Things are on the move in Webkinz Next! Introducing a brand new feature that allows players to send selected items from their Webkinz Next account to their Webkinz Classic account – including the fabulous Glampire theme!

How does it work?

In order to use this feature, you must have Classic and Next accounts with the same login info. Don’t have a Next account? Just log in with your Classic username and password to create one! And if you don’t have a Classic account, you can create one using your Next username and password!

To send items back to Classic, look for the moving van at the bottom of your Dock when you’re logged into Next, and click on it. Now you can select which items you want to send.
Not all items are available to be sent back to Classic, so we’ve included a handy checkbox that isolates the items you can currently send. Certain items even offer the option to buy a duplicate before sending them off.

Now hit ‘Send’ and that’s it! The next time you log into Classic, you’ll see a message in the Message Center letting you know your item has been added to your Dock.

I couldn’t sleep last night so I got up to get some medication and while I was waiting for that to work I turned on my heating pad and went to play NEXT…so my delight the new features were live so I sent my CLASSIC account my extra Glampire Kitten Plush that I just won, did my Trick or Treating and am now looking forward to Thursday when I will be home from work and can enjoy the Farmer’s Market. That Farmer Will is really handsome, don’t you think?

Does this work on the Webkinz Next app? I see the feature, but it doesn’t work.
Yes, this has just been added. It will only send to the Classic account with the same username as the Next account you’re using. If you haven’t logged into Classic with that username, you’ll need to do so and finish setting up the account.
I have a linked account and successfully sent one of each sendable piece from the glampire theme to my Classic account but I am unable to place anything other than the wallpaper and flooring into my rooms. Whenever I try to drag the pieces from the dock into the room it doesn’t show the green/red box to let me know if that spot in the room is taken and when I let go of the mouse to actually place the item I get a box that says “Item cannot be placed”. How can I fix this and use the glampire items i transferred?
Just signed back in and tried again – they are now placeable.

I can’t download Next :( I’m on a Mac and still don’t see a Mac version. Is there one? I also have an android phone running android version 10. But the App Store says my phone is not compatible with this Next Version. I thought I just needed Android 8 or above? (Which I have.) Do you know what other requirement might be making my android phone incompatible? I don’t have another device to download it to. My mac, or my Android phone running Android 10.
A Mac version is coming soon! The RAM requirement for Android is a minimum of 3mb. Sometimes devices will round up, so if it’s not actually 3mb, it’s not compatible.
That might be it. Thank you Sally. The specs for my phone say 3GB (I think you meant GB vs MB), but maybe it’s actually something like 2.9, and that’s what the Play Store is seeing. Any ETA on the Mac Version?

@Steve Webkinz will there be a section added to the trading forums specifically for Next trading? Maybe a section called “ I need this Next item”.
Perhaps in the future if it is necessary, but there are not currently any plans to do so.
@Steve Webkinz. So I tried to give Next another chance. I played briefly when it first came out but got logged out after a few minutes and never tried again. Yesterday and this morning after it loads and I go to the Arcade I try to play a game and I get logged out. Repeatedly. I had downloaded the app to my iPad from the App Store. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be? I can’t play if I can’t stay logged in. Thank you for any help you can give me.
That’s pretty strange. How strong is your wifi signal? You might want to try moving closer to your wireless router — if it’s dropping connection, it may log you out.
@Sally Webkinz. I’m with a major phone provider and did have an issue with the connections in the box on the outside of my unit for a few months where it would drop the signal. But that’s been fixed. I play Classic on the mobile app and typically don’t have a problem, every now and again Nuts & Bolts just tinker around and I get a random logout. I can’t get any closer to the router, it’s only steps away in my living room and my chair is within sight of it.
If you haven’t already, I’d give uninstalling/reinstalling a try then. If that still doesn’t work, you might want to drop a line to webkinzsupport@ganz.com and see if they can check if there’s an issue with the account

I love this glampire theme so much that I started a Webkinz Next account for the theme and have been buying items to send to my classic game as soon as it can be done!
greetings & same here! didn’t think i could be on a 3-D version (motion sick–could never play the hamsters) but i tried so could get this theme …to my surprise i am enjoying it a bit more than want to admit & am ok w/ motion as long as stay away from face painting ;) here is my question for sally or steve: one of the items (the door) could NOT be sent to my classic account. is there some way to let us know in advance *before purchase* what cannot be sent, as kc is real work on next. (luckily i was home yesterday; spent day playing games to earn kc & have now purchased entire set. tyvm.) best, k.
I’ve passed the suggestion on :) In general, though, no door will be available to send back to Classic, as Classic does not support doors.

I didn’t see this sending option? Do I need to update Webkinz Next or something? Or does it update its safe? I’m confused?
This new feature will be arriving in Webkinz Next when we make our update to the game next week.
