It’s time! We took your comments and votes into account and discussed all the fabulous finalists in our Pet Buddy Design Contest before selecting our three winners. The three winners will each be made into an actual Pet Buddy in Webkinz World, which will be available in Ganz eStore.
And here are our three winners. Good job!
1. The Balloon Dog was very popular with our players and we thought it was a clever and creative suggestion for a Pet Buddy that literally floats next to your pet! What could be more perfect than a balloon?

2. The Woodland Spirit was such a unique and unusual pet. We loved that beardog8910 took a risk and created something completely exotic and brand new to Webkinz World! It’s sure to make a wonderful companion to your pet!

3. We just loved the idea of an octopus – a sea creature we have yet to see in Webkinz World – so we couldn’t resist Sunshinegirl1605′s sweet drawing. We can’t wait to see our artist’s rendition of this adorable pet buddy!

I’m glad the ballon dog and woodland spirit won, but I was really rooting for Resonatingthunder’s raccoon too. XP Aw well.. sorry, Resonating! I have to say, you are a great artist and came up with a really cute idea, though. Maybe next time? Nevertheless, congrats to the winners! I can’t wait to see these made into pet form. =]
I also was hoping Resonatingthunder’s raccoon would win! But I do really love the three that won, I can’t choose which one I like better, Woodland Spirit, Balloon Dog, or Octopus! I can’t wait to see their forms either! They seem like such unique shapes to Webkinz World, I’m sure the creative designers will do great!
Oh my gosh, these are adorable!!! That Octopus is going to make many underwater pets very, very happy! The Balloon dog is so cute–reminds me of a gift one could win at a Carnival. Woodland Spirit is definitely going to add a bit of the spooky to a lucky little Webkinz pet! I have the Halloween Spooky pup–and I know he would love to have that Woodland Spirit as his buddy. Congratulations to the 3 winners!! I know I would not have been able to pick winners from the top 10 they showed …. and I know they got a lot more than those 10. So much talent among the Webkinz players!! Way to go and congratulations to everyone that submitted an entry to this contest…. maybe you will have your’s chosen next time around. Good luck!!
Congratulations to the very talented winners! I’m excited that we are getting such a variety of new and unique options. I can’t wait to see the final renditions that are available! I do wish that at least one of them could be available for kinzcash and not limited to e-store points. Who knows, I mean, stranger things have happened… just look at all of the different saplings that we’ve recently had a chance to get for FREE!

It would be cute if the octopus buddy had it’s own little bubble outside of the water and if it could swim like a real octopus.
Congrats to the winners! I know how excited you three must feel! Although I’m very disappointed I didn’t win, there will be other opportunities. I was hoping I might win, who wouldn’t want theirs to win? One of these days I might win in a webkinz contest.
