Roll-Up Sandwich Recipe

We’re going to need lots of tasty snacks for Polly’s surprise party so Stoogles came up with these delicious roll-up sandwiches.

What you need:

-          Flour tortillas

-          Thinly-sliced roast beef

-          Thinly-sliced Swiss cheese

-          Lettuce

-          1 tomato, finely chopped

-          Mayonnaise

-          Dijon mustard

-          Toothpicks

-          An adult assistant

What you do:

Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on flour tortilla. Place a layer of sliced roast beef on top, followed by a layer of sliced cheese. Top with lettuce and a sprinkling of chopped tomatoes. Starting at one end of tortilla, roll up tightly and then secure with a toothpick. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Before serving, unwrap and cut in half.

Polly is going to love these sandwiches almost as much as she likes having a surprise party thrown for her!

MMMM. Sounds good! My mom makes somethng like these – she uses whole wheat flour tortillas, turkey, leaf lettuce, chopped veggies (tomato, sweet red pepper, onions, carrots – whatever she has), and some sprouts. Add some dressing of your choice, and a slice of cheese if you want, and you have it! Very similar. I am going to show her this recipe as I think she will like it, too. I hope someone remembers that Polly does not want this party. All the best! MDIChickadee

Sorry I haven’t been posting for a long time. I had time to read the posts- but not comment. Well, anyways- we won’t get off topic- shall we? @Chicago Made- I absolutely don’t like mustard too! And tomatoes. But if I had to choose to eat either, I’d choose tomatoes. The picture looks good though! Bye for now! ~ SugarComet***

You can use pickle slices instead of tomatoes if you don’t like them
