It’s Webkinz Newz week and we are kicking it off with big news about a new contest! We want you to design a new Webkinz Pet Buddy! It can be whatever you want – use your imagination!
Three winners will have their design turned into virtual Pet Buddies in Webkinz World which will be available in the summer!
The grand prize winners will receive a Pet Design Trophy, all three of the winning Pet Buddies, plus 3 months of Deluxe Membership. And all ten finalists will each receive a Spring Super Mystery Bag – courtesy of Ganz eStore!
1. Design a Pet Buddy.
2. Scan or take a photo of your design and save it as a JPG or PNG file.
3. Upload the file to the Pet Buddy Design Contest Gallery on the Share Center any time between April 16 and May 13, 2018.
4. Come back on May 18 to see if your pet buddies is one of ten finalists, and on May 31 to see the three Grand Prize Winners!

Yay! I am super excited on doing this! But……I am not that good at drawing. :( I am doing one right now, and it looks horrible. :( Only the best drawers can win. :(
It’s alright—I’m sure you’ll do great! You don’t have to be a good drawer in order to enter. =)
This sounds awesome, I hope I have time to do it. I guess they have to be something that would make sense if it was flying/floating in the air?

Are we allowed to design it on Paint this time? I know this has been a problem in the past and it wasn’t specified, so I decided that I would ask.
Hi EmilyCuteHeart! As long as you are drawing it freehand and not cutting and pasting images we are fine with you using Paint or another program. I hope that helps!

This is a fun contest. Some ideas for buddys would be a witch on a broom (it could be a cat witch), a bird, a butterfly, another dragon, a green zum, maybe a ghost that’s a cross between a chicken & a fox (the ghost pirate & ghost pirate princess’s kid), a genie (it could be sitting in a cloud or a magic carpet), a griffon, a hippogriff, an angel, a devil, a bat, a jack-o-lanturn or a vampire.
