We have released a lot of Halloween costumes over the years, and now you’ll have the chance to add the ones you may have missed to your collection! From October 14 – 31, look for the floating Jack-O-Lantern in Webkinz World and click on it to win a Halloween costume piece (limited to 1 costume piece a day for free players, 2 for full players and 3 for Deluxe Members)
There are a total of 32 costumes to collect. Remember, you’ll only get a piece of a costume when you click on the floating Jack-O-Lantern, not the whole outfit. In any case, costume pieces can be traded so you can try to find the ones you’re missing at the Trading Room in the Clubhouse.

How come last year free and full members could collect 5 costume pieces a day and Deluxe members could collect 8 costume pieces a day, and this year the most anyone can collect is 3??? What’s up with that? Seems silly to me… I’ve always loved the Jack-O-Lantern floaties, but this year is kind of a bummer.
I agree, luna, & with only getting one piece out of the 32 complete costumes, it hardly seems worth the effort because it is so unlikely to collect a complete costume . . .
It’s a longer event this year, 18 days, compared to last year’s 7 days. The number of costume pieces we can get is about the same when you work out the math. I agree though, it’s somehow more fun to click 5 or 8 times a day instead of only 2 or 3. Is it just me? ;-)

I agree this year is longer time. But this way streched out as it is you can collect all the pieces and not wait for hours on end to go to the club house to find the ghost. Less hours waiting and more time to play . We must just go with the flow Webkinz has been kind in many ways and its their call. We change what we can and understand what things we can’t change. I wish you all well .
All the prizes we get are all repeats. Even on the wheels, dart game. I just sell them to get more kinz cash
I am wishing for Mummy feet & body I KNOW I will never get the head its was a special item.
I think there’s enough costumes so that all my pets can have a different costume
I’ve wanted the angel costume for sooo long..! I’m so excited! I hope I get it! I want to see what the Garden Gnome, X-Ray, & Egyptian Mummy costumes look like, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise..! Thank you!!!! ♥♥♥
This is all wonderful, but WHY are we being limited with the Floating Pumpkins? 1 for Free? 2 for Full? 3 for Deluxe? I think most of us will end up with a lot of pieces and parts of different costumes. I don’t understand why this Floating Prize event is so stingy with the amount of floating pumpkins you can get per day. I would rather just buy a whole costume than end up with a lot of different pieces of a bunch of costumes.
Head for the trading forum. Our fellow/sister members are extraordinarily generous at sharing items. You will have the full sets you want in no time.

Thank you, Traveller! I would go to the Trading Room in Webkinz World, but have never had good luck trading there. If you mean the Trading Forum here in Webkinz Newz, then…YES! :-) I will certainly do that! I have only traded there once, but the person who helped me was very nice and traded with me for something that I really needed. I’m hoping to be able to bring a lot of my extra costume pieces for trade. My main complaint about the way they are doing the “Floating Pumpkins” is the huge amount of costume pieces, along with them taking away the amount of Floating Pumpkins you can click on each day, is really going to make it hard to get completed costumes. I don’t understand why Ganz/Webkinz Team decided to limit how many times we can click on a pumpkin. I think someone has already mentioned that last year Free & Full Members got 5 chances and Deluxe got 8 chances. Why the limits on how many we can get? Sounds rather stingy on their part. Hi, shelkinz67! Thank you for your kind offer. I’m not trying to collect every single costume, just the ones I really like. If you should have any extra Aztec (head dress), Egyptian Mummy (shoes), X-Ray (mask & shoes), or Pumpkin Queen (mask) pieces, I would love to have them. The only three costumes I don’t have any pieces of so far are the Candy Corn Witch, the Scarecrow, the red & the black Ninja’s, and the Goblin. And, again….Thank you! :-)
I know it’s not a Halloween costume but I hope they bring back the pilgrim clothes for us to purchase in the WShop/KinzStyle Outlet

I agree! I love the Pilgrim outfits and wish they would release them in the WShop/KinzStyle Outlet, so we could get them for our Thanksgiving rooms. Would love to see some Native American outfits, too!
I second that request alucard. I would love to see both of those as well.
I’m wondering if the designers feel that Native American costumes would be too culturally insensitive. The closest that I know of is the Aztec Queen costume because you can use the headdress. If they could create whole outfits that would open up lots of decorating possibilities.

Neat costumes, I remember a lot of them from over five years ago. Love the fact that you can store costumes in the costume shop to save them for future use.
The costumes I probably will never find are the boy and girl Elf Costumes. Gosh I wish I played back then. I did get them for a grand son. But he doesnt play now . Some day you never know.
One thing that I miss doing during floaties is doing the puzzle. It was a great way to pass the time, didn’t have a time limit & you got a lot of kinzcash doing it. Now when I click on it I get “Plug in failure”. Is there any way to update the puzzle so that we can do it again? Pittiesrule
