To ensure the security of all our player accounts, we have put in place a requirement that all players update their account password before logging into Webkinz World. Players will only have to do this once.
We have streamlined this process for you. When you log in with your current password, you will be given this prompt telling you to update your password:
You will be automatically taken to the Change Password:
Here you can simply enter your new password, and then again to confirm it and click Apply. You will then be taken right into Webkinz World to begin playing.
We are asking that all players use at least 8 characters for their passwords. We encourage players to use both numbers and letters in their password for added security.
UPDATE (04/24/2020): UPDATING YOUR PASSWORD ON MOBILE
- Open a web browser on your mobile device (e.g., Chrome or Safari)
- Go to webkinz.com
- Tap on the gray menu button (3 horizontal stacked lines) in the top right corner of the screen to open the menu
- Tap on “Change password” to go to the mobile Change password screen
- Follow the same steps listed in the article above
Remember, you will only have to do this once. The next time you log in, you will go right in. The security of our player accounts are of utmost importance to everyone at GANZ. We appreciate your patience with this inconvenience.

Sally, I really need help with my password change and I haven’t heard from the support group on my issue. Please tell me how to change the password on my second child’s account ? I get a message that is the wrong info and when I go to the parent section it won’t give me the right account to change the password. I have 2 accounts different user names but te same Email address.
Customer service is working hard to get to all of the requests. If you’ve sent an email to webkinzsupport@ganz.com, they will get in touch as soon as they can.
Sally Webkinz Could you please check into this for me. Yesterday I changed all of my passwords on my Webkinz World accounts as requested for the Security Update did not have any problems doing so. I read in the comments that it was not required to changed our Ganz World info I did not do this. Today when I tried to log in to my Ganz World account I was not able to do so. I tried a few times but not successful. I then entered the password that I changed yesterday and I was able to get in. HOW DID MY PASSWORD CHANGE IF I DID NOT CHANGE IT. I would appreciate if you could reply to my concern.
@Sally Webkinz I also wanted to mention that some of my Ganz World accounts still have my old password and some have the new password that I changed on my Webkinz World accounts yesterday. How is this happening without me changing my password?
I think it depends on how you created the GanzWorld account. Some are essentially copies of the WW account, if you used the WW account to create the GanzWorld account.

Did I say blame Webkinz I meant blame the hackers for making everyone have to change it and also i had a hunch hackers were going to do something like this and it turned out I was right they had nothing better to do so they decided to hack . I know this is rude but Hackers and Scammers need to get a life and to stop messing with people who agrees and wishes there was no such thing as hackers and scammers or any other like hackers and scammers?
I have 4 Webkinz Accounts. I do only have the app for my iPad. I am an adult. I do not know how to update my passwords. I have tried looking on this site, but can not find out how. Thank you.
I play the app on my Iphone and I am having the same issue trying to figure out how to change my password.
If you don’t have access to a computer, you will need to contact webkinzsupport@ganz.com and include “Password Change” in the title

Will using special characters in pw throw SQL error ? We received an SQL error for our pw reset and we think its because we used a special character. We sent email to GanzHelp asking for help. Our account is in limbo now. We are waiting for a reply to receive help. Thank you.

Are you going to allow those of us who are locked out of our accounts because it won’t let us change the passwords it gives us an error saying the account information was incorrect, and it won’t send the right account to my E-mail is sends our other account, and we already changed that one. Now I have one child that can do here Pizza challenge and get her Webkins time capsule and the other child cannot. Needless to say, she is a bit upset to miss out on the capsules and the pizza challenge prize if we can’t get back in. I sent a message to the support center, I am waitinf for help. Thanks

I HATE TO SHOUT, BUT HOPEFULLY I WILL GET YOUR ATTENTION. I had a terrible time changing my password today. It kept telling me my account information was wrong. WHAT IT MEANT WAS THAT IT DIDN’T LIKE THE PASSWORD I USED, but it didn’t say that. I tried using an old-fashioned girl’s name as a password, and instead of telling me that it couldn’t use that password, it kept saying that the account information was wrong. So try thinking up another password and do not use obscure names, because apparently Webkinz does not recognize them.
