I am so looking forward to this! I miss apple picking I haven’t gone in years. There used to be a huge orchard next to my street but around 2004 they got rid of all the trees, made a new street and put houses in there :(

      That’s horrible! D:

I know it was very sad, the apples were delicious and the orchard was beautiful. It was actually 2002 when they began to take the trees down, I was off a couple years

I hear you. I grew up in an orange grove that’s now nothing but housing tracts. Sigh!

Hey, y’all, I’m right there with you. Wait til you’ve been around over 5 decades; the WHOLE WORLD becomes unrecognizable. :( I grew up in rural area that is now multi lane hiways and strip malls. It used to be oak groves and pine forests. Take LOTS of photos, while you are young, then you can bore YOUR children, with “I remember when…” LOL

Awe. I live in a rural area also, I actually live in a farming community, so there are a lot of livestock, and fields, so basically a lot of farms, I actually see combines and different types of farming equipment almost daily during the warmer months. I really do feel bad for you all ;-; urbanization is really getting outta hand. Thankfully, we own around 21 acres of forest land, different farmers/companies have tried to buy land from us but we never will sell it. It’s just so gorgeous, and plus, it would break my heart seeing our land being slowly deforested ;-; The orange grove and apple orchard must have been gorgeous 1Emerald1 and 90skidszrule! Also, Linden, the land you lived around sounded gorgeous! ♥
