Cute style! I encourage every aspiring artist out there to experiment with their own styles and techniques. :) See what you like and be original!

  2. SignatureIsland says:

I really need to catch up! I haven’t even done the Let’s Draw Wacky one yet… This one’s pretty cool… keep up the awesome videos Maurizio!

  3. gcate7 says:

Where’s his nostrils? Oh and one more thing boo dulucx (I don’t know if that’s how you spell it).

    • _emiemiemiemiemi_ says:

Deluxe? yeah, you have to be Deluxe to go to vacation island now. But anyway, nice drawing of Sheldon! I surely can not draw that well on a computer. I always want you to color it in, though! To me things always look plain with no color. =P It’s a good drawing anyhow.

    • renfroekid2201 says:

      It’s Deluxe!

Hey CatHeart! Just wanted to say HI for no reason. I have a S.T.E.M. class (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) tomorrow night. My friend calls it S.T.E.A.M. though because of the “and” part. She’s crazy :P hehe. How you doing? I got a Signature Cougar for my B-day and named her Carli Cougar Lloyd. I also went to Connecticut yesterday and went to a huge store called “Cabela’s” Google cabela’s connecticut and the picture with the big mountain in the middle is the one I went too. It’s like a hunting store!

    Yay! Another Let’s Draw!!!!!!! :D

  10. vita1961 says:

Cool. But I don’t really draw webkinz characters.

    • Pokekinz says:

Yeah, I usually draw my own Webkinz. It a completely different style than this, too.

      • CaramelKisses33 says:

I know, my style is my own as well.

        • Ikawolf says:

Be proud of your own style! Work on it to hone your artistic skills. So glad to see artists embracing their creativity. I’d love to see you guys post art on the share center.

          • Fracktail says:

Hear, hear! The best way to develop your own style is to draw until your hand turns into a pencil. Okay, so maybe that doesn’t happen. But drawing a whole bunch is a good thing. I love how different artists have different styles because two people can draw the same thing and yet it still looks totally different!

        • MandevillaRed says:

My style is as follows: grab a pencil. sit there for a while trying to think of what to draw. give up. doodle. get inspiration! try to draw. fail. give up, and go away. XD

          • Fracktail says:

How I learned how to draw! Step one: Pick up pencil. Step 2: Put pencil on paper. Step 3: Proceed to make some lines that look like things. Step 4: Repeat for 14 years.

        • Pokekinz says:

I just do a sort of manga… Thing…. Although I guess it does look different.

          • Fracktail says:

I like your style because it’s a mixture of cartoony and anime-y! Yours is so unique that you can’t place it into any established category. That’s what makes it so awesome! :D

          • Pokekinz says:

Sorry, she doesn’t say “Oh no”, she says “Please no”. Whoops. My fault.

          • Pokekinz says:

Well, I dunno, again, it’s a pretty intense backstory if you ask me. So, I’m not even sure if I could, heh… I just realized I say “heh” and “hah” a lot. Or type it a lot. Whatever. :P I’m not sure if Ricardo’s backstory is better or worse than Shadow’s, they’re sorta similar but also different. And it definitely makes sense why he’s afraid of a certain kind of long, slender, pointed bit of metal. Shh, don’t tell anyone. (O_O) Oh, and also why he’s not a big fan of humans…. Illogical, maybe, but illogicality is logical in it’s own way, so yeah. See? I was just illogical right there, cuz that’s how meh brain works. Basically what I trying to say is sometimes we can’t help being illogical, and that also applies to my Pokémon characters. Oh, and ya know how I came up with Ricardo’s name? (Probably not… If you did that’d be kinda weird.) I actually found the name when I was battling this random fisherman named Ricardo in Diamond version. Yup. He’s named after a random fisherman. It was just so fitting….

          • Fracktail says:

Ahh, I see. Well, I can pretty much figure it out at this point, and now I feel terrible for Ricardo. ;_; Although, Ricardo, being a Lucario, has sharp metal spikes all over him…what does that mean? D: I mean, I guess he’d be sued to them since he’s had them his whole life (well, since he evolved), but I dunno…how do organic metal spikes work, anyways? Also, that’s funny how Ricardo’s named after the random fisherman! I tend to pick up names from random places too, and then use them later depending on whether I like them or not. Naming is hard, though. I always have to find a name that just fits, you know? Like, sometimes I’ll have a name that I like but if I try to attach it to my nameless character it just feels weird, for no reason at all. (This makes naming my Pokémon a pain.)

          • Pokekinz says:

Aha! I knew I wasn’t the only one!! I have a few older toys that I just can’t come up with names for. I don’t know why. I like Orion’s name a lot, it seems pretty fitting, for no apparent reason. It just. Is. I got his name when I was thinking of good names for Signature German Shepherds, in case I magaed to get one. And then I saw the Signature African Wild Dog. At first I didn’t like it too much, but I thought about for a while, and I was kinda like “Huh… Orion kinda suits him…. MOOOOOMMM, CAN I GET A SIGNATURE AFRICAN WILD DOG?!?!?!!” Now the names I’d use for Signature German Shepherds are “Logan” and “Timber”, Logan being nice and a little submissive, but not always, and Timber being a tomboy who doesn’t like all the technology she’s surrounded with in our day and age. Maybe one day I’ll get them. Also, Ricardo doesn’t have a problem with spikes so much as hypodermic needles. I always thought the spikes Lucario had looked organic, but fused with metal somehow…. Maybe he’s like Wolverine. :P The weird name feeling happened to me with “Kachine”, I’m glad I found the name Whitney. I still need a name for my Greninja I hope to one day get.

          • Fracktail says:

Yeesh…poor Ricardo. Logan and Timber are awesome names! I think they’d be like brother and sister, haha. Although, it’d be pretty hard to get your hands on two signatures, let alone one, given their rarity. But you have a lot of Signatures, so maybe not. I dunno. But I think Whitney is a great name! Kachine is really unique, too! I’ve never heard of it before; where’d you get it? Also, Greninja is really hard to name, now that I think of it. I guess I never really thought of it because I’d always had my mind set on having a Delphox named Felix (Chespin used to be my favorite, and I wasn’t a fan of Delphox, but now it’s growing on me). If I had to choose, I’d say…Enigma? Maybe if it’s a girl. Then again, I named my Absol Enigma so maybe it’s back to the drawing board for me.

