Look for the ghost in the Reading Room at the Webkinz Classic Clubhouse from October 20 – 31, and click on it to collect candy. Collect all twelve by Halloween to win the grand prize: Haunted Lockers!
You can collect candy from the ghost every six hours. You can feed the candy to your pets, or keep them as special Halloween souvenirs! Click on the Jack O’Lantern icon in the bottom right corner of your screen while you are visiting the Clubhouse, to see your candy collection.
Remember, you must collect all twelve candies from the ghost before midnight, October 31, to win the Haunted Lockers:

considering I spend at least $1,000. per year on estore items I am a very invested player. As such, I am terribly disappointed with this haunted locker. The only “save” would be as one other person suggested, if Ganz decided to make a haunted academy theme. I think that is a spectacular idea!
Some new candy would also be a nice treat. After 14 years I have way too much Halloween candy. I try to send some to all my friends but 3 at a time takes a lot of time.

I might try to pair it with the pink Glampire theme lockers to make a Monster High hallway, but that’s the only idea I can come up with. The Haunted Lockers don’t really match much
One time I took one of my dog pets and made his room into an old alley. Brick walls and he slept in the dog bed from the Curio Shop. I had a set of garbage cans I believe were a PSI and were a peek a boo item that put out, a couple of balls and others things. These old lockers would look great like someone tossed them in the alley. There are neat floor tiles now, like the mail ones, clothes ones that could be put down to scatter the room up to really to an alley effect. I bet you find a great idea! :D

There is so much negativity toward this years prize that I am smh! This is a free event with a free gift just for having a webkinz account. An event that’s suppose to fun and instead there are so many complaints. Please remember fellow players, this event or any others don’t have to take place. It’s nothing that is owed to any of us. Maybe someone you know would like to have it if you decide you don’t want it. Pass it on to them! :D
They literally asked how does everyone feel about the prize. People have a right to their opinions. Although you can play the game for free, most players invest in at least one pet a year to participate as a full player, making them a paid customer, entitled to opinions on what they are buying.
dippyear, absolutely, I agree that people have a right to their own opinion! However, what are you buying when you purchase a pet? You are buying just that…a pet and the “use” of the game with the use of extra games that free players don’t get and the extra perks like kinzposting, etc. You are NOT buying the game. This is still a free event given to players, whether you are free players, full players or deluxe players. Yes, everyone was asked how they liked this year’s prize, but this event still doesn’t have to be given. This is my point.

Thank you, Ganz for another “spooky” take on a Classic theme :) I am not fussy about any gifts I am awarded for completing challenges — I collect items you can’t buy them at the WShop :)

I actually love the Haunted Lockers! I’m not a huge fan of the Academy Theme, as I’m getting tired of all the “school” stuff. BUT…if this Haunted Locker were the first item for a “Haunted Academy” Theme, then that would REALLY be awesome! I’m sorry that so many don’t seem to like this prize. I love creating room themes that just aren’t your normal everyday room themes. We need more Haunted Room Themes and other holiday themes. Also, Essential Workers Room Themes, more Ancient Room Themes, with those being available in the WShop for KinzCash! Please stop having all the BEST items for ePoints! Be fair to all players, especially Classic Webkinz Players! Not everyone can afford ePoints all the time. Buying Pets, and Deluxe Memberships when possible, should be enough.
That sounds like a really cool idea for a theme! An an old, abandoned (and creepy) Kinzville Academy would be a neat room theme. I’m also am a little tired of all the “school” stuff, but that would actually an interesting twist on it
@FoxesRules612 – Thanks! I love creating new and different rooms. I just wish they would expand their Room Themes to include various holiday themes and items, and keep them available all the time in the WShop, for KinzCash! I think there are a lot of creative adults, teenagers, and younger players, that would love to be able to have more items available in the WShop, and not have them be eStore Points or Deluxe Only! Webkinz needs to be more fair to us Classic Players. (UN: farout1)
@Alucard, holy smokes, YES. I agree 100%. I don’t really like the school stuff either, but they do make good KC. I want an abandoned & haunted academy, too! It can have animated items & a skeleton principle, lol. And I agree, I’m so broke and I hate asking my parents for pets/points when I just bought something. Also, hey farout1! =) ~Applh0nsik
@_xPho3nyxblade318x_ – (Hello, my Webkinz Friend, ApplhOnsik!) :-) I know, right? A Haunted Academy Theme would be absolutely cool! Having some items animated would be like frosting on the cake! The Best Part! Ha! I try not to spend too much money on ePoints and Deluxe, but it’s hard not to want the really cool items that you can get there. I just wish there was a way to convince Ganz/Webkinz to allow items that are “Deluxe Only”, to be for KinzCash, and not cost so MUCH! Oh, well…it is what it is! Ha!
