With all the toys now in the hands of players, the Rainbow Unicorn has been removed from sparking – no more Rainbow Unicorns will be made, real or virtual.

About Limited Edition Pets
When sparking a baby in Webkinz Next, there is a small chance that your babies will be one of our uniquely designed, limited-edition pets. Some of these pets are Rare, and others are Ultra-Rare.
When you spark one of these pets, you will have the option to purchase a plush version of your new baby, directly from Ganz, within two weeks of sparking. Limited Edition plush do not include a pet code as your baby is already in the game.
New limited-edition pets will be added to Webkinz Next periodically.

Aw, that’s too bad! A rainbow unicorn would have been so cool to spark. Though, I guess I’m also surprised that it hadn’t sold out earlier, considering Next has been around for a while now ,XD Even though I can’t get the unicorn anymore, I’m happy to have sparked both the rainbow retriever and pinkalicious pig, both of which I got the plushes for! (Both are so cute!) I wonder if either of these will sell out soon, especially since I see rainbow retrievers kinda often in the Baby Showcase?
Ooh, congrats Taffy! I saw those, lol. The retrievers came in 1,000 & the unicorns came in by 150, I think.
I am surprised that the unicorn and rainbow retriever haven’t sold out sooner too! The Rainbow Retriever and Pinkalicious Pig are Rare with 1,000 made. The Rainbow Unicorn and Fabulous Cow are Ultra Rare with 150 made!

Thanks for the update! I was wondering if any of the limited edition ones had sold out. Fortunately, I am blessed to have all 4 limited edition pets! The Rainbow Unicorn was the first one I sparked back in June! I cannot wait for a new one to come out as it gives me a reason to spark babies… something to wish for!

Does this mean that after a limited addition plush sells out, you no longer can randomly win the virtual pet in the game while sparking a baby?
Correct. You can only spark the virtual pet if there are plush available.

Can you please start being clear about the fact that the limited edition pets do not come with any sparks? I know this little-known fact has surprised and disappointed many players.
I agree! I didn’t know this and was SO excited to spark babies with my limited edition pet. I was really confused when that pet wouldn’t show up at the adoption centre spark station. I had to message Webkinz only to find out they don’t come with any sparks at all! Oh well
I agree. But my dream pets are a magical midnight unicorn with a snowflake pet patch and other cool features along with a husky with the shield patch and snowflakes, northern lights & dark paws. =/
In all of their postings about sparking babies, I believe that made a note that the limited edition pets do not contain sparks.

What would happen if someone outside of the USA/Canada sparked a limited edition baby? would they be unable to order the plush? If so, would it tell them this in game? I ask, as I know international players cannot normally order plush from Ganz estore.
You’d be able to spark a limited edition pet but you wouldn’t be able to purchase the plush unless you had it delivered to the US or Canada.
Ohh! That makes sense. What about the US Islands?
It will have the same restrictions as plush purchased through Ganz eStore: “Physical items are available for purchase and shipping within the Continental United States and Canada only. Please note that we are not able to deliver to P.O. Boxes or overseas military bases.”
Gotcha. Wait, you can’t deliver to P.O. boxes? (I.e. P.O. box 123, Kinzville, Webkinz World) does that go strictly for the limited edition plush or the entire Ganz eStore? I used to order plush from the eStore years ago, and I didn’t have any problem.