          • Pokekinz says:

Ah, Enigma is a really cool name. You can keep it, though, I think I wanna name Greninja something Japanese-y. Maybe Hisoka? It means “secretive”. And, I might just put some work into it and try to get a Shiny Greninja. (O.O) That’s gonna be hard…. Oh, and I found the name “Kachine” on a name site, when I looked up names that meant “dancer”. It’s American, apparently. I was actually considering making Logan and Timber siblings. If I ever get them. So far I have eight Signatures, I think. I usually get the less expensive ones, and Signature German Shepherds are not in that group. :P I was honestly surprised at how cheap the Signature Artci Hare was compared to the Signature Arctic Fox (probably one of the most expensive ones out there), I mean, it’s got to be at least as good. NOTE: I meant “managed”. I think “Magaed” is a name. :P

          • Fracktail says:

Whoops, I forgot to put a “close quote” after my mom said “You’re too excited about this.” Rest assured, my mom didn’t go into a tangent about wolf conservation, haha.

          • Pokekinz says:

It would of been kinda funny if she just started randomly ranting, though. XD I also really love canines. But, to me, that doesn’t make them more important, it just means I draw them more and that I want a dog for a pet. :P And apparently African Wild Dogs are endangered. Huh. But the awesome armored anteater (AKA “the pangolin”) is critically endangered. (O.O) That’s one of my favorite animals, too. And I actually really like condors… By the way, what does TFPE stand for? Assuming it does stand for something. But, back on the subject of Pokémon, I’ve only ever gotten one shiny. It was a Diglet, and the only difference is it’s nose is blue. :P Oh, not counting the Red Gyarados. I caught that. But seriously, just about every black-colored shiny is cool. Although I think I want my Charizard to be colored normally. Shiny Venusaur would be kinda cool…. But if I wanted to breed for IV’s and for a shiny, that’d be really hard. :/ Plus, if I wanted to use the Masuda method, I’d have to somehow get a foreign Ditto, and hopefully with good IVs. *Sighs* I remember when I could first play Yellow Version and read. I pretty much just used Earthquake and Psychic on everything. Now, if I actually wanted to be competitive, “IVs” this and “EVs” that. Well, at least we have hordes and Super Training now. Although deciding what my Pokémon should be. I guess Greninja will be a special sweeper, but so would a Gardevoir if I get one. And I would want Lucario to be a special sweeper, too. TOO MANY SPECIAL SWEEPERS. Ugh, being serious about Pokémon is hard. :P

          • Fracktail says:

Haha, it doesn’t stand for anything, just a corruption of the word “the”. :P But yeah, canines are pretty cool. A lot of underrated animals are endangered, like African Wild Dogs. ORION, YOU POOR POOCH. :c Also, pangolins are the best. Incidentally, the other day I was looking up “pangolin plushie” on the Internet and there were ZERO RESULTS??? So it is of my firm belief that GANZ would greatly benefit from the creation of a Webkinz of the pangolin variety, as they would then hold a monopoly on all pangolin-flavored plush toys. I feel bad for condors because most people are like “EEWWW VULTURES???” and they’re generally portrayed as mean, but they’re just misunderstood scavengers. So hooray for condor love!!

          • Fracktail says:

Also, it is of my personal opinion that shiny Audino should have been black with red eyes. It just works. And DANG I tried to EV train my Pokémon but it’s so tedious! I’d never considered it until my little brother’s friend’s Cubchoo got Pokérus, and I was like “HOLY BALONEY DO YOU REALIZE HOW LUCKY YOU ARE???” and he was like “uh no” so then I showed him how to spread it and use it, and then he traded us all Lillipups with Pokérus. Which is too bad considering my main team is already maxed out in EVs anyways. I guess the main reason I could never be serious about Pokémon is because all my favorite Pokémon are horrible competitively. Tangela is pretty good with Eviolite, but Tangrowth has a way better movepool and is generally better. But even though I love Tangrowth I like Tangela better so that wouldn’t work. I also love Smeargle, who can learn almost every move in the game but makes up for that by having the stats of Bidoof. Garbodor is kind of good but its movepool doesn’t really complement its high attack, and plus it’s a Poison type which are weak to a whole bunch. I guess the only one who might stand a chance is Porygon-Z on account of being super fast, so he could easily be a special sweeper. And that’s not even mentioning the type imbalance we got going there. D: So my problem is like the opposite of yours; while all your favorites are good at the same stuff, mine are bad at all kinds of things. But I still love them anyway. :’D Also, congrats on your shiny Diglett! Shiny Diglett was always funny to me. It’s like a reverse Rudolph, but blue instead of red and instead of a reindeer he’s a whack-a-mole. (Sorry about splitting the post up by the way; I thought that the end post would be too big and the first part turned out to be way shorter than expected.

          • Pokekinz says:

African Wild Dogs are amazing. (O_O) Although, some people don’t like them due to the strategy they use to take down prey…. I guess that’s understandable, but I’m pretty sure Wolves draw it out longer than African Wild Dogs. And I think African Wild Dogs tend to be more successful. Plus African Wild Dogs have fluffy tails, so yeah. Also, I looked up “pangolin plush”, and I think all that showed up toy-wise was homemade pangolin plushies. Weird, because they’re super adorable. I would make one if I could make plushies. I would love a pangolin Webkinz so much.(。>‿‿<。 )And a pangolin Pokémon. Although, Sandshrew kinda looks like a pangolin… Oh, and I also like vultures. And Tasmanian devils. I seem to like the scavengers for no particular reason. :/ And yeah, shiny Audino is a bit disappointing. The black-with-red-eyes Audino would be super awesome, and there would then be ten-million fan-fictions about it. Possibly maybe including one by me, just not on the internet. And I'm not sure how competitive my favorite Pokémon is. I used to like Lopunny, I thought her sprites were cute, but the 3d model…. Not so much. Plus, I was kinda disappointed with her mega. I thought it would accentuate her fluffiness. But, it went in a totally different direction, and I'm not a fan. At least Mega Lucario is cool. The tail. Is so. Fluffy. I wonder if he ever trips over his elongated aura-sensing appendages….. And I’ve decided Lucario has a spike on his chest because he doesn’t like hugs. :D Well, maybe my Lucario should be a physical sweeper. He does have a slightly higher Attack stat. Maybe my Venusaur can be a physical tank, setting up with Toxic and Leech Seed or something… Wait. I’m rambling again.

