More Trick Or Treat Street Concept Drawings!

I wanted to thank everyone who left us feedback for the first set of Trick or Treat Street concept drawings. I read over each comment and was really impressed with your suggestions. There was a lot of focus on the Halloween homes, in particular, the colors and look & feel of each home. I really like how the concept drawing for the costume shop turned out (you’ll see it in this post). I think that we will model the homes to match the look and feel of the shop, but still keep the bright colors that were used for each one. This way, they will look less “haunted” but remain colorful and feel as though they belong in a charming neighborhood. In any case, I really like the suggestion of triggering a doorbell sound effect and having your pet say “Trick or treat!” when you click on each home.

Now, I’d like to share the concept drawings for the second half of the Trick or Treat room theme. Please leave your feedback in the comments section below. Tell us what you like or don’t like about each item or how you would make them better. Just like before, we will be reading each comment carefully and take all your suggestions into consideration:

Here’s another look at the bench that will be including in the theme. Don’t worry, “Halloween” will be spelled correctly on the final item:

Here is the costume shop I was referring to earlier. The shop will be 3 tiles in length, so there won’t be any gaps along your yard if you decide to add a door to the room:

The idea behind this tree is that it will change slightly when you rotate it. 3 of the rotations will feature unique Halloween decorations and the last one will simply be a plain, fall colored tree that could be used for any type of room design:

I really like how this white picket fence turned out. The expressions on each of the jack-o’-lanterns faces are priceless:

Finally, here’s a look at the novelty gravestone that you’ll be able to use to decorate your front lawns. Similar to the tree, this item will also change slightly when rotated in room:

How do you think this theme is coming along? Let us know in the comment section below and stay tuned for your first look at the final items that will be modeled in 3D. I plan on showing the first half on Saturday, August 31st…

I love the idea of a costume shop! It fits the Halloween theme perfectly whilst being a more universal item (the pumpkins could easily be covered by another item like a tree in front). I think it would be awesome to have more stores like this, maybe a candy shop? I love candy and sweet themed items, so a more fall take on them would be awesome compared to all the pastels we have.

Also, as a fall color lover, I wish we had more updated basic dark colors to our game for walls and furniture, the maroon walls and cabinets are great, but I would love to see that same color scheme in a bathroom or bedroom set!

i’m really liking this theme but i have something that would perfect it its a floating witch on a broom that flies around the room i think that would really perfect it or in the shop you know how you guys have the building kits one of them could be a jack-o-lanterns and we can make our own faces and stuff it would be really fun and some spider webs all over the houses and bushes and huge spiders that would crawl around the room. i love this room the,e it props the best halloween room theme yet !!

Great idea, THEFLASH! I love the building kits! It would be so cool to have a pumpkin building kit, and maybe even another Halloween decorated store, or two. I do they would do some more building kits that could be used in holiday themes like Halloween, Christmas, Fall, Winter, Summer, and Spring. :-)

I really like it, although, the bright green grass next to the building I feel like should either be a darker green or a brown or orange. ;)

I love all the designs! I really love the Costume shop! I think that you should make the Costume shop hold 15 Halloween costume items! That would be a nice touch! Hope you see this comment! Your friend, ToothlessM06

thats a really good idea i would love if they did that

ToothlessM06! What a GREAT idea! Love it! Having the Costume Shop hold our Pet’s costumes would be awesome! And, maybe the other shops could do the same thing. I have a lot of costumes and having a “store” that would hold at least 15 to 20 costumes would be wonderful! Great idea! I hope Ganz will listen to you! :-)

I am LOVING this! And yes to more shops! =D You could think along the lines of a town made just for witches and warlocks, and of course, vampires. A pointy hat shop, with black dresses or capes. Broom repair. Black cat vets. Buckle shoe shop. Vacation supplies for vampires, with free sunblock. LOL Coffins and candles. Witches brew pharmacy. This could be an ongoing theme, with so many ideas for clothing! Thanks so much for choosing this theme, I am looking forward to it. One request? If we could have different headstone, without the ghost. I do have a cemetery going, but the ghosts tend to slow down the room. TIA! =D

Diagon Alley here I come! The other theme that didn’t win, Cauldron Cafe (The Three Broomsticks), would go nicely in your town! There would have to be a wand shop, and a place to buy your owl, etc. Free sunblock – bwaa-ha-ha! XD

    • alucard says:

Warden! Love your ideas, especially the different headstone options! Rotating to show maybe one with a ghost, one without a ghost, and two with different style tombstones (no ghosts). More options make decorating so much more fun! :-)

These are the best ideas I’ve seen. Great idea for a city with stores for Witches, etc. So cleaver. Love the sunblock idea. Please consider at least some of these ideas. It’s for Halloween make it look like Halloween! Thank you Warden for these wonderful suggestions. Hope to see them soon.
