Wow! As always, the Webkinz community has outdone themselves with their talent and creativity! We had so many fantastic entries in our Recipe Food Design Share Center contest that it was tough to narrow it down. After much discussion, we came up with 10 finalists.
Three of these foods will be turned into an actual recipe food, and three winners will each receive a code for a brand new upcoming pet, the adorable Quokka! All ten finalists will each receive a code for a virtual Mother’s Day Gift Bag!
While the final decision on the three grand prize winners will be up to the creative team at Webkinz, we want to hear what you think before we make our final decision. Please let us know in the comments what you think.
The winners will be announced on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2019.
Please note: Some of the designers have included ingredient suggestions in their drawings or descriptions, but these may or may not be the final ingredients. Ingredients will be confirmed after the winners are announced.
That submarine sandwich is so clever, I’d have to go with that. The dreamy pancakes are cool too. I like it when you can kind of figure out what food goes into it based on the looks.

The flora cake is so beautiful! And the sub sandwich is just genius! I also favor the gem cookies since i like colorful and cute foods which most of these are. Everyone did so great! But i do have to say we already have lots of wacky foods sop i would like to see some other ones win. Im a little dissappointed some of the foods i submitted didnt make it since i thought i had a good chance with submitting around 20 designs lol but im still proud of everyone who submitted theirs and there wasn’t a single bad design in the share center! <3
I so want that Submarine Sandwich! Personally I think the the Wackaron should be held for the next Wacky event. It would be perfect for a new ‘floaty’ prize. I must say that the Lave Cake by Japanesetea makes my mouth water it is done so well.

Me, too! So pretty, and keeping my fingers crossed it’s a “display” item and not just an edible. =D
Oh, now there is an idea! It is a stunningly beautiful cake and would be a fantastic display piece. Perhaps they could not choose it as an edible food item but approach the artist for permission to use it a such. That way there could be an extra winner and we as a community would win as well!
Such a difficult choice, but I choose the Dino Dessert, the Dreamy Pancakes and the Gem cookie sandwiches. Your essay is very convincing, dinosaurtracker13!