          • Fracktail says:

That Lucario theory is the funniest thing ever. “And here we have the common Canis aura. Its keratin chest spike is a highly developed defense mechanism against its primary fear: hugs!!!!” XD And I don’t think it’s fair that people don’t like African Wild Dogs just for that reason, seeing as EVERY OTHER PREDATOR does stuff like that to some extent. I mean, that’s how they survive. It’s what they do! Also, I agree that scavengers are highly underrated. That’s why I got Helix! :D (also, spotted hyenas are commonly kleptoparasites (i.e. they steal food) to African Wild Dogs. Make of that what you will.) But yeah, scavengers are cool. Coincidentally, last week I started working on a story/cartoon/thing where there’s a band of scavengers (an academic vulture, a goofball hyena, and a prankster jackal pup) who do things. I am not exactly sure what they do yet. I have their personalities down pat, but they don’t have names yet. I wish I could show you them but they’re not Webkinz. ;_; My sister makes plushies, which is super cool! She has yet to make me that Tangela I asked for, though. >_> I did ask her to teach me, so maybe I can start making my own one day. But yeah, that Audino would be a show-stealer. Zoroark might wanna keep an eye on that one! Mega Lopunny was a little disappointing, although I kinda like how she looks like she’d be at home in Wii Fit or something. I do wish she had more fluff, though. Maybe she was going to have lots and lots of fluff, but then Mega Altaria stole it from her! CAUGHT RED HANDED. Er, red-clouded. Something. Venusaur is probably the best of the starters competitively (or so I’ve heard; I’ve never used Charizard or Blastoise). Lucario as a physical sweeper would be pretty useful considering that he can take advantage of all those good Fighting moves! Close Combat would be perfect for a Pokémon like that.

          • Fracktail says:

Does he also wear skinny jeans and listen to bands you’ve never heard of? :D I’m sorry, that’s just the first thing that popped into my head during those last two lines. :P (Especially since you mentioned him with a beret. I CAN’T UNTHINK IT, I’M SORRY.) Hypothetical hipster-ness aside, I’d imagine Quennel to be the sort of everyman who has to deal with Orion’s antics, not so much in the snarky way that Shadow does but just simply overwhelmed by his exuberant nature. Which is pretty funny and unique. Anyway, I’d say that most of the natures are pretty weird. Although sometimes I catch a Pokémon an edit jus thats the perfect nature (character-wise, not competitively). For example, I’d always thought of Golett and Golurk as gentle giants, and BOOM, Garth turned out to be Quiet natured. So I was like “YES.”. Other instances of lucky nature-gettings were a Quirky Smeargle (named Picky), Impish Chimecho (who I’d named “Stinker” on account of being a pain to catch for no reason at all, so the nature fit the name more than the idea of the Pokémon that I’d had in my head), Adamant Krookodile (shiny, no less!), Docile Garbodor (Jasper), Quiet Tangela (Melvin), and Bold Dragonite (Clementine), to name way more than a few. None of those are on my main team (although Jasper was for a while), but they’re pretty cool.

          • Pokekinz says:

Hah, no, he doesn’t wear any clothes. :P None of my Webkinz or plush characters really do, although I guess Berrina has a necklace. And that’s pretty much what Quennel is like (the second thing, not the hipster thing). Although I somehow can’t really picture Quennel meeting Shadow…. SO then… Orion could tell Quennel about Shadow, and Quennel would think it Orion was just making him up and stuff. And Orion would get all frustrated when he realized Quennel didn’t actually believe him. And, I guess this might be good competitively, I once caught a Sneasel who had a Hasty nature. I didn’t realize until later though, and it turns out her little message thingy says “Likes to run”, which I thought was kinda funny. Oh, and I named her “Kurai”. I think I might’ve had a Serious Lucario on my Black version, but that broke a while ago. :/

          • Fracktail says:

POKEKINZ, HOW CAN THIS BE. I CAN’T NOT THINK OF QUENNEL WITHOUT IMAGINING HIM WITH HIPSTER GLASSES AND A BERET. WHAT HAS HAPPENED HERE. Also, I think Quennel meeting Shadow would be an extremely awkward encounter. Like, Quennel would try to strike up a mild conversation and Shadow would give these really terse remarks, not adding to the conversation at all, and finally after a while Shadow would just be done with the whole thing and start being sarcastic. But then Quennel would continue trying to be agreeable and polite and it would just be the most awkward thing. That would be funny (although it probably wouldn’t happen, seeing that Quennel doesn’t even know he exists). Also, once I had a Magikarp who “liked to run”. True story, people.

          • Pokekinz says:

(Well. Terrible grammar on my part there. What the heck.) What if there was a Magikarp that was “proud if its power”? (well, there probably is somewhere.) I guess it’d make sense when it evolved, but I think it’d be kinda funny while it’s just a Magikarp. And I really wanna get a plush for Quennel. And Ace, too. I think eventually Orion might get Quennel to see Shadow does exist, and then it might be awkward for Quennel, because he’s not used to being corrected by Orion and then Orion being correct. (NOTE: At first, when I saw the word “terse”, I thought it said “tense”. Huh.) And also, that seems like a very accurate idea of what would happen, heh. Although I think eventually Quennel would then get annoyed with Shadow’s sarcasm (although Shadow would probably hold back on the sarcasm a bit, being somewhat subtle, and still making his comments terse). Then Quennel would start to get snappish with his comments, and Shadow would probably eventually come up with some excuse to leave. That excuse probably wouldn’t be a very elaborate excuse, though, probably something like “Well, I don’t have time for this” or “Right. Nice talking with you.” The second one would probably be said with some sarcasm. Although I guess they aren’t really excuses. You know what I mean. :P

          • Fracktail says:

WELL MAYBE MAGIKARP IS GRATEFUL FOR ITS TOTAL STATS OF LIKE 15. it needs all the self-confidence it can get ;_; Joking aside, that would be pretty funny, haha. Also, Shadow makes the best excuses. :P I imagine Quennel would have a hard time socializing with pretty much all of our Webkinz (not because he’s the awkward one, but because they’re all so abnormal). Like, how the heck would he react to Fluff’s rambling. I think the only other person (Webkinz?) of mine who would be able to hold a conversation with Quennel is Poseidon, but even that’s debatable because he’s kinda shy. He’s getting better, though. I think Poseidon has really changed, actually; before he met everyone, he was super reclusive and quiet, and now he’s sort of this pompous nerd with a hipster-ish streak. (Not like a full-on hipster, just with the slight superiority complex of “I’ve read this book that you’ve never heard of”). Plus, he drinks tea a lot.

