2024 is another election year in Webkinz Classic as we ask our citizens to cast a vote for mayor on November 29th!
We first held elections for Mayor of Kinzville in 2014, and back then we had 6 candidates running: Cowabelle, Salley Cat, Dex Dangerous, Daisy Doe, Sheldon Turtle, and Ms. Cowoline.
Players could log in to receive an election cap for each of the candidates, and also visit the WShop to pick up an election sign for their favorite.
After all the votes were counted, Cowabelle was elected the first Mayor of Kinzville! As part of her campaign promise, the ability to purchase underwater and treetop rooms was unlocked for all players.
In 2016, Cowabelle decided to step down– and this time, only 4 candidates ran for mayor: Amanda Panda, Dex Dangerous, Dr. Quack, and Salley Cat. During this election, players could find each candidate during different weeks at the Kinzville Park giving out a gift box containing a random prize: an election sign, a candidate plushy, or a candidate cap.
After voting, Dr. Quack was elected as the new Mayor of Kinzville. As part of his election promise, he created a new smoothie recipe food that could boost a pet’s Health, Happiness, and Hunger all to 100%
In 2018, the candidates for mayor were Dr. Quack (running as the incumbent), Dex Dangerous, PJ Collie, and Sophie Stockwell. Players could once again find each candidate on different weeks in the Kinzville Park giving out a gift box containing a 2018 version of their election sign, plushy, and cap.
This time the Citizens of Kinzville elected Sophie Stockwell as mayor. Her campaign promise was to start awarding eStore prizes each month to everyone as part of a new series of Player Appreciation Days.
In 2020, the candidates were Sophie, Dr. Quack, Dex Dangerous, and Alyssa Fairy.
After losing the previous election, Dr. Quack was voted back in as Mayor of Kinzville. As part of his campaign promise, he re-opened a new version of his clinic in the Webkinz Classic Clubhouse, where pets could get a Health, Happiness, Energy, and Pet Heart boost by sitting on an examination table. Dr. Quack would also give out 1 random clinic lollipop per day.
In 2022, the candidates were Dr. Quack, Goober, PJ Collie, and Nibbles.
The newly elected Mayor of Kinzville this time was Goober. As part of his campaign promise, a new prize was added to the Wheel of WOW for every update.
Now in 2024, election season has returned to Kinzville and Goober is once again running for mayor. Check out his re-election announcement last week on Webkinz Newz here. Also, make sure you visit Goober every day in the Webkinz Classic Kinzville Park until November 7th to get a daily gift box!
Also running for mayor in 2024 is Arte Fact, Sophia Souffle, and Debbie Dragon! Stay tuned to Webkinz Newz as each candidate makes their announcement and visit the Webkinz Classic Kinzville Park every day to collect a gift box from them on the week that they appear!

That is not what Cowabelle’s platform was in 2014. Her platform was that you could put items in any kind of room, eliminating restrictions on putting seeds indoors, or beds outdoors, etc. I remember this very well, because I was on Team Cowabelle and spent the 2014 election running around the Kinzville Park with my Cowabelle hat on, picking up trash, lol!
I would like to have a section in the W Shop where it could be all of the Mayor of Kinzville stuff from over the years and maybe even add the yearly mayoral gift boxes as storage items.
I love this idea! I don’t have any of the older items and would love to collect them all.
Wait, does Dr. Quack’s 2016 smoothie recipe still exist?? What are the ingredients??
Yes, it still exists but one ingredient is hard to come by. The tough ingredient is called Dr. Quack’s Miracle Tonic, and it can be combined with two farm fresh foods (there are specific recipes so you can’t just toss in two random farm fresh foods) using a blender to get three kinds of smoothies. Quaggy, Quaint, and Quenched Super Smoothies. These are wonderful if you collect foods, but probably not worth the effort to find the Miracle Tonic if you are just trying to boost your pets’ stats. Hope this helped!
I’d love to see Ms. Birdy run next time and give us the ability to rename out pets. Also, Nuts and Bolts being co-mayors could be an interesting twist, giving us the ability to delete rooms finally! I also really like the other person’s idea for Fiona. There could be one day a month that allows for one kinzpost or one trading transaction for free players.
I would to be able to delete rooms and change my pets name.
Yes! I would LOVE to be able to rename my pets. I started my account super young and insisted on naming all my pets personally, which means lots if spelling mistakes :(. -pinkbluerainbowgirl
These are great ideas!
