Could you please also add Jumbleberry Fields here? They were included in all previous Days of Play.

Activities that can be played in one shot are much more fun and a lot healthier for kids because instead of being chained to their device to play the activity every hour they can instead do it once and then do other things like homework, play with friends, sports…this seems a pointless waste of time.

    • puppies4me says:

babetteab, EXACTLY! Well said. Thank you! I really hope GANZ listens to us. Remember a couple years ago when Webkinz was encouraging kids to get active, go out and play and eat healthy? What happened to that idea? Was it just a promotion for Webkinz?

I, too, am adding my voice of dissent with regards to losing all-day availability to the Daily Activities. I worked a double shift yesterday and was looking forward to some ‘down time’ playing my favorite game, only to find I’d missed out on the Daily Activities because you reverted to hourly scheduling. PLEASE, PLEASE! reconsider this. I would MUCH rather do less activities per day and have them available to me to do when I can (that is, when Real Life will allow it), rather than have a lot of activities set to an hourly schedule which I can’t get to. Because, for me, even though you offered activities from 9:00AM to 10:00PM, by the time I could log on, I only got to do the two all-day ones you offered. Nothing else. :-(((

I was disappointed when I logged on today and saw Webkinz had reverted back to the hourly schedule. For me personally this means fewer daily activities I can play. Please bring back the all day schedule!

I work retail 5 or 6 days a week and cannot access a computer (or even my phone!) during my shift. Moving the activities from daily to hourly means that I cannot properly enjoy the Webkinz experience. Judging from other comments I’ve seen today, many other people feel the same way. Please put the activities back to daily rather than hourly!

  6. dixiecup says:

I am in total agreement with everyone about the reverting back to hourly activities. I was actually logging on more often because the schedule wasn’t so rigid. Even getting excited about coming to play because the activities I enjoy were available when I was on, not when I had to sneak on. I even adopted MORE pets over that last 6 months because of it. I agree, please keep the dailies all-accessible. We ALL enjoy it.

  7. GoGanz24 says:

This doesn’t seem like the correct article for this comment, but because everyone else is posting about it in this article, I’ll post my comment here too. I want to Thank you for bringing the all day schedule back! Without the hourly activities it was so empty and EVERYBODY lost out by having only a few activities scheduled that day. Now the activities are back in abundance and gives me something to look forward to each hour! Plus the children raising experts are always saying its best for children to have schedules to keep structure in their life.

    • Powerann says:

I’d like to point out that child-rearing experts all agree on family time being more important than being tied to a computer all day long.

    • kri361 says:

I agree. I am excited about Hourly activities as well! It was indeed empty and sad without them.

    • cmsrockz1 says:

everyone can not get on the computer on all those hours so it is not fair.If you speak of structure then let your children choose an hour to do a certain activity.but to be fair to all players who cannot be on certain hours it is not fair.Put it back to the all day at one time for everyone.I think that was the best thing Ganz has done in a while..CMSROCKZ

    • lalaboocat says:

I agree! Love having the hourly stuff back!

    • Elessar says:

I have to respectfully disagree, GoGanz24. Webkinz could offer 100 Hourly Activities spread out through the course of the day and it still won’t make any difference if I’m busy elsewhere. Real Life things (IMPORTANT things like taking care of my family and spending time with them, going to work, fulfilling other obligations and appointments, etc.) need to take priority. I would rather have fewer activities available all day long. Then, at least, I could actually get to DO them when my schedule allowed, thereby enhancing my ‘down time’ and keeping Webkinz fun for me.

    • dixiecup says:

I agree that children need structure, but wouldn’t it be more affirming if they were to be on the computer for that one earned hour and get to play all of their favorite games rather than pick only one of them that they are allowed to play on for that hour, or staying on All day long to achieve the same end? It isn’t healthy to have a child sit, all day long staring at a computer screen, either.

  8. KAGI1 says:

all magic forest is a mess for very, very long time!

  9. puppies4me says:

What? WHAT? Back to hourly scheduled Today’s Activities? No way! PLEASE SAY IT ISN’T SO! My Granddaughter and I were just talking yesterday about how nice the change was (to all day). I do have a real life, believe it or not, and I will not go back to setting alarms so I don’t miss Webkinz acticities! Yes, I used to actually set alarms. Not again. Webkinz is my FAVORITE pass time, but, it’s not a life style. Also, I used to wonder with the scheduled time activities, why were Wheel ot the Month turns at 10:00pm? Young school children and pre-schoolers are in bed by then! (Sometimes I am.) GANZ, I really hope Powerann is right and this is “just a hiccup” because of the time change. If so, and Today’s Activities are changed back to all day, I appologize for my rant.