          • Pokekinz says:

Magikarp can leap over a mountain with Splash, though. And somehow the move is still useless. Which is why Magikarp is one of my favorite Pokémon. (Although he might just Splash over it in a series of Splashes, moving up a river or something.) And yeah, poor Quennel, hah. I guess he wouldn’t really talk to Berrina or Annabeth, who are relatively normal. Well, except Berrina would be super shy about it because he’s a random dude talking to her, and Annabeth would probably…. Hmm…… Brush him off, I guess. Chipadea is just…. No. Leo wouldn’t even add to the conversation if he were talking to him, he’d always return to whether or not he wanted to order, and if so, what. Maybe he could sort of talk with Whitney, but Whitney wouldn’t even know him, so she probably wouldn’t talk to him, and it’d be kinda awkward if he just randomly struck up a conversation. By the way, does that make Shadow a hipster-ish nerd? He drinks tea a lot. :P (Nah, I is doing the kidding.) Earlier I was considering how the scene of Orion seeing Quennel again should play out, and I think it should take place in the Café (while it’s Leo’s shift, of course). Orion goes there fairly often, and he always gets a hot chocolate. ‘Course he’d like coffee. :P And, like I said, Quennel goes on his laptop and gets coffee (you know you’re jealous, Orion), so Orion might eventually spot him and say “Quennel?!” Which would be awkward. Because Orion is an awkward fellow. And I like Poseidon, he seems very unique. Especially the whole “I’ve read this book that you’ve never heard of” thing. XD

          • Fracktail says:

DANG IT, MY GRAMMAR IS CHOCOLATE PUDDING. When I said “plus he drinks tea”, I meant it as separate thing, not another sign of nerd/hipster-ism, haha. I mean, I drink tea, too, and I only fulfill half of said quota (I’m not charismatic enough to be a hipster :P). However, hipsterish-nerd Shadow sounds extremely funny. I approve. Also, I think it’d be funny if Leo tried to take your order without actually being on duty. Like, you’d just be at the park talking to him and then he’d ask if you’re going to order out of habit. XD And I think I need to see Quennel trying to do things with Chipadea. Not just holding a conversation, but simple and mundane things like flying a kite, or going to the supermarket, or trying to bake pie. It would be chaotic. And yeah, Poseidon’s really grown on me. What’s more, he probably secretly writes fanfiction about that “book you’ve never heard of”. And it’d have overly complicated prose, to boot. Good grief, I need to write a Poseidon-flavored fanfiction now. XD

          • Pokekinz says:

Yeah, I didn’t really think that made much sense, heh (but then again I often don’t make sense). Then I guess I’d kinda be one…. ‘Cept I also drink coffee sometimes. So I’d be half hipster-ish nerd. Except I wouldn’t because it has nothing to do with it. :P And I make that mistake a lot, because I look at it and figure it makes perfect sense and that people will be able to understand it, and then everyone’s like “Huh?” …… Hmm….. Now I’m imagining Shadow wearing little glasses with a tiny brown goatee drinking tea (hey, a rhyme). And yeah, poor Quennel, it was probably kind of a mistake moving here. :P But that’s okaaayyy, because it’s funnyyyyyy! By the way, what would Poseidon write fanfiction about? (*°▽°)

          • Fracktail says:

PLEASE DRAW SHADOW AS A HIPSTER. I WILL PAY YOU. (well, in KinzCash. :P) I have actually never drank coffee, but I feel like I’d be the kind of person who would become too dependent on it to wake me up if I did, so I don’t. One of the few (albeit self-imposed) temptations I can resist. And I know how you feel. I reread some of my other posts and holy cow, they are riddled with autocorrects and crazy errors, and I feel bad because you had to navigate through all that mess. D: But we’re here now, so I suppose we’re fine. And I’m sure Quennel will learn how it is here in quite a short while. (Especially if he does everyday things with Chipadea tagging along. XD) And oh man, I dunno what Poseidon would write about. I’m thinking maybe something kiddish, like a show he watched when he was little, but with overly flowery prose that disguises ridiculous concepts. Pretty much a verbose trainwreck, haha. Like, he’d probably write fanfiction about Captain Patches the bear and his dog sidekick from that one Webkinz TV show, but with a way more dramatic flair and a completely non-credible villain. Anyone other than Poseidon has yet to find out that he does this. :P

          • Pokekinz says:

If I did, Shadow would hate me even more for the rest of my life. :P Plus, I dunno if I could. And I only drink coffee occasionally, since it’s not particularly good for you. At most I have it every other day, but I hardly ever drink it that often, either. I remember I always wanted to drink coffee when I was little, cuz my dad always did. But black coffee is disgusting. In…. My….. Opinion…… But not in my dad’s. XP I think maybe Quennel will live normally for a few days, before he really gets to know anybody, then maybe he’d meet Orion, and then everything would go downhill from there. XD And I would totally read Poseidon’s fanfiction, purely because it would be so ridiculous. XD

          • Pokekinz says:

I used to use more acronyms when I was slower at typing, but after a while I decided I didn’t really like the way they looked, and I got faster at typing, so I just stopped using them pretty much. Although I only used “LOL” if I actually did laugh. I still use “BRB” in the Kinzville Park sometimes, since I sometimes have to get off quickly, but I’ll be back on soon. Also, I imagine Shadow flipping the table as he’s walking out, which I find very funny for some reason. And I can’t really see Shadow going to the Café, because he makes his own tea, and doesn’t like coffee. Plus then he’d have to be near people. :P But maybe Leo would work there, and spy on everyone’s conversations…. Dun dun duuuunnnn! Although I don’t know what he’d do with that information. He wouldn’t really be able to do anything useful with anything that Orion says. :P And now I’m trying to picture Jazzy and Leo trying to work together….. Heh, that probably wouldn’t work out so well. And Jazzy would probably offer to put random toppings that make no sense on peoples’ lattes.

