In the summer of 2010 we launched the Mazin’ Hamsters line of plush and section within Webkinz World. Since then, players have enjoyed building and exploring mazes, participating in daily activities and winning prizes. Mazin’ Hamsters can also be dressed, fed and played with like any other Webkinz pet.
Recently more and more players have been unable to access Mazin’ Hamsters. The Mazin’ Hamster section requires the use of the Unity Web Player. Unfortunately this plug-in is no longer supported by browsers such as Chrome, Firefox and Safari, blocking access. As a result we regret to inform you that we will be closing the Mazin’ Hamsters section of Webkinz World on September 9th, 2015.
On August 19th, we will remove the Mazin’ Hamsters button from the Things to Do menu, but players will still be able to access the section through the building on the Map of Kinzville. On September 9th, it will be closed for good and will no longer be accessible.
Mazin’ Hamster owners will continue to be able to play with their hamsters in their pet’s room and clubhouse.
If you have points to spend in Mazin’ Hamsters, we recommend that you get all of your prizes before the section closes, as you will not have access to those points after it is closed.
Finally, if you haven’t done so already, any Mazin’ Hamster code can be registered in Amazing World, whether or not it was used in Webkinz World.

Mazin’ Hamsters has now been removed from Webkinz World. Remember that entering a MAZIN’ Hamster Feature Code at the Code Shop will still add the hamster to your Webkinz World account. You can play with hamsters in your pet’s room just like any other Webkinz pet! You can also play with your hamster in Amazing World, a 3D game from the creators of Webkinz! I wish I had know this two weeks ago!! I just got a new hamster in the mail and was planning on starting my first hamster adventure! I am so sad (and a little annoyed) that I will only be able to use it as a webkinz pet now!

How? I tried and it didn’t work.
problems we are having is not with amazing hamster but with the beach pool we put in rooms it blank we cant see it we have to send request to ganz to unlock pool all the time plus with the frigerator you win for caring you cant see any of the food in the frigerator its frustrating and i dont get daily delivery game anymore
sad that it is closing for good we have no problem logging onto amazing hamster we love it you just need firefox it takes you directly to amazing haster with unity its no problem it will be sad to see it go ):
Ok, plz bear with me as I have a killer headache from all the crying over here. I just need to find out a few things for my little ones. Will we still be able to use unused codes from Mazin’ Hamsters in WW? We have quite a few of them still. Is there any chance that the Mazin’ Hamster items will be sold in the WShop? Are Mazin’ Hamsters still going to bring sold?
Hi! You will still be able to use Mazin’ Hamster codes on Webkinz. Every code will unlock a hamster that you can play with in your pet’s room just like any other Webkinz.
But the whole point of buying the hamsters was to access the hamlet. My son says this is the final straw & he’s done with Webkinz forever. Gosh, thanks. There went that. ;o(

PLEASE find some way to add the prizes from there to WEBKINZ . I have points there that I can’t use . I can’t get in but my NEW DOWNLOADED UNITY will allow mw to play AMAZING WORLD !!! Please let these prizes be used in WEBKINZ !!!
I never got a Mazin’ Hampster so this doesn’t matter much to my game play. I feel really bad to everyone that this effects. But Webkinz is so great and is getting even better. Think about Webkinz X!!!! This won’t be a big change for me.
Noooooo! I really like Mazin’ Hamsters! The prizes are so awesome too. Can you please update it to the latest Unity player? Or create a separate website so we can run around the mazes and play the challenges? My fav challenge is when you have to run around and find zums & then you have a bunch of zums following your hamster until you bring them to their party. They’re so cute! There’s still a few maze trophies that I haven’t gotten yet. NO FAIR!!! Awwwwwww!!! :(
I’m sorry to hear that ‘Mazin Hamsters will be closed — really enjoyed running around in the hamster ball. Glad to hear the codes can still be used in Webkinz World. . .I have many still in the box waiting their turn to join the family!
