We are so excited to reveal some of the new Mod Holiday items from the new holiday room theme which will be available in the WShop from December 1 to 31. This festive theme was conceived by player Resonatingthunder and based on their amazing designs!
Above you can check out a Holiday Silver Reindeer relaxing in a new Mod Holiday living room we designed in a medium room. A few of the items like the fluffy grey rug and the stunning rose gold tree are based on Resonatingthunder’s wonderful suggestions and drawings. But we also asked other players to offer your suggestions. Several players mentioned that a sectional sofa would be a great choice so we have created a sofa and bench that work on their own or together to make a cool sectional piece.
The stunning two-storey wallpaper and flooring pick up the natural wood and cool grey tones of Resonatingthunder’s beautiful fireplace. The black trim of the windows sets off the iron railing on the stairs. Of course, modern furniture can be really set off nicely by a vintage piece, so for the coffee table we went with a weathered wood sleigh design. And the beautiful sleek design of the Menorah fits perfectly with the mod look.

No this will not be an eStore theme. This is the new holdiday room theme which will be available in the WShop from December 1 to 31 for players to purchase with KinzCash.

It kinda looks like a redid version of Home for the Holiday room theme.
The base colors look the same, aside from the added pink, that’s one of the reasons why I did not vote for this theme. It did turn out nicer than I thought it would, so kudos to the design team. I think the wallpaper helps add more of a Victorian look, than just modern. I have never cared for the coldness of modern designs, especially for Christmas. I might be glad in the end that the colors are the same as the Home for the Holiday theme, so that I can mix in parts of that to make it a little warmer and cozier looking. I like that little sled coffee table a lot, that is a very cute idea and adds a bit of a rustic look.

Wow! I am amazed by the elegance of this room. Who would have guessed that they would make such a unique wallpaper available in the W Shop? Resonatingthunder should be very proud to have inspired such a stunning room theme.
