Okay, be glad you’re not me, because my life just keeps getting worse. First, it looks like my sister, Plumpy, might abandon me. Now, it is almost absolutely for certain that my very best friend is definitely going to.
I was over at Laurabeard’s house today when she got a letter from her brother, Dogbeard. He wrote to invite her to join him on a Webkinz Worldwide cruise that would last for months, if not longer. He said that they would have all sorts of exciting adventures and explore exotic, new places.
Okay, don’t get me wrong. I know that sounds totally awesome, right? But Laurabeard is my best friend. The last thing I need right now is her taking off on some wild pirate voyage. And with Plumpy going off and getting married I need her support now more than ever.
Even though Laurabeard was totally psyched about it and ran down to tell her mom, I wasn’t too worried though because whose parents are going to pull them out of school to go sailing around the world with her brother, the pirate. That’s crazy, right?
WRONG! Apparently Laurabeard’s parents thought it would be a great learning experience for her. Are you kidding me? Dogbeard had already called them before he told Laurabeard and said that he had added a tutor to his crew to make sure she keeps up with her school work!
I can’t believe my luck. First Plumpy, now Laurabeard. I think I’m going to cry.
Well, I guess to feel sorry for yourself but really? I mean i’d be happy. Free wedding cake and food from the wedding + gifts. + u can finally get some peace…..(BD)–]—[

Nibbles–Go ahead and cry–You need the release! Then get out some of your notepaper and write down how you feel about each of these situations…you may need more than one sheet. Then tell Plumpy that you would like to sit down with her and talk without interuptions like phone calls. Set out some milk and cookies and show her what you have written. Ask her for her opinions on what is happening in your life. It is really hard to feel as happy as I know you are when it seems like all of your safety nets are falling down. Plumpy is GOOD at giving advice so I’m sure she will help you! Good thoughts and virtual hugs to you!
