Oh, I think it’s an appaloosa pony! I can’t wait to see the reveal.
Appaloosa looks about right! It could also be a paint as well, but we have one of those already.

We know it’s a horse, hence the hint ‘steed”. I looked up Apppaloosa and sure enough Google pictured an Appaloosa with exactly this coloration. We used to live near horses. My dad’s favorite was the Buckskin; my mom’s was the Pinto; my Sister’s, the palomino; and mine was the Grey Dapple. My brother was a baby and preferred his Panda plushy! Eons ago! Lol.