Yeah, the “brb” is pretty convenient, and I do that too for the same reason. I guess I don’t like “lol” just because people tend to overuse it, so it doesn’t really have as much of an effect? I dunno. But I can live with acronyms, what I really can’t stand is the winky face ( ;) ). It just comes off as condescending to me, and even if he message is normal enough it really puts a damper on the entire tone of it. I mean, the difference between a comment that says “It’s okay, everyone makes mistakes” and “It’s okay, everyone makes mistakes ;)” is phenomenally different. While the first one is genuinely forgiving, the last one kinda sounds like it’s just condescending and mocking. There’s not really much use for it otherwise, so it’s just annoying to me. But that’s just me. And I’d think that Shadow would end up at the Café because his friends dragged him there. Like, he’d be yelling “there is no way I am going to the café today!!” And then it cuts to a scene with everyone sitting at the café table having fun and Shadow just scowling in the middle of it. And maybe he’d be the only one suspicious of Leo, but nobody believes him because “Leo’s such a nice guy!!” That’d be hilarious. XD And I’m sure Jazzy would single-handedly (pawed-ly?) put the café out of business. Unless people like cheese coffee, or ravioli stuffed in their donuts. Also, Jazzy would be an effective test of Leo’s patience. How far can he go? :O (I’d imagine Leo would be pretty darned patient though, he seems pretty lackadaisical)

          • Pokekinz says:

Now that you mention it, it does kinda look that way…. Huh. I’ve never used it very often. Also, I’ve definitely seen those sorts of scenes before, although now for some reason I can’t think of any. :P I have a feeling Shadow wouldn’t go, though. Plus he doesn’t really have friends, in my opinion people are only friends if both of them actually like each other (apparently that’s not Orion’s opinion, though). Shadow pretty much doesn’t want to be near anybody. He can also be really stubborn sometimes…. And, actually, I doubt he’d really have a reason to be suspicious of Leo. Usually he’s just suspicious of people who… Um…. Like they might be a problem for him? I dunno. Shadow’s kinda weird. Basically, the way he sees it, if it doesn’t affect him, he doesn’t need to be suspicious of them. Unless maybe somebody’s in immediate danger or something. Erm, sorry if I’m over-analyzing the imaginary situation here, I have a tendency to do that for some reason. I’m not trying to take it super seriously or anything, heh. And I bet Orion would try that stuff…. Although he’d probably gag on it. XD And Leo is pretty lackadaisical, although I wouldn’t say he’s careless or lazy, just the part where he lacks enthusiasm. Or DOES he?!…….

          • Fracktail says:

Yeah, I think they call those Gilligan Cuts or something. (Not sure if it’s official, but I’ve seen the term thrown around a lot.) I know it’s been done a truckload of times, but the only one I can think of right now is the part in The Lion King when Timon and Pumbaa do their little distraction thing. XD And yeah, I can see where you’re coming from, haha. Shadow would probably not care much for Leo at all. :P Although that’s interesting that he’d care if someone was in immediate danger, since he probably doesn’t like them much anyways…is it just his conscience, or is Shadow in serious friendship-denial? (Probably the former. :P)

        • FennecFox says:

Agreed, i love drawing my own webkinz. And i have my own style… :P

        • Fracktail says:

I dunno, I draw my own Webkinz quite a lot but it’s pretty fun drawing Webkinz characters. Although yeah, I use a way different style of drawing when I do it. Now I’m tempted to draw a Sheldon myself…although first I’m going to draw Zingoz and Zangoz, because OF COURSE I AM. Plus, festivities and all!

      • _emiemiemiemiemi_ says:

I’ve seen your drawings Pokekinz. =] They’re very nice. It’s a different style than me too, because I copy everything. I envy that you can make things look different, but still good. I can’t hardly ever make a pet in a different position and make it look nice.

        • Fracktail says:

OH MY GOODNESS CAN I ORDER A LARGE HELPING OF WHITNEY PLEASE. Hares are amazing and Whitney’s personality is just super fun and super quirky and I love it. Also, I don’t think I’ve heard of Leo before…could he possibly be hiding something??? *DUN DUN DUNNNN*

          • Pokekinz says:

Oh, that’s right, I forgot to tell you that I changed Kachine’s name to Whitney. I thought it suited her better. And yes, Leo is totally hiding something. (・-・) Or is he?! His beard looks pretty small…. Normal… Perhaps too normal…. Or maybe it’s that look in his eyes…. The look when he counts the Kinzcash you pay him… A glint in his eyes, perhaps? Or is he a spy…? Perhaps he’s conspiring with someone in that very Café. But then, conspiring to do what? What are his desires? His past? His motives? And, we come back again, to square one. For what is he motivated to do? So many unanswered questions, possibly never to be answered. But possibly not needing to… Because he’s just a Webkinz Curly Camel, and most people probably don’t care. (・ڡ・)

          • Fracktail says:

I thought Whitney sounded familiar! But then I was like, “nah, I’ve never heard of Whitney before…” Now I get it! Also, my guess is that Leo is a super-genius who pretends he is of average intelligence!!! Or maybe he works with Lyle? Only Leo knows!!! (Well, and you, ’cause he’s yours. :P)

          • Pokekinz says:

Thanks! I try to make my characters pretty different. When I first got Orion, my sister thought he looked like a serious guy (which sort of started the quirky goofball personality thing; if he looks serious, why not make him the complete opposite? Obviously I didn’t apply that logic to Shadow :P), so my sister thought he was basically gonna be a personality-clone (is that a thing?) of Shadow. And somehow he ended up being best buddies with Shadow (NOT). Orion and Shadow are definitely my two favorite Webkinz. For some reason. Well, Orion is obvious, I mean, he’s the king of the Signatures. But with Shadow…. Hmmm…. I’m not even usually that big a fan of serious characters…. Then again, I think Shadow’s different. He’s kind of intellectual, sometimes using bigger words, and then he’s got a temper. How do serious characters normally work, anyway? I don’t want Shadow to be as generic as his name. :P

          • Fracktail says:

Intellectual characters are always the best characters. Most serious characters are just like, “man, I’m so edgy. I’m so edgy I’m fallin’ off a cliff.” But Shadow has way more nuance to him; he’s not just serious, but he’s serious, academic, hot-tempered, and sarcastic, with a developed backstory to boot. He’s pretty much the straight man, who has to deal with all the craziness going on around him. Which is what helps him be so effective next to Orion (and vice versa); they’re both foils to each other, so while they’re each funny on their own, their contrasting personalities bounce off of each other and become even more hilarious. …Wait, this was supposed to be an explanation on why I like Orion and Shadow, but now I’m just telling you stuff you already know. Um…tell Orion I said hi?

