Actions will be back and if/when the clothing on pets will be fixed. It usually looks distorted or I can see my pet’s leg/arm/thigh when I put a dress, pants, or a shirt on. My pet’s don’t usually wear clothes anyway, (unless it my main pet) but I would like this and other glitches to be fixed soon. Thanks! I still love Webkinz! I just hope my Signature White Tiger’s eyes will be fixed soon.. It’s kinda creepy. xD

        I just have no idea where my Mazin’ Hamsters went. Hmm. I also have my pet’s energy bar go way down when wishing at the Wishing Well 2. Also, their hunger CRASHES while sleeping, along with their Pet Care Heart. These glitches will be fixed soon, I’m sure. I am so far liking the Webkinz X deal. But some kinks need to be ironed out. I’m patient though! ;)

          Guys, I recommend never putting your pet to sleep until their bars go down to less than half. Once those are down, then buy some eggs, ramen, or apples to fill up their hunger bar.

      People in a thread recently complained of still not even being able to log in since the change. That noted, I wanted to add, clearing data did not do it for me with chrome –and chrome is currently the only browser my computer supports right now, so without it, I can’t get in at all, either. Here is what I had to do: type “chrome:plugin” in the bar to access chrome plug-ins. In the top right corner, click “Details”. Scroll down until you get to the details about Flash Player. The last line has a check box in front of “Always allowed to run”. Check this box. (If it is already checked, try unchecking it, and check it again.) After I did this, I was FINALLY able to log in.

        Just wanted to add that the password scrambling on Chrome log-ins is a huge problem. I took them all out, and added them back one by one, and by the time I made my second nightly round of log-ins, they were already switching up again. It did not do this before the change, so this has to be yet another Webkinz X problem, so please get it fixed. And the kinzpost. Packages are still showing up missing items, and the missing items are then gone from BOTH accounts, lost in cyberspace. This is not cool.

      I’ve had no trouble logging in at all. The only time I had trouble was when it first came out and they were still adding stuff. I don’t think we were even supposed to be able to go on then anyway, though. (Wow that last sentence doesn’t flow very well.. lol)

        This is cute. Of course we all clear the cache when there’s a problem. I think it’s more the problem of everything freezing once you finally get logged on. Regardless of browser, I have not seen the ‘new and improved’ side of Webkinz X.

          I disagree. I don’t think you should downside Ganz so much when they worked so hard. Also, not everyone knows that you need to clear cache or know how to. Webkinz pretty much never freezes for me and when it does you just ‘X’ it out and log back in. It really is not that hard to do and hardly ever happens.

            You’re soooo right, I’ve never had troubles when I’ve logged in, and I agree 100% Ganz worked very hard to solve theme.. So I’m pretty sure all the problems will be solve with success in the future. :}

            I haven’t had issues logging in either, but I haven’t gotten my daily food prize that leads to the weekly prize for 8 days now :( Although that feature works fine on my second account…. Also was there a deluxe gift box this month? I didn’t get one ????

            I am glad that not everybody is having issues, but many of us are. Out of the six accounts in my family I am the only one unable to log in. And I am not trying to downside Ganz when I am unhappy about it- the reason most people who cannot log in make a big deal about it is because we WANT to be able to play on Webkinz. Also, I paid for Deluxe Membership for a reason and I would love to be able to use it. After doing this on my Mom’s computer, I was finally able to get in. It does not freeze anymore, just sometimes loads slowly, so while there are still problems it is much better. The only place I am having a problem logging in now is on my tablet. The people having problems with the site are supposed to mention it, because it is not helpful to Ganz for them to simply stop playing instead of giving feedback.

          I agree that some may not know they need to clear cache. However i clear my multiple times daily. Webkinz still freezes more than is usable-especially in the middle of games. I agree about problem getting in clubhouse and when i do get in my chat won’t work. The lettering on the house map is so large half of names have disappeared. The dock items are so small you can’t tell what they look like and for those of us who have vision problems (corrected as much as possible with glasses) it’s almost impossible to read the number of items u have. I truly hope things get better because i enjoyed webkinz before all the glitches.

        I’m not having problems logging in, but at least I’ll know I can find out how to fix the problem if it ever occurs. However, I have another confusing problem: I don’t know if it was a change coming along with Webkinz X, or if it’s an error, but my Mazin’ Hamsters are nowhere to be found. I have two hamsters that I can use in MAZIN’ Hamsters itself, but I can’t use them in Webkinz. Can someone tell me if this is a new change, or if it’s going to be fixed if it is, in fact, an error?

      Hey Ganz can you fix the Pet Care Heart Glitch? Every time I get them up to 100% they drop to Zero the next day, what happen to them dropping down 25%? Please and Thanks

        Yes, please! Mine are doing the same thing – only sometimes I notice the pet I left on drops down not all the way, but all the others are at zero every morning.
