There are a lot of BIG events planned for Webkinz 15th anniversary, but now we want your help with a Lil’ event! Webkinz is excited to introduce a new Lil’ Webkinz to Ganz eStore this summer and you’re going to help us decide which one!
What is a Lil’ Webkinz? It’s a smaller version of a regular Webkinz pet! Originally Lil’ Kinz were smaller versions of regular plush Webkinz pets. Lil’ Webkinz come with the same PSI and PSF as their larger counterpart, and even extend your Full Membership for a year like a regular-sized pet.
To celebrate our 15th year we want to make new online-only Lil’ Webkinz based on an existing pet! That’s where YOU come in! Starting April 20 vote on your favorites from a list of 16 adorable candidates! With your help we’ll narrow down the list until the final vote on Webkinz Day.
The winning pet will be available at Ganz eStore later this year. Stay tuned to Webkinz Newz for updates on when it is going to be released! In the meantime, get ready to vote!

That first S/S/S category is already a tough one for me… I’d love both a lil BumbleBee and a lil Dawn Dragon!
I would be ecstatic if my Nightfall Dragon and my Dawn Dragon could have a little one! I could do separate room designs for HTTYD 1, 2, and 3! No matter which pet wins, I hope that the designers would consider making this a dream come true for me someday!

Yuck, why is it only going to be a virtual pet? On the other hand, glad to see that Lil’ Kinz are coming back.

Oh, I see now. Hopefully they consider making it obtainable though earning those weird M thing that allow you to adopt a virtual pet for free— once you obtain enough of course. I myself personally hate the fact that the majority of the pets sold now are just located and obtained through the eStore and eStore based purchases; I personally hope that someday they make it possible to earn the M-thingys so they people who don’t have an eStore account and/or “eStore points” are still able to play and have access to all of the pets. I would pass this little suggestion onto the Webkinz creators themselves but I don’t know how or know if they’ll even see this here.
I was kinda hoping it was a totally different pet—even if suggested but fans, but not of existing ones. But it’s your show, so I’ll just roll with that. I don’t think I can even picture a lil Kinz snake. That would be interesting.
Hmmmmm, this is going to be difficult. I see two of the Soaring/Swimming/Slithering that I like. One of the Naturals. 2 of the Colorfuls. THREE of the Fluffys that are soooooo cute. Which one? Which one? Which one? Ahhhhh!
Wait…I just realized, why should I give a darn if there isn’t going to be a plush? Webkinz and Lil’ Kinz are hard to tell apart online, and though I’d love any of these 16 in a form I can hug and cuddle, I don’t really care to spend several dollars worth of eStore points on them, especially with the difficulty I’ve had purchasing things on the GANZ site before, and running the risk of my parents looking at me weird when they see something like that on my debit card history.
Yeah it’s too bad they stopped making the plush. Worst thing that’s happened to Webkinz in the 11 years I’ve been a member.
