HEY THERE! When you elected me Mayor of Kinzville, I promised I would bring a whole new rare theme to the Curio Shop for you to collect.
Well, I’ve now added the NEW Art Deco room theme to the pool of rare items in the Curio Shop!
Remember, since each day’s rare items are populated randomly, it may still take some time for new items to appear. Good luck collecting them all!
Every day, 1 rare item appears in the Curio Shop for Deluxe Members, while there can be anywhere from 0 to 3 rare items each day for everyone else. Which rare items appear is random, so you’ll have to check in at the Curio Shop every day!
The good news is the more often you visit (especially if you leave a little something in my tip jar!) and ask me about rares, the more likely I’ll tell you what time a rare item will appear!

I have been looking for any of those wonderful items since the announcement every day but cannot see them yet in the Arte shop!
They all look wonderful, but I am looking for any of them every day and did not see any, so far!
Could someone post WHEN & TIME this theme will start showing up in the Curio Shop? This is exactly why it should be in the WShop and not haphazardly appearing whenever! Having to keep up with the hour that the rares appear in the Curio Shop is not easy, especially if you can’t be home 24/7! Or….put the Curio Shop on Webkinz Mobile, so at least we could use our phones to get the new theme! :-/
The rares for the day are randomly determined. There isn’t a schedule.
@Sally – I get that the Rares are “randomly determined”, it’s just that it takes FOREVER to complete a Rare Theme! It has taken me years to complete my collection of Ancients Themes such as Egyptian, Medieval, Aztec, Roman/Greek, and so on. Even then, there are pieces I am still missing, mostly due to them being “Retired”. I’ve never understood why some Rare items are randomly “Retired”. It makes it so hard to complete a room within a reasonable time. I was excited about getting this new room theme, but now, not so much. I just wish ALL themes, old, new, and rare, were in the WShop for KinzCash! :-(
If we don’t retire older themes, then the new ones are harder to collect as well. They wouldn’t be rare themes if they were in the W Shop and always available.

can free members buy this theme? I was a paid member for many years and really wish they had some sort of grandfather clause

So many times, I forget to log in when I know the rare item is due to show up. Thats a good idea to set a alarm. Thats what I’m going to do in the future. I love this Art Deco and don’t want to miss any time when I have a chance to pick something up. Good luck to all of you.
YAY Arte!! I have been diligently checking since you announced for it’s arrival and see you are cycling through many of your current rares, I know I have to be patient, I remember when you added the Aztec Rare theme and those floors took a long time to show up. It’s funny, you know, back then we felt just like this; the waiting for something awesome to show up, the anticipation, the excitement when it did finally show up. This new theme is a bit darker, but I think I can make it work and there are a lot of existing items that can work well with it, so this should make for some very interesting rooms in the Design threads that Michael posts, here. I have friends who have already opened up their adoption exclusive boxes and won a few items from the theme, so I know it is definitely out there and the bed is outstanding! I can’t wait to begin adding this to my collection!
I am not impressed with this new theme and will not be collecting it. Some of my Webkinz friends have said the same. We all voted for Goober and really miss new items on the wheels. This time all the items are from the past. :(
