A new 8 step challenge starts on Monday, July 20, and will run until Friday, July 31, on Webkinz Classic. When you complete each step of the challenge, you’ll be awarded an Ice Cream Social Gift Box that you can use to choose your own prize!
Here’s how to play: Look for the Ice Cream Social Challenge icon on your Webkinz Classic account (desktop and browser versions of Webkinz Classic only). It will be displayed along the left side of your screen:
There are three tasks you’ll need to complete to finish each step of this challenge: Earn a specific amount of points during one game of Cash Cow 2, make 5 wishes at Wishing Well 2, and feed your pet an Ice Cream Cone from the WShop:
The number of points you’ll need to earn during one game of Cash Cow 2 increases with each step of the challenge, making it more difficult as you progress.
You can play Cash Cow 2 at the Games Arcade on Webkinz Classic (desktop and browser versions of Webkinz Classic only):
During the game, click on groups of 2 or more bottles of matching color to remove them. The larger the group, the more points you will get! If you make enough points in a level to reach the goal, you will move on to the next level:
You’ll also need to play Wishing Well 2 at the Games Arcade during the Ice Cream Social Challenge. You only need to make 5 wishes to complete each step of the challenge, so this can easily be completed in one day:
Finally, you’ll need to feed your pet an Ice Cream Cone from the WShop to complete each step of the challenge, so this task can be easily complete in one day as well.
You’ll find Ice Cream Cones in the Food > Ingredients section of the WShop. It’s available on Page 4:
Drag an Ice Cream Cone from your Dock, onto your Webkinz to feed your pet.
When you manage to complete each step of this challenge you’ll win an Ice Cream Social Gift Box:
Drag the gift box from your Dock into your room to open it. Then, choose which prize you would like to keep:
There are eight prizes to choose from, so, if you manage to complete all 8 steps of this challenge by midnight, Friday, July 31 (EST), you’ll be able to collect all eight prizes, or choose duplicates of your favorite prizes.

Wow, I’m VERY happy to know I’m not the only one having trouble with this challenge. I would also like to suggest in the future, that certain prizes like chairs come in sets of 2. It makes decorating hard when you only have a few matching chairs, but the alternative is spending all your prize boxes getting one thing. Either way, it’s difficult to design a cohesive room when choices like that have to be made. Really great prizes otherwise!
The Cash Cow 2 goals are becoming nigh near impossible to hit. It’s asking too much to have to reach the point goal in one play for a game that’s based more on chance than actual skill
I am so glad my children are grown … I can’t imagine the frustration level of a child trying to get the points on this challenge. Step 7 has 1200, and I do believe that it is time to retire. Shame on Webkinz!
When playing Cash Cow 2 it does not show any accumulated points. If I play 3 games it will not record any points I earned. Even though the 3 game total might be 55, it will only show as 0/950. What is going on.
You have to earn the score in a single game. It is not cumulative
Hi Sally, Since there are so many players who are upset and struggling to get the rediculously high accumulative score, could something be changed like allowing accumulative score or lowering the score needed? This is really sad that only only those who are exceptionally good at this game will manage to complete the challenge.
Well so much for getting this done. Seeing the CC2 requirement going up 100 between Pt 1 and 2 to 150 for Pt 3, at this rate of increase, no way can I do this. Why couldn’t you just make it KC requirement or accumulated points, but all in one try, you don’t get how hard your games can be for some of us.
Yes, this is impossible. Needs to be a cumulative score. Do better, Webkinz!
Kind of tired of these “many step challenges”, but…I REALLY want the Waffle Cone seeds, so….guess I’ll be playing the game! I’m a sucker for the seed packs as prizes! Ha! ;-)
Right there with you. If I even do 4 steps of any of them it’s a miracle – this is a full time job that I don’t get paid enough for.
That’s what I say too, I feel it’s become a second full time job just managing the challenges only I am paying them to do it, not the other way around. Pretty wild and tiring, too tiring to keep doing anymore.
