I have been saving my tokens for almost three years and I have 96 tokens. I play almost every day. It will take me 12 years to earn 400 tokens.

I don’t mean to be rude, but I don’t see this as all bad, and I don’t think this deserves all the negativity. Yeah, 400 is a little much. But I think 100 for the bigger ones is probably a minimum amount to be fair to the players who already have these prizes. If they make them any less, then everyone would have them. That kind of defeats the purpose of them bringing them back. It’s not that hard to get 10-15 tokens. That being said, 400 is still a lot. I think a better price would be more like 100-200 for the biggest prizes. But nonetheless, this is great and I’m very happy you guys gave us the chance to get these cool prizes again! =) and again, I’m not at all trying to be rude to GANZ or fellow Webkinz Newz commenters. This is just my personal opinion. I’m just grateful we now have the opportunity to get prizes we may have missed! ;)

How are you even supposed to get 100 wish tokens?! I have 14 and I never buy anything!

    • sydneywydneypie says:

Meg, I have been playing on the same account for 10 years and have never had anything close to over 100 tokens. Keep in mind the younger or new players that weren’t around for some of these when they were just prizes. They will basically never be able to get them now, unless they trade someone for them.

If you have been laying Webkinz for 3 or more years, you probably have most of these prizes, and you got them for FREE. I got that big 400 token slide from a free Adventure backpack once. So, it’s not as though these are prizes someone once bought or paid for with epoints. These were almost all giveaways, if you were playing WW when they were offered. Also, these are often traded in the clubhouse. Keep younger players in mind. By the time they earn 400 wish tokens, they will no longer be interested in WW. By the way, I have three accounts, and after 3 years, I have about 250 in each account. You are talking about taking YEARS to save for these prizes.

These “prices” are really high! I already have some of those items from Mazin’ Hamsters, and I don’t really think it’s fair to be charging people like 100 tokens for them, when you used to be able to get them for a lower price of either kinzcash or moolah money. Maybe reconsider?

  4. CreampuffKitty1698 says:

This is insane! It takes long enough to save 15 tokens, now we need to save 100!? I’ll be old and grey before I save up that many wish tokens.

  5. biscotti says:

Ganz, please reconsider this unbelievable amount of tokens to get a virtual prize. 15 tokens is more than enough for any of those items. Don’t “fix” the price by adding another zero. This is just ridiculous. I have been playing since 2007 and I have no where near that many wish tokens. Give your loyal players a break and make the number of wish tokens to buy prizes a realistic number for everyone.

Looking at all the negative comments, Webkinz should definitely reconsider. Prove to us that you hear us and CARE!

    • RornDoone says:

Don’t you get it? They’ve probably decided to start selling “Wish” Tokens. First we see the cool new items, then we’re surprised at the price, then they announce that wish tokens are available for purchase using eStore Points, or some such. That’s my bet. I also bet they didn’t reckon on the major outburst of negative feedback everyone is posting, because my first comment and the only comment before mine (at that time) both got deleted. They were both along the same lines as what everyone else is now saying.

On my other account, I traded for the Willow’s Tree — which goes for “10″ tokens on the Wish Factory site, and it took 100 of my hard earned/saved tokens! What’s up with that??? How can the “cost” be listed for 10 tokens and the program takes 100??? What kind of arithmetic is this???

  8. foxwolf says:

this will take a while to get a lot of the prizes good thing i have some of them

  9. uytrewq14 says:

These all sell for SO MANY TOKENS!!! i would never be able to afford ANY of these items, considering I just spent like twenty of them. most things in the wish factory only sell for 10, or maybe 12 tokens. but these are like 100! who has that many tokens?

  10. Bubblilious1 says:

I agree with the comments. This is ludicrous! What is the rationale? Sorry I cannot support you on this. It just doesn’t make sense.