          • Pokekinz says:

Yep, Shadow does find himself in a lot of weird, awkward situations. XD Although I have imagined a more serious story he can be in, but I think it’d happen later. And probably not on Webkinz Newz. :P I guess Shadow could be a serious, dramatic character, or a comical character in that he finds himself in weird situations so much. And I’ll tell Orion– Orion: *Pops out from behind Pokekinz* Hullo Fracktail!! Are you guys talking about me? Pokekinz:……….. Maybe. Wait, why are you in my comment again? Orion: Uh…. Physics.

          • Fracktail says:

Yeah, Shadow could definitely be in either genre. Unfortunately, the more serious story probably wouldn’t work on Webkinz Newz…which is too bad, because Shadow’s rabbit mentor sounded really cool. I wish there was a Webkinz fan fiction section, like the ShareCenter, but with stories instead of pictures. I guess that wouldn’t work very well though, because it’s easier to moderate pictures than stories; while you just need to take a quick glance at a picture, you have to read the entire story to tell if it’s appropriate or not. Oh, well. :(

          • Pokekinz says:

Sorry, I tried replying a couple times, but none of my comments were approved. :\ Well, anyway, Kuri isn’t actually his mentor, she’s a fellow pupil. And I’d probably like writing stories, but I really want to do comics of my Webkinz. But, I’m not very consistent with my art, and I take a long time. Meh, oh well.

          • Fracktail says:

That’s okay, I figured something like that happened. It’s happened to me a couple times, too. I’d totally read a comic with your Webkinz! I guess it’d be hard to do in the ShareCenter because it’s hard to read words in it, though.

          • Pokekinz says:

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. And it wouldn’t be easy to keep the pages near each other, either. I think maybe I could use a different site to upload my art at some point. Then, I can also do art of other stuff! “Other stuff” mainly being Pokémon, Mario-and-company, Kirby-and-company, and random drawings.

          • Fracktail says:

I wish I could too, but for now I can only use Webkinz Newz. One can dream…(also yeah, that’s pretty much all I would upload too, haha. That and Looney Tunes, Disney stuff, Brave Little Toaster stuff (don’t judge), and random animals. But mostly Nintendo.

          • Pokekinz says:

I might also want to do Bubble Bobble drawings, but I don’t know a lot about it. And there are a few Mega Man characters who are cool…. Oh, and “Cosplay Kinz” of course. That’s what I’d call it. :D

          • Pokekinz says:

Wasn’t there a movie with Mewtwo in it recently? One with Genesect? I dunno, I’m pretty sure it was a female for some reason. Which would mean there’s more than one Mewtwo. Which I think is weird. But Treble is a robot based on a wolf, he kinda acts like one too. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t talk or anything, he’s basically an animal (‘cept he’s a robot), but with a bit more personality. I actually never beat story mode, since I only played other peoples’ games. I don’t have the game myself. I think my favorite character is pretty much always gonna be Lucario. And I wanna play Super Mario World SO MUCH.

          • Fracktail says:

That was a movie? Huh, I thought it was a regular episode that had the weird girl Mewtwo. Regardless, I suppose we should not speak of the female Mewtwo. It was clearly a mistake on the part of everyone involved. I guess Mewtwo wiped the creators’ minds out too when he wiped Ash’s, because they pretty much made that a completely different character than the first Mewtwo. (Then again, Mewtwo speaks through telepathy, so you could argue that he decided to use a woman’s voice for no reason at all, but that’s not a very sound argument. :P) Also, Treble looks ultra-cool. You could say…he’s lookin’ sharp. (ohohohoho theyaremusicwords hohohohoho) And DUUUUUDE I want to to, but I’ve only played parts of it! I’ve played demos and stuff, but I’d have to buy it on the Virtual Console and I can’t. ;_; i do, however, have Super Mario Bros. 3 (as well as Super Mario Bros., Lost Levels, and Super Mario Bros. 2. You could say I’m one of the cool kids on the playground. B) ) from a Super Mario All-Stars game on the Wii, and that game is super fun. Plus also Koopalings. (That was the first game the Koopalings were on, actually. No wonder I like it so much.)

          • Pokekinz says:

I don’t know, I haven’t seen it, I just know it has it’s own separate… Thing….. On Netflix. It’s not in the Black and White episode list. And I just like there being one (masculine) Mewtwo. I’m not sure I like his Mega Evolutions. Also, I think one of my favorite Mario Bros. games is Super Mario Bros. 3. Because Tanooki. I don’t like Super Mario Bros. 2 much, but I think it’s because it always reminds me of…. The TV show…… ACK! IT’S NOT EVEN BOWSER!! I’m sorry, but I did not like that show at all. Oh, and another great thing about Super Mario World? YOSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!! First appearance of Yoshi. Yup. By the way, didn’t Team Rocket not recognize Mewtwo for some reason? And I don’t think he wiped their memories, right…? I don’t know, Pokémon has a lot of problems with its plots. :P

          • Fracktail says:

DUDE. DO NOT DISS THAT CRAPPY MARIO CARTOON. THAT CARTOON IS AMAZING WITH THE BEST QUALITY EVER. Seriously, that show (all three seasons) are so bad that they somehow crossed the line twice and became the best thing ever. I mean, look at it. The error-riddled animation. The flimsy scripts. The complete disregard for logic. The overly hammy acting. All of these things would make a horrible show on their own, but everything is so ridiculous that instead of looking like they weren’t trying, it looks like they made their best effort to make the weirdest and worst show possible. It’s almost like a parody. A parody of what? The world may never know. All I know is that the show has only one redeeming factor: being completely and utterly INSANE. Let me tell you some Mario-Cartoon memories. One time there was an episode where King Koopa wanted to turn the prince of Giant Land into a miniature poodle with his magic wand, so he took four of his Koopalings and turned them into GIANT SNEAKY LYING NINJA KOOPAS so that they could go do that. So they go to Giant Land and start messing stuff up and turning the prince into a poodle, and Mario and his friends are like WHAT??? So then Mario goes up the the prince’s giant talking parrot, rides said giant parrot to the stash of magic wands, and switches the poodle wand and the “giant ninja mode” wand. So then Kooky von Koopa (aka crazy messed-up cartoon version of Ludwig) grabs the ninja wand and is about to turn Mario into a poodle, but UH-OH he gets turned into a ninja instead! So then there’s a short, poorly-animated ninja action scene and peace is restored. Oh, and the giant talking parrot is overly angry at everyone in the episode for no reason at all. THIS SHOW MADE ME WHO I AM, PEOPLE.

