The Farmer’s Market is open every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 6am to 11pm KinzTime. You’ll see it as a destination on your Kinzville Map, and it will also appear in Kinzville directly while it’s open.

The Farmer’s Market features a number of fun activities. Scroll down to read more about Will’s Pantry, The Seed Stand, The Green Pig, The Farmer’s Plot, Facepainting, and Competition Crops.

Will’s Pantry

Will’s Pantry is the market bakery. You can buy up to 3 delicious treats for your pet each day.
The Seed Stand

You can purchase up to 3 seeds at the Farmer’s Market. Some of these seeds are also available in the W Shop but they’re discounted here! There are several new crops to collect as well.
The Green Pig — Farmer Will’s Store

The Green Pig is where Farmer Will loves to buy fresh produce—but he’s picky about what he’ll take! If you have the items he’s looking for, he’ll pay much more than the W Shop. You can sell up to 50 of the featured foods each market day.
Facepainting

At the Facepainting station, you can apply a free effect to your pet. Click on the chair to get started. You’ll be asked to confirm that you want to apply the potion.
Note that this potion will override any effect you already have applied, so you may want to wait if you’re using a different one. This effect will not be added to your dock.
The Farmer’s Plot

When you visit the Farmer’s Market for the first time, a Farmer’s Plot is added to your dock.
The Farmer’s Plot goes into your yard, and you can plant any crop that grows “in the ground.” If a crop grows in a pot, it cannot be planted in the Farmer’s Plot.
Why plant in the Farmer’s Plot? Benefits may include more produce, longer-lasting produce… or even Competition Crops!
Competition Crops

Unlike regular crops, Competition Crops cannot be sold to Farmer Will, nor can they be fed to your pet. However, they make great decorations—and you can enter them into Crops Competitions!

Each time you participate in a Crops Competition, you earn 50 KinzCash per crop just for entering.

If your crop wins, you’ll be awarded collectible prize ribbons. Each season has its own ribbon color, and they can be displayed proudly on your wall.

Winners will receive a message upon login the following day, along with their ribbon. Plus—your world name will be displayed at the Farmer’s Market on the next market day for everyone to see!

I wish we could buy 4 produce and that they would give you a choice of face paint or change it up with the seasons or something different!
wish you could buy additional farmers plots. Neater than the planter boxes.
I do love that idea I wanted another one too!
Farmers markets also sell flowers. It would be nice to have some seasonal flowers like chrysanthemum during the fall and poinsettia during the winter. Maybe some hibiscus during the summer and it’d be lovely to have some bulbs for the spring like tulips and crocus and Iris and some hollyhocks would be really nice for up against the house.
I love this idea, especially if they are seasonal. My fall/winter homes could definitely use more flowers :)
Ooooo… I like your idea! And if they are sold as seeds/bulbs that grow flowers that you can harvest, it would be awesome to have recipes to make flowery clothing, wall decor, etc. Hopefully the mods will read these comments and pass it up the chain!
Despite selling many a competition crop, I’ve yet to win a single ribbon LOL
I find you have to leave the crops in your farmers plot for a LONG time before harvesting. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I think they continue to grow over time. I’ve left mine for over month and won 3rd place a couple times.
When you harvest a competition crop, it is randomly assigned a value. The length of time it spent before harvesting does not affect its final size.
Is there a reason the Farmer’s Market is only open until 11:00 p.m. when the rest of the game resets at midnight? I usually do my Webkinz in the early morning, but on an occasional busy day I can’t get to it until evening. A few times I have missed the Farmer’s Market because it was closed earlier than midnight, which was a real disappointment. If there is a good reason for this, can you please explain? Thank you!
Yeah, and why does it start at 3am (pacific) – why do we have to have sooooooooooo many different times/days on things like the curio shop, wish boutique, and spirit shop?? It’s hard keeping track of all these times and having to go in so often to check changes (curio). I don’t get it. And don’t get me started on the real life time change that then messes up webkinz.
The Farmer’s Market is my favorite place to visit in Next! I love taking my crops to sell–although Farmer Will is a bit stingy sometimes lol. The Facepainting area is so much fun, and of course, I can’t resist buying some fresh baked goods, after I buy seeds. I never miss a chance to visit visit the Farmer’s Market, and have some fun with my pet and earn some KC. I would love to see a Tree Farm in Next, where players could go to buy seeds for a tree, then plant the seeds in their homes. Players could water and prune their trees, and after a period of time, we would have a variety of beautiful trees lining our Webkinz Next neighborhoods. Maybe Farmer Will knows of a woodpecker or a squirrel who would like to open a tree farm in Kinzville.
Oh, I love the Tree Farm idea!
Ooooh. Here for the tree farm idea, but I’ve been wanting to see more magical types of seeds for plants and trees since I started on Next. And maybe one of the Magic Mire fairies could run that. Something like that and your tree farm would maybe lure me back to gardening. Granted it absolutely would not wring forgiveness from me over them ruining gardening entirely. But some candy apple and fudge seeds might go a long ways in breaking ground in my yard again, at least for a small plot.
I like the market. I have learned that I have to take the correct pet to the market to get the best prices for my produce. I take the pet that has the level five negotiating earned from the Academy and you get a couple of dollars more for each piece of produce that you sell and that makes a difference. I like the idea of a tree farm as long as their lifetime will be permanent. I would love to be able to go pick out a Christmas tree or a maple. I keep saying we need some trees. A dogwood would be nice or a cherry tree.
We have a white memorial dogwood in our backyard that has a special place in my heart. When a bad storm snapped a large branch off, I cried. A lovely white dogwood with all of the texture would be so beautiful in WW.
