Hi! It’s Molly and I just found out something I never knew before! I’ve always wondered when Polly’s birthday was but she has never told me. Whenever I asked she would always just change the subject. But I was over at her house for dinner and Polly’s mom said that Polly’s birthday is coming up on May 28th! That is just around the corner! I was so excited! I told Polly that we could have a big party but she said she didn’t want that and just to forget about her birthday. Forget about a birthday??? How is that even possible? Polly cannot be serious. Everybody likes a big party on their birthday, right?
Just be her friend Molly, and do what’s best for Polly. She’ll tell you what’s wrong when she’s ready to. jennifer
it’s memorial day on may 28 ( in the u.s.) and maybe someone in her family paased away that day. So she dosn’t want a party or dosn’t like her birth date beacause it’s memorial day and she just wants to stay calm and think about that person in her family.

Listen to your friend, Molly. I know you want to have a wonderful time, but perhaps Polly has her reasons for not wanting a party. Perhaps you can talk with Polly’s mother, to see if she thinks it would be okay with Polly if you planned something special for just you and her? Or maybe you send her a card to let her know that you are thinking of her, but otherwise respect her wishes. It is a situation I do not fully understand, but I think it important that you listen to your friend. All the best! MDIChickadee
awwwwwwwwwwwww
Not everyone wants a big birthday. How about just giving her a small present and saying happy birthday and hopefully many more to come! I just want a small birthday myself!
Hmm… Maybe Polly has a twin, and when Polly and her twin were getting born Polly’s twin died. So maybe her birthday reminds her about her twin. You’ll find out soon! ~* Always Shine From TaraStarShine~*
cool secrets….. no secrets please share!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cool!!!! And I do agree that she should celebrate her b-day but she is the quite type.
Maybe she’s adopted and her b-day brings back memories of her real family….
