Quite often this deal is offered on “Black Friday” (The day after Thanksgiving), and New Year’s Eve, (12/31) of each year. This year it’s offered on New Year’s Day, so that’s when I’ll renew my annual Deluxe Membership. Can hardly wait for my bonus goodies with the renewal.
Sally Webkinz, can you verify if the virtual 10 year Anniversary Cat bonus with Deluxe Annual Membership will still be valid for this sale on Jan. 1st, 2016? The virtual pet included with this offer usually changes at Midnight, Dec. 31st of each year. If it is going to change effective Jan. 1st, 2016, could you please advise what will be included in it’s place? Thanks so much.
The pet will not be changing at midnight on December 31st, so you will receive the 10th Anniversary Cat bonus if you get your annual membership on January 1st. Hope that helps!

To take advantage of the 12-month promotion, it is paid upfront in full. Otherwise, you can select a monthly option.

The breakdown for the prices is: $3.00 for month, $7.50 for 3 months, and $22.50 for 12 months. If you purchase the 1 month option of January 1, that would only be for that month (all the other months would be at regular price), so you would end up paying $65.89 for the whole year and not get as much. None of the other Deluxe Plans allow you to pay by month.

I did it, but didn’t know that it ended 12:00 KT, not NA, so my dad didn’t buy me a membership, and now here I am, down in the dumps saving up 15 dollars for 3 months, and I could have gotten it 2 days ago with only 7.50. Very disappointed, as you could’ve said it ended at midnight KT, not NP time. Time is helpful, GANZ!, And I could’ve gotton a membership right then if you just included the time, so now I just have to pay you more money. ;(

If your deluxe membership isn’t up yet, will buying the year now just extend the current membership for a year from when it is up, or will it start from January 1st?
You have to wait til it expires to enter it. Mine expired the 27th, and I thought I could go on and enter my new code to keep it from drifting further in December, and I was told my account “already had a Deluxe membership.” I had to wait until the next day to be allowed to renew. Buy your membership as a gift, and enter your code when your current one runs out.

Hi Hyperborea, I tried to get the half price Deluxe, at first it showed the amount was $44.49 then when I went to check out it said my balance was $44.95. I do have an account now and tried to send it as a gift, but still it did not work. Hoping you can explain to me what I’m doing wrong before it is too late. Thanks, seamojo

That’s what I do, watch for the deal and save the codes for when my Deluxe accounts run out. The bad thing about this time is I need one more, so I am torn…I have two in reserve with the cat code, and the pet doesn’t change til February, but in order to be able to renew, I have to buy them on half price days. January’s not really a good month for this extra expense for me, even half off. If only I could be sure I can count on a half price membership sale for Webkinz Day in April; that’s when I renewed this account last year. Hmm. If someone on the team would care to toss a hint out on this, it would really help me out…..
In the past, I think it was only Black Friday and New Year that the 50% off was available. Other times in the year they’ve had 25 or 30% off offers.