          • Fracktail says:

(cont. from last rambly post) So, yeah, that’s my two cents. Although the show is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. (I have yet to find someone else who appreciates it, actually. I think I might be just messed-up.) I also think the reason Bowser was like that in the show is because they confused Bowser with Wart (the villain of Super Mario Bros. 2), so they made a weird fusion of the two. And then it stuck for the Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World seasons. (Which are equally insane. The ninja episode actually came from the Mario 3 version, which is my favorite out of all of them because the first one is just “Mario version of historical/fictional events” and the last one is just “Mario an crew teach cavemen how to do things and fail miserably. Oh and Koopa does crazy things again.) In fact, there was one episode of the first one one where Mario is trying to help a Birdo, but Koopa is also in the episode trying to sled a sled or something. Like, he had no bearing on the plot at all. This stuff is nuts, I tell you. Also, Pokémon needs to get its stuff together as far as plot goes. Although I do remember Mewtwo wiping everyone’s memories, he was all like “I think you’d be better off not remembering this, but I will remember you for the rest of my days” or some flimsy excuse like that, and I remember thinking “what?? So this movie had no bearing on anyone’s development at all?? This stuff didn’t even need to happen!” D:

          • Pokekinz says:

Whoops, I posted mine in the wrong place…. Well, recap: I remember Mewtow definitely wiped most of there memories, but weren’t Jesse and James out of the way or something? I don’t know, I haven’t seen that movie in forever. But I just don’t like the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. Seriously. Peach is just way too sassy for my taste. And Toad is constantly saying “dude” for no particular reason. And a bunch of random characters that don’t seem to make sense at all. I just…. No. I prefer how I imagined the Mario world to work. Plus the Koopas aren’t even Koopas… Or at least, they don’t look like them. I remember this one episode where they were in the jungle, and they were crossing a bridge over a cliff or river or something, and it fell, and they were all hanging on, and then Koopa flew a bunch of condors otu, I think, with… Itchy Bomb-ombs…. For some reason…. When he could’ve just used normal Bomb-ombs, apparently he was trying to get them to fall, and they got back up somehow, and Mario and Luigi were scratching like crazy, and yet Peach was perfectly fine for some reason. She was saying they needed to get going, and Mario said something like “No we can’t, we’re too itchy”, and Peach said something like “Well then I’ll just go stop Koopa by myself.” Bleh. That’s just the sort of thing I hate people doing with girl characters, they’re just randomly better than the guys for some reason, even though they weren’t earlier… I dunno.

          • Fracktail says:

Well, that was pretty annoying (Toad and Princess Toadstool, I mean), although Toad did stop the “dude” thing in the Mario 3 and World cartoons (one of the reasons I liked those better). Toadstool stayed annoying for all three seasons, though. :P I liked the Mario 3 cartoons the best because they were the most authentic to the Mario universe (although they still got the names and stuff hilariously wrong, which I loved), so it felt more like a zany Mario cartoon and less like a “put Mario in random unrelated situations” cartoon. If you get the time and/or lack of standards, I highly recommend watching them. They’re more fun if you don’t take them seriously, trust me. :P Although yeah, I hate when girl characters are irrationally favored over male ones. Like, the male characters are always goofy and fun, and the girls are “woah she’s so serious and no-nonsense oh man female role models”. I mean, come on, that’s just lame. Why can’t girl characters be fun, too? It’s like they’re afraid that a wacky girl character would be somehow “offensive” or “unfitting” or some flimsy excuse like that. NO THANK YOU PEOPLE, cartoons should be FUN TIMES FOR EVERYONE. Princess Toadstool should not be the randomly-better-and-no-fun-having person, she should have been a messed-up weirdo like everyone else. And yeah, Team Rocket was somewhere else, now that I think of it. Oh my gosh, there was this one movie (not this one, I think it was the Lugia one) where they had a heroic sacrifice to help the twerps, and then at the very end they were like “I guess we’re not really bad guys, huh” and then Jessie’s like “but nobody saw us do it, so who cares” and then James is like “actually, they did” and they’re like WHAT and then James points to the screen and THEY ALL LOOK AT THE AUDIENCE AND START COMPLETELY DEMOLISHING THE FOURTH WALL, like they’re saying stuff like “ohh, the people watching this movie saw us!!!” AND THAT IS WHY TEAM ROCKET IS THE BEST THING.

          • Pokekinz says:

Hahah! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that. I haven’t seen a lot of the Pokémon movies unfortunately. But I think the generation five movies are supposed to be not as good. Like they didn’t really try very hard on the plot or something (Ash is ten years old again in that generation, after all). But yeah, it’s for that reason (girl characters always being better than all the guys and always being super sassy for some reason) that I try to make my girl characters different. I guess Chipadea is, she’s a little different from the other crazy girl characters because they tend to be crazy at someone. And Chipadea acts crazier some days than others. And Chipadea is chubby. And Chipadea can be violent sometimes. (-.-) Basically, she might jump on somebody and stay there until they admit that chocolate-chip cookies are in fact better than oatmeal raisin. But, back to the subject of Mario, in the video games she was just really girly most of the time. She wasn’t really athletic or anything. Well, except for all the sport spin-offs. And maybe Mario Kart and Mario Party. But in the core video game thingies. And the Mario and Luigi series. *Coughcough*Bowser’s-Inside-Story-is-great*Cough* But I do have a game called Super Princess Peach, where she met this talking umbrella named Perry at a store or something, and Mario got kidnapped by Bowser because he had some emotion scepter thing or something. I thought the game was pretty fun, but the story was quite weird. Actually, I guess about every Mario video game could qualify as “weird”. Especially if it has Fawful in it. Seriously though, Fawful is great. I’m uh, kinda rambling now though, so I think I’m gonna stop here….

