A new Magic W event starts today, and will run until March 17. While you look for the Leprechaun at Kinzville Park on the Webkinz Classic Desktop App, keep an eye out for the floating Magic W, and click on it to win a prize! There are ten prizes to collect, including the grand prize: Sour Shamrock Tree Seeds!
Drag the seeds into your room to plant them. When your tree is ready, you can click on it to harvest a Sour Shamrock that you can feed to your pet:
Free players are limited to one prize a day, full three, and Deluxe players can collect up to four prizes a day. So, play every day for the best chance to win the grand prize!

We were 1 for 32 over here ,pretty terrible as far as averages go ! But not as bad as the poinsettia event over Xmas ,1 for 48 ! We think they could do just alitte bit better y’all !
Today is the last day and got all four floating Ws and no tree seeds, not very happy about that. All I wanted was one but nope.
Just one more note, you asked if we won the shamrock tree seeds, no one I knew won them. I played every day of the event got all the floating Ws and no tree seeds…so sad here.
Question……Why does the Lucky Clover on the seed pack and the tree only have 3 leaves and not four ?????
I have gotten everything now EXCEPT for the seeds. Keeping my fingers crossed :)
I won the Sour Shamrock seeds on my first W! I also got the Gold Chocolate Brick and the Shamrock Root Beer – both those old food prizes are from years I was taking a break, so I am pretty happy. The rest seem to be from Estore dispensers and I’m very happy about that because I have to budget my points and don’t have any of those dispensers.
Hey Alphacat! How are you? So exciting to win those items we missed during our breaks. I haven’t been lucky enough to win those yet. Are you and everyone able to see the trading forum and post on it? I haven’t not been able to in several months. Hope all is well in your world! :-) MrsKWA
Hi there, Strawberrykinz!! I am very well, thanks, and hope you are the same. I have not been able to access any of the forums for six months now and I fear it just may be a feature that Ganz doesn’t want to maintain anymore – sure wish a staff member could make a statement about that. I really miss connecting with you and our mutual friends :-) Having a lovely spring so far, can’t believe it’s mid-March already. Cheers! alphacat
Hey Alphacat! Good to see a familiar name here. Yeah I haven’t been able to access the trade forums either for months. I hope Ganz does something about it soon. I’ve picked up a few extra sour shamrock seeds, emerald candies, and clover bark candy. If you happen to get an extra one of those cupcakes or jellybean piles, I’d be happy to trade.
i think that chocolate might be expired
LOL – but it’s the food I wanted the most and I got one today!
LOL! Too sad! And where on earth were they hiding that chocolate bar?!? Chocolate doesn’t last a week in our house! LOL!
Not going to lie, I am not a fan of these recent floaty events where you either get food or something great. All the food items that I get most days, instead of the one great item, just feels like a waste of my time. Nothing to show to for it unless you actually get one of the great item.
I feel the same. The food items are just dock cloggers to me.
I agree! I really REALLY dislike getting food as prizes! I don’t even like seeing food on the various Wheels, exception is when they have the Wheel that has all food.I really wish they would stop using food on the Wheels! They have made it so hard to actually “win” the main prize in these contests that it has taken a lot of the fun out of playing these games :-(
It is unfortunate that this bothers you so much, but there are Webkinz users who enjoy collecting the various prize foods. Different people like different things, hence why the wheels keep a diverse selection of items: food, clothing, room decor. If ganz were to stop putting foods on the wheels, then that wouldn’t be fair to the users that like receiving them. I personally don’t like receiving clothing items, but I’m not going to expect ganz to stop putting them on the wheels, because then users who like collecting clothes would miss out. Having different categories means everyone gets a chance for something. You may not get what you want as frequently as you’d like, but that’s the compromise we all have to make.
