Introducing the NEW KinzPost!

The KinzPost Office has long been a fun and important part of Webkinz World, and now we’re introducing some updates to make it even better!

You can now access the KinzPost from anywhere, without leaving your current location. Just select the KinzPost Office from your Things to Do menu and (just like the WShop) it will appear as a window on top of your current screen.

You can also open the KinzPost Office by using the updated button at the top right of your screen in your pet’s home.

We’ve also combined all of the different KinzPost elements into a single screen. Now your inbox, sending a note, gift, or postcard is just a single tab click away.

The best thing about the new KinzPost Office is that sending notes and gifts are completely FREE! You no longer have to pay any KinzCash when sending notes and gifts to a friend. While sending a note is available to everyone, you will still need at least a Full Membership (by adopting a pet) in order to send a gift. Deluxe Members will also have access to sending postcards, with new scene and stamp options coming soon!

What we have made available to everyone, is the ability to save a copy of any piece of KinzPost mail directly to your photo gallery. Click on the Save button, and just like your pet’s room, you’ll be able to keep a copy on your computer wherever you like.

To help players figure out which items can be sent through KinzPost, you’ll now only see the sendable items appear in an active state while your KinzPost Office window is open. Items that cannot be sent will appear in an inactive (or semi-transparent) state while the KinzPost Office window is open.

Sending notes and mail is easier than ever! There’s no more need to switch between screens for each step. You can choose all of your options from one single screen.

The new and improved KinzPost will also be coming very soon to the Webkinz mobile app, after our next app update! Soon you’ll be able to send and receive all of your Webkinz KinzPost mail while on the go!

We hope you have a marvelous time with your mail in Webkinz World!

Is anyone else experiencing technical issues with the new system?

I am still getting used to the new mail. It worked for the first few days but for the past 2, I can choose my items and the reason I’m sending them, but I have not been able to choose a name to send to. Is there a glitch?

I am still waiting for the packages that I lost with this new system to be restored which is something Betty Butter Ganz promised. And my mailing list is in such scrambled order that it is hard to find the person I want to send to.

I love that it doesn’t cost anything to send mail or gifts anymore–thank you! Fiona is adorable, I just love how she puts the mail in her bag and flies off–so cute!

I do not like it all: you do not know how much you have to pay for cards or parcel? Where are the prices?

    • Alphaowlbear says:

The article explains that all sending all Kinzpost messages and packages are FREE, even with stationary, stickers, or fancy wrapping paper.

    • TRINSTER says:

I’m pretty sure they are free now. Ganz wouldn’t charge you mystery amounts. Next time, write down your KC total, send a card or gift, and then check. I bet the totals will be the same.

I think it is terrific! I had not read anything about it, but I had mail in my mail box and simply clicked on it. It was wonderful because it seemed to be so self explanatory. So I hoped I had guessed right. Anyway the mail was delivered!! And I returned some mail also Thanks webkinz, I never dreamed of changing how we send or received mail. this is wonderful, again I say.

it’s ok i guess, i really enjoyed the animated smiley though but i like the new stickers as well. Some of them i’m not sure what they are (too small) i will look again.. :)

No, it’s not amazing, it’s horrible. It might be some degrees more convenient, but the graphics you keep changing stuff to are horrific and jarring to my sensory issues. Also, you’re going to do another run of the Snow Ferret, right? You have to. Please! I can’t miss this pet. Pleeeeease run another batch!!!!! That is sold out in less than a week should tell you how many people want it.

here’s my deal: HOW DO WE DELETE NAMES WE DO NOT WANT ON OUR LIST? This was possible in the old system (plus they were in alpha order which at least made sense!!!!!) For now, I have written to CS requesting assistance, but I would prefer to use their time more wisely & still be able to do this myself! Thanks, k.

You’ll need to use the KinzChat phone to remove people from your friends list — that hasn’t changed.

    • George1967 says:

Generally good, but I do hope you address some pretty essential issues in the next update. The non-alphabetical list of names combined with the outrageous speed with which the scroll bar reviews these makes actually FINDING your intended contacts a nearly impossible task. And since you are still working out kinks on this new mail feature, it would be incredibly helpful if on our phone the active/inactive status of your friends list is instantly visible (possibly even the last time they logged on). Long time members have incredibly long friend lists which could easily be pared down if such information were immediately accessible. That way, on holidays I know who to send gifts/posts to, and who has been a long time inactive player that I can delete from my contact list. Thanks!

      • TRINSTER says:

I like that idea of seeing if your friends are even active any more! I’m never sure who to ask when I’m working on building projects, etc. It would be great if there was a way to see if our gifts or letters had been opened, too. That would tell us a lot.

      • ImaPepper says:

Here’s an idea for determining who on your long list of friends is still active: since it is free to send gifts, you could send a gift to EVERYONE on your friends list. Something small, that you have in abundance–Farm Fresh produce, for example. Anyone who is not active will not open their gift; and after 30 days your gift will be returned to you. So, although you could be waiting for thirty days, all the returned gifts will let you know who you should delete from your friends list. The other thing you could do is to send requests for building materials if you have building kits to finish. You would need to make note of who you sent requests to and who responds. Or you could keep an eye on the family scores of your contacts–if they don’t move in a month they probably don’t play anymore.
