Chapter 6 – The Night Before Christmas
Plumpy was surprised to hear another voice. “H-hello?” she said shakily.
“Hello, Plumpy,” the voice said.
“How do you know my name?” Plumpy gulped.
“I know everyone’s name,” the voice sighed. “It’s my job.”
The owner of the voice walked around the tree and stepped into the moonlight. “SantaKinz?” Plumpy gasped. “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be getting ready to deliver gifts?”
“I’ve been trying to find my Christmas spirit,” SantaKinz said sadly. “I just haven’t felt very Christmas-y this year. I don’t know what’s wrong. It’s just…I give and give and give, and no one ever appreciates it. No one sends me cards, no one says ‘thanks, SantaKinz!’ As soon as Christmas is over, everyone forgets me for an entire year.”
“But everyone DOES appreciate you,” Plumpy said. “Everyone thinks you’re terrific. On Christmas morning, Webkinz open gifts from you and they smile. Lil’ Kinz write you letters and tell you about all the good things they’ve done in the past year – everyone likes you, SantaKinz. I wish I could say the same for me.” SantaKinz’ eyes grew wide. “Everyone loves you, Plumpy,” he said, surprised. “Not anymore,” Plumpy said, shaking her head. She told SantaKinz all about trying to bring the spirit to Kinzville. “All because I was trying to find the Webkinz who wrote me the note saying that they’d lost their…wait,” Plumpy said, pausing. “You wrote me that letter!”
SantaKinz smiled and winked. “Yup,” he admitted.

Sorry to say, we are quick to complain but not thank you for every day that it works great and we don’t have any trouble.