          • Fracktail says:

Yeah, and I don’t like when people use athleticism as a standard for how good a girl character is. I mean, you can like stuff better than sports without acting like a complete doormat. Although the Mario series is pretty lacking in good girl characters, though. Although, I do like Rosalina and Pom-Pom and Wendy O. Koopa (even though she’s my least favorite of the Koopalings, she’s pretty funny, I have to admit). Of course, they try to make up for that by making such anticipated characters as “Baby Rosalina” or “Pink Gold Peach”. I’m sorry, WHAT. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT, NINTENDO. Like, they literally took existing girl characters and made pointless alternate versions of them. First of all, Pink Gold Peach isn’t even a thing. They literally just made her up for Mario Kart. At least Metal Mario was a power-up, but Pink Gold Peach is just ridiculous. Plus, why is she pink gold specifically? I know that pink gold is a thing (it’s an alloy of gold and copper), but how come she needs to be a specific type of metal while Mario is just plain metal? Again, makes no sense. Plus, Baby Rosalina goes completely against the canon of Super Mario Galaxy. She looks nothing like Rosalina from the storybook. But what really rustles my jimmies is that they made some pointless characters even though they could have filled the slots with actual characters, like King Boo or Birdo! Birdo is a girl! Why not use Birdo? Birdo is actually probably my favorite out of the girl characters I mentioned, because she’s not overly sassy and cool or a pretty princess, she just does her own thing. (And yeah, I’m aware of the Super Mario Bros. 2 manual, but for all intents and purposes, she’s a pretty solid girl character.) So yeah, that’s my rant there. Anyways, Chipadea is a cool critter. She’s not perfect, but she’s still an entertaining character. Plus, she leads a brigade of tutus! What’s not to love? And I like that she’s slightly chubby, because usually it’s only the guys who get cartoony proportions. Blossom’s kinda chubby (although she is modeled after the plush), but he’s definitely not as agile as Chipadea. Even though she likes to pretend she is. :P

          • Fracktail says:

Why thank you, MandevillaRed! I pride myself in my nuttiness. Because if I wasn’t nuts, I’d be bolts, and that makes no sense. :P

          • Fracktail says:

Yeah, Luigi is pretty cool! I do like Luigi more than Mario, but I also like Mario because I tend to like silent protagonists. I dunno, he’s a quirky dude. Plus, that 3DS commercial with Mario’s voiceover was super funny. But yeah, I see what you’re saying with Kamella, but since Magikoopas are a species already I think she’s pretty cool. I’ve never considered that Kamella would have met Kamek, but that’s a pretty funny idea! I’d find it funny if Kamek was afraid of anyone, haha. I mean, he’s pretty much the only one who could tell off Bowser without getting burnt to a crisp, seeing that he’s his caretaker and all. (I always found Kamek and Bowser’s father-son thing to be interesting, like Bowser would be all the time yelling at Kamek like a moody teenager but after Mario defeats him Kamek would be the one to dress all his wounds and give him a pep talk. I dunno.) But Kamek is the best, haha. He is also incredibly stylish. :P I always pictured Kammy Koopa from Paper Mario to be the one to get on his nerves, but he’s not submissive towards her, he’s just incredibly annoyed by her (since she’s probably the only Magikoopa on par with his level of expertise, and Kamek doesn’t like to admit anyone’s better than him). And about Daisy (I knew my obsessive knowledge of Super Mario would come in handy one day!), Princess Daisy is from the game Super Mario Land, where she rules Sarasaland. But then I guess they got rid of Sarasaland after a while. Or maybe she just commutes from her kingdom, I dunno. I personally think Daisy is more responsible, because she got captured only once, after which she presumably put up her defenses in her kingdom so it wouldn’t happen again. Peach is just kinda like “oh, just get more mushroom people, that’ll scare Koopa away. This princess stuff is too hard. I’m gonna go make a cake.” Also, I like how Chipadea has green eyes because it complements her reddish fur to make them stand out more. Brown eyes wouldn’t have that effect. And yeah, there are crazy squirrel characters, but that’s more because squirrels are jittery by themselves, so Chipadea’s just another interpretation of that. :P

          • Pokekinz says:

I just realized I was typing “Kamelle”. Whoops. Also, that reminds me of the credits in Bowser’s inside story, where Bowser has bandages and stuff on him and his arm is in a sling, and Kamek is trying to get him to take this green medicine stuff. That was pretty darned funny. XD And okay, that makes more sense. We actually had Super Mario Land at one point, but it broke, and I never got very far in it. And is Peach related to Daisy? I’m not sure. And I guess I thought of Peach as being responsible and stuff cuz of Bowser’s Inside Story (again), because she was holding the meeting and trying to work out solutions and stuff. And thanks! I didn’t think brown eyes would work that well.

Also, I saw your Chibikinz picture in the Share Center. Orion is adorable!! :D The poofy tail is the best thing, and the pastel-ish colors in the background are also cool. Also, I love his playful pose!! Like he’s pointing at a butterfly of something, haha. :P I also made some more pictures, too. You can see them by searching “forever and a day”, “goober”, “atomicolicious”, “gleefully”, and “black and white”. I know they sound like random phrases, but they’re pulled from the descriptions, so the pictures you’re looking for will be the only ones that are pulled up, haha. (Except for “black and white”, but you should be able to tell which one is mine for that one. :P)

My brothers and sister are having fun together while I’ve been trying to get all this money spending close to an hour getting all of it when I realized. It doesn’t matter what happens on a silly computer game I don’t really care if I get the boat sofa or not. I just wasted an hour of summer while my siblings were having fun together. So next time your on Webkinz for a long time think, Is getting these items more important than getting outside and having fun with friends? I don’t think it is so I’ll be playing webkinz maybe 30 minutes every other day. This is my choice but I want you to considered this. Thank you for reading! Have a great day <3 Coopercow

It’s more the plushes for me. I love coming up with personality traits, strengths, weaknesses, and all that stuff for them. :3 Oh, and of course drawing them. Even if it’s hard sometimes (Darn it Annabeth why can’t I draw you?!).
