Sneak Peek: Compete at the Farmer’s Market!

Think you can grow the biggest Competition Crops in Kinzville? Soon you can find out!

Coming soon to Webkinz Next, a new feature where you can win prizes and earn KinzCash for the Competition Crops that you grow on your Farmer’s Plot.

I have a quick question. Does anyone know how often rare items appear in the Next Curio Shop? I’ve been trying to complete the Season quest of buying a rare item, but so far no luck.

    • amstaffwb22 says:

The items in the curio shop rotate every 3 hours, although there is no known schedule or pattern for when rare items are available. You just have to check back every couple of hours until you can find one!

    • Wingsfan65 says:

@gingerdare – Sorry I can’t help with your question but this might save you a few seconds of time: if there is a bright light behind the cash counter, it means that a Rare item is available for purchase at that time.

gingerdare I have found I have most luck finding a RARE item at the Curio Shop 3-4 o’clock in the afternoon. You can tell when a Rare item is available you will see a light shining in the door behind the check out counter. Best of luck to you finding a rare item. ~ shelkinz67

Hi @gingerdare! The stock in the Curio Shop on Next changes every 3 hours: 6:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 9:00 PM, 12:00 AM, and (I’m assuming) 3:00 AM (never awake to check on that one. LOL!) If you have the computer time available, try popping in right before a change, and stay until after a change to see if there are any rare items in either of the time slots. Then pop off and check back almost six hours later, at the end of the next segment and stay for the beginning of the next one. For instance, there is a rare in the shop right now, at 2:45 PM Next time. I will stay and check when it changes at 3:00 Next time, and then I will check again at about 8:50 Next time to get the 6-9:00 bracket, and stay for the refresh at 9:00. (Unless my family kicks me off the computer!) I hope this helps in your “quest” for treasures!

Just to clarify this line …

Competition Crops can be sold for extra Kinzcash at the Farmer’s Market on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday so make sure to participate. You have nothing to lose! Does this mean we DON’T LOSE our entry veggie???

    • Sally Webkinz says:

Entering the crop is equivalent to selling it. You don’t get it back, but you might win a ribbon.

      • lemony says:

        Thank you ❤️

      • Wingsfan65 says:

Hi Sally, I think lemony was asking about *selling* a Competition crop at the Farmer’s Market…not entering it in a competition. I had the same question too because I didn’t think you could sell Competition crops, just regular (edible) ones.

        • Sally Webkinz says:

You can’t sell it to Will, no. You can enter competition crops into the competition, which gets you 50 KinzCash. It removes the crop from your Dock and is not returned.

          • Wingsfan65 says:

Hi Sally! Thank you so much for clarifying :) I think Iemony & I were confused because this Webkinz article above said “Competition Crops can be sold for extra Kinzcash at the Farmer’s Market on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday so make sure to participate.” which didn’t make sense.

  8. OtterPikaLove says:

If we enter the crops, will they be returned to our dock?

  9. _xPho3nyxblade318x_ says:
