Hi! It’s Molly and I just found out something I never knew before! I’ve always wondered when Polly’s birthday was but she has never told me. Whenever I asked she would always just change the subject. But I was over at her house for dinner and Polly’s mom said that Polly’s birthday is coming up on May 28th! That is just around the corner! I was so excited! I told Polly that we could have a big party but she said she didn’t want that and just to forget about her birthday. Forget about a birthday??? How is that even possible? Polly cannot be serious. Everybody likes a big party on their birthday, right?
I agree with the “Go slow and steady” comments, and that maybe May 28th brings sad or bad memories. I don’t think it has anything to do with Memorial Day because that day is observed on the last Monday in May and the date changes every year. Respect Polly’s space, Molly. I’ll bet you’ll find out why eventually.
Maybe she has planned a birthday party without Molly. Or Polly is very very unhappy about something. I have always loved birthday parties!
I dont like big parties on my birthday but i like it when people say happy birthday and give me a little present even though there won’t be a party
Omg Slow Down Molly! Geez! Its Like Your Mom Is Rushing You To HURRY UP And Get Ready To Go To School! Gosh. :( **~**Sonici**~**
WHAT! COME ON!!!!! Who is that crazy enough to NOT have a birthday party!? If she had a chocolate fountain with strawberries and pound cake and donuts and pretzels and all that at HER party like at my friend Charlotte’s party, hopefully she’d plan to host her party and invite MY account!!!!!!!
My birthday is the same day as Polly’s!
Well, Some people say that they don’d when in reality they just don’t want to come across needy. I thing throwing this party would make Polly happy. Just make sure to keep it on the downlow. Don’t want her to find out!
WRONG!!! Some people ( like Polly ) don’t . They don’t like much attention.
Respect your friend, Molly. She said NO!!!! >>Fav19<<
Yes. That’s Memorial Day. I wasn’t sure because it’s an American holiday… Canadians have Rememberance Day in November. Maybe somebody she loved died on Memorial Day? After all, it is a day to remember the people who fought in the war. Perhaps her grandfather died in a war on her birthday and celebrating her birthday makes her feel like she’s celebrating his death. :( That’s just a guess… but it seems pretty sad that you want to forget your birthday, Polly! I hope you have a good one regardless, though! ♥
